Second visit to this site. Spent a long time here & still can't find it.

Can the cache owner please undertake a visit to this site & confirm the cache is still there? With the exception of 1 found it (it appears to be the odd one out) the last 6 logs on this site are did not find. Many thanks.

Time to archive. Thanks to those that found or even searched.

Couldn't find this one despite having a good look around and widening the search area. Might need checking on there are a few confusing logs on this one but I think the general consensus is it hasn't been found.

26-Apr-15
DNF we spent quite a bit of time searching and even widened our search area unfortunately we couldn't find the goods might need checking

Couldn't find it! Looks like it is miss placed Sad great look out! With the Lexton ladies!

05-Apr-15
Another cache that seems to have gone missing, probably burnt out. The walk in was nice, not too hot, and standing on the mound we had great visibility in all directions.

04-Apr-15
We attempted to locate this one twice on the same day, just in case we may have missed something, but alas no cache to be found. Lots of remnants of muggle activity in what we believe to be in the area, may have been the cause of the finding (or lack there of).

06-Nov-14
I am well behind on logging caches, attempting to catch up.
Apologies to CO's for not logging specifics about their cache.
We certainly appreciate all the effort cachers go to hide and maintain their caches.

A couple of Events in St Arnaud. A heap of new caches. Good caching friends both old and new. Recipe for a great day.

Having driven through town many times but always being too rushed to stop I decided stuff the late hour, tonight's the night....

After the last cache I had to head back toward town before I could find a suitable access point. A short drive uphill through the scrub then a short walk through the very uneven ground to GZ for a quick find and the second of three for this flying visit through town.

Thank you for the cache billywillysillydilly.

#3094th @ 2235hrs.

Awesome spot to travel to!
Definitely for 4x4 if wet, lots of ruts on the way up. Good to practice wheel placement in the vehicle. TFTC

Good hide. Pity it's no longer a lookout. TFTC cache in good condition. If wet, use a 4by. With tarmacdt

Bogonghazy and I drove up here to GZ in the rain today. We walked as little as possible, although we still managed to be wet through by days end. We had the area to ourselves, (who else would be out in the rain, other than some crazy cachers) so BH quickly spotted the cache. Some great views from over the trees. Thanks Billy, and thanks for bringing us here today. Cheers, Leese

01-Jun-14
Quick find here with Sully1 after parking at the top, and walking over to spy the suspicious pile of rocks. Not much to see, it was constantly raining today, and the cloud cover was low low low.
Thanks again bwsd

Enjoyed the view from the lookout. Cache was easy to find when near GZ.

Ahhhh, a nice, fresh container. Made me feel like I was the first cacher here. Well, I guess I was, since the replacement was made.

Another one of these great bush locations with scenic views.....

TFTC

Not much left of the old cache. New cache placed.

04-Aug-13
we looked for signs to the lookout but there are none. The cache needs replacing very wet log book and container is broken
Great lookout no stairs. TFTC

Please refer to the previous log. A new container and history notes are required urgently.

For some time we have been monitoring our caching centroid so that we could log the Geocaching Australia locationless cache “GA Cache At Your Centroid”. As we have cached in every state and territory as well as New Zealand, our caching centroid has not been in Tasmania for some time. Recently the centroid was heading towards Inglewood. Last night our caching centroid was within 2km of this cache. Hence, we decided to make a quick visit to this cache so that we could log the locationless cache. It was a short walk to GZ and after a brief hunt, the cache – or at least the components – was located. The container had almost been destroyed – the tooth marks suggest a grumpy rodent had taken exception to it’s presence. The contents were scattered over the ground. The logbook was damp but still useable. The history notes were totally saturated. We didn’t have anything with us to complete the required maintenance. Hence we packed things up the best we could and covered the cache with a small pile of rocks as an interim measure. A photo has been added to the Gallery to show the current state of the cache. TFTC billywillysillydilly.

So started a weekend away that took in just over 100 caches, including 4 First to Finds, about 1000 days towards the Unloved Cache Challenge (GC3KWWQ) and some really fun adventures both solo and with new and old friends, topped off with a great well attended event cache at Wedderburn.. (with yummy food too) Thanks to all the various cache owners along the way and my apologies upfront for the copy / paste style logging of those 100 odd caches.. Some of the Caches hadn't been found for between 6months and 18months which added greatly to my 15years required for GC3KWWQ.. Thanks..

Many of the caches were a blur and thus there isn't too much I can add from a single cache log point of view, my apologies to the cache owners who each have put a lot of effort into their respective hides..

I stayed overnight in my swag not too far from these caches.. A nice nights sleep was had which left me good to go early the next morning..

Surprised to find this mound of earth here. I was expecting a manmade tower or some such. Had to check out the top of the molehill. (after I located the cache, of course!)
Thanks, Robmc.

Like Danozz, pulled up just short of the top. Did think about doing a massive "Dukes of Hazard" off the top in the GeoDaewoo Wink
Great views that distracted us from our mission of a cache. SLTNLN TFTC and views!

I drove right up to the lookout, but resisted driving the car to the very top. That probably would not end well.

07-Mar-12
An easy find in the bush after having to explain ourselves to a neighbour and the local coppers back at the Lockup. A nice stress-less cache to find. TFTC

Another great hide from billywillysillydilly TFTC gorgeous views

14-Jan-12
Arrived at the 'Lookout' right on dusk after a warm summer's day. The sky colours were fantastic as indeed the 'Lookout' which gives good 360 degree views. A short bush bash and the cache was to hand. Appears to be old diggings a plenty near GZ as indeed most of Inglewood and you wonder at the hardscrabble labours that took place all those decades ago. I wonder too, what the old Miners would have thoughgt of Geocaching? I reckon they'd see the fun of it! Thank you to 'billywillysillydilly' for the location (excellent) and the cache (also excellent). With 'The Comrades'.

Another nice quick find. The lookout structure was tapped off for some reason, but the general elevation provides nice views. Thanks billy...

17-Apr-11
Out caching this morning with the Blacklegend and Haveanez crews during the pre-Easter event. We did some on the kids events this morning including the Easter egg hunt and miniature train rides and now we were cleaning up a few caches we didn't do yesterday. We all got out and stretched the legs before hunting for the cache. Everyones GPS was pointing in different directions. Mine must have been not too bad as I soon had the cache in hand and we were signing the log. Thanks for the hide. Dropped off two TB's as well.
Found while in the area attending the Pre-Easter event near Bendigo over the weekend with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy) and team Haveanez; and during a five day caching blitz with my two boys (Tyler and Cooper) which eventually took us through the Victorian Goldfields, up to the Murray River in Tocumwal and back down through Wangaratta.

17-Apr-11
Found on a fantastic three days caching with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671) and Team Haveanez. The trip included attending the Pre Easter Event 2011 event. Had three of my kiddies with me including my older daughter Jacqueline, 6yo Jasmine and my 4yo boy James. The trip took us through a tour of the Victorian Goldfields and then back up to my place at Tocumwal. One of around 110 finds for the trip.

GPS signals going everywhere, lookout tower not able to be climbed, but cache still found in a nice part of the world. Its all about caching.....! Love it. TFTC.

17-Apr-11
After stopping in Inglewood for some lunch, this was our first stop. A great spot, a shame the lookout was closed could have imagined the views were twice as good as the ones we already got.
Many thanks for sharing this spot with us.

14-Apr-11
16:50
Even with the lookout out of bounds, the view from the base is quite spectacular. It is interesting the way Inglewood is so well camouflaged and hidden within the low mallee scrub.

TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt billywillysillydilly.

09-Apr-11
Easy find. Thanks for this one.

28-Mar-11

Great views, and a lunch stop for us.

Took: Nothing
Left: Screwdriver
Thanks billywillysillydilly for the cache

The lookout is closed since the recent rains, but the view from the hill upon which it stands was still worth a look. Cache found, dropped off a geocoin for the next hide-n-seekers, grabbed a history sheet. TFTC Smile

We found this cache 11:25am as the 9th of 21 on route from Melbourne to Renmark. It is for secret gems of spots like this that we love to go geocaching. The others enjoyed the views whilst I did the caching duties. I real delight from the top. The bottom area around the lookout has eroded away a bit. Thanks from D, HA and A B-A.

15-Oct-10
Not too much to see today with all the clouds and persistent drizzle. Still, they were having floods elsewhere! NEF thanks billysillywillydilly.

08-Jul-10
Found by Mary & David at 1135. Looks like old diggings around GZ. Climbed up to the lookout afterwards for a different perspective on Inglewood. Our thanks as usual to billywillysillydilly.

I didn't realise until today that there was any elevation to be had in Inglewood.
How wrong I was as we slogged up that hill on foot.
I let featherdown look for this one to give her some hunting practice.
Climbed up to admire the view after the find.
Thanks

25-Apr-10
A nice little walk in from the road.
No one about so we took as long as we wished and climbed the lookout as well.
Thanks for showing us this place.

Raining quite hard now, which is not all bad as it's washing the locusts off the car. Thanks for the nice easy cache billywillysillydilly TNLN

Took a little to find access to this. Tried driving up, only got so far, and had an easy walk for the rest. Near the end of the return the second front started hosing down so made a quick dash back to the car for shelter. Cheers Gav [5494]

Caching at night, so unfortunately can't satisfy my curiousity about what can be seen from the lookout at 180m altitude. T4TC, M@

Had lunch, took in the view, found cache and went. By TURPS2 10.03.10 at 1515hrs.

11-Mar-10
I was suprised there was a lookout here because it is such a flat area but when we arrived we were impressed that they had had to build a hill. Cache was located despite our GPSr an again it was quite wet. Dried it out and added some silica packets we had located. We have enjoyed our day in Inglewood including coffeee at the pub. TFTCs.

06-Mar-10
Having a day out in the Inglewood area, was surprised at the fact there was a lookout here, not that I could see too much from the 'tower'. Cache located and log made.

04-Mar-10
Found at 0730. Once we navigated the 2WD to the lookout, we soon realised that GZ was a little further away. The cache was found without problem as we took in the views of the area, which were surprisingly good.

Thanks.

28-Feb-10
This is a great little area here with all the evidence of the early diggings and a place to see how things have changed since then. We enjoyed the walk to gz where the GPSr pointed us directly to the cache for a nice easy find and then we climbed the lookout to grab a couple of photos before leaving
Thanks billywillysillydilly for the cache

28-Feb-10
I crept in slowly in the 2WD as some of the roads were a bit rough. I pulled up next to the lookout thinking that's where we'd be looking only to discover the GPSr pointing 50m away! A short stroll later and MV made the find. The views from the top were pretty cool and it was interesting to see some of the industries scattered around.

Thanks,

R - B

23-Feb-10
Found by Roma and Max.
Once again we are familiar with this GZ having paid a number of maintenance visits to a cache that was hidden just across the road from here. Unfortunately mining expansion overwhelmed that hide in recent times.
Thank you once more billywillysillydilly for placing this cache.
Romax.
