Unfortunately there does not seem to be any evidence that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. It would appear the owner of this cache listing is no longer interested in the cache and the cache has been abandoned.
As such the cache is being de-listed (Archived). If there are components or remnants of the cache, please recover them as we don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.

I think this has gone missing. Had been there a looong time. I’ll try to replace tomorrow.
Hubby took us this way on our way home from Easter camping. Never knew this place existed! Tftc.
We were out here with various families on the Easter long weekend. I would have loved to grab the other caches and collect the unlove on them but it just wasn't going to happen with a group of 15. We bumped in to Jacko83 on site, said hello, and let him head off for bigger adventures. Meanwhile we retreated to the picnic ground below and had lunch.
Thanks billywillysillydilly for keeping this cache going!

Have been meaning to check out this park for some time and today was the day. Was a bit hot and dry up here, thinking this place is much more green in winter. Whilst up here had the pleasure of meeting Paul the Ball.
Thanks for placing a cache here.

What a great walk up, magnificent views and beautiful scenery. Thanks for placing this cache here. Found

Found in company with Claybol and virbull. Gorgeous day for the uphill hike. Thanks for the cache placement all good at GZ.
Find #1538 for me. Found at 11.15 am with jtnsilo and virbull on a day-trip to the Melville Caves. Given the slightly cooler weather, today was the perfect day to be in this area. Well it looks like we got there the "hard" way after parking at the picnic area below and climbing up to the the top from there. On the positive side we were rewarded with fantastic views and very interesting landforms on the way up, not to mention great company and good exercise. But now seeing the easier route in using Google Earth from home explains why it's a T2! Thanks for bringing us to this great location today billywillysillydilly (worth a favorite point from me) and thanks for the cache!
We accidentally stumbled across it whilst looking for Bendigo rocks! Now we have a new hobby to find these hidden treasures!!!! We didn't sign it but we will on the next one. There was a witch inside An some stickers but the kids left it all in there.
It was quite a few years back that we last went to Melville Caves as a family, and I remember vaguely it being full of lots of good places to climb around. We stopped by again. Unfortunately we were low on time, so we only had a chance for a brief climb up to the top and look around, this area looks like it would repay further exploration.
Cache itself was in first place I looked, good view from up here.
Thanks for the cache.

No sign of Captain Melville today, but the view was as spectacular as ever, and a galah posed in the tree for a photo! TFTC
Good find on a sunny Easter Monday and great quality time with the family. TFTC
Went to a visit to the Melville caves today. What a great place we climbed over and under all the rocks. Cache was an easy find, had to wait until all the muggles were gone. TFTC
Visiting the family in Bendigo and we decided to go out and see the sights and do some caches with the GeoFamily. Our fourth cache for the day and another quick easy find by the Geo - Brother - in - law. It was a cold overcast and very windy day, deserted of Muggles at the lookout today. TFTC and bringing us to this area. Been to Bendigo numerous times but had never ventured beyond. TNLN
Nice trek on a cold wintery day with geochild who found the cache. I looked at gz but missed it completely. Awesome views and we had fun climbing through the caves. TFTC
After walking the Eastern walking track this morning, we decided to do the Southern track this afternoon, and we left the campground after lunch, via the caves area. Hardly any muggles around at the lookout, and a fairly simple (or lucky!) find. TNLN.
Found by Greg. Puff, puff. Only to find we could have driven most of the way. Spectacular views, well worth the visit. TFTC.
Found this one at 15:00 while on the second loop of today's bushwalk. There were plenty of muggles around on such a glorious day and the cache was actually in plain view when we spotted it but all seemed to be OK with it. After signing the log though, we gave it a bit more cover before leaving.
TNLNSL. Thanks billywillysillydilly.
**PS:** There was no sign of the *[Nut bear's Birthday Hippo](https://coord.info/TB5J3K8)* trackable in the cache nor does it appear to have been there for quite some time. The owner of a cache that a trackable is listed as being in can mark the trackable as missing by going to the trackable's listing page and completing that action. Maybe it's time to do that for this one.
TNLNSL. Thanks billywillysillydilly.

After struggling up the short track, that was as hard as it looked, we rested at the top before looking for this one. YT took a route one side of a huge rock but found himself at the wrong end of a crevice. Meanwhile EuDes had taken a easier walk to the other end and found the cache somewhat exposed at 15:00. Replaced with a bit more cover. Thanks BWSD
Came by after setting up our campsite. Very nice night for caching. Thanks for the cache.
After grabbing coffee in town this morning, it was time to hit the trail and grab some caches on the way home.
This was the first of the day, following TheTritonz today, we decided a nearby series was where we were headed before making the trip home.
Thanks for bringing us to this location.

Unfortunately it was time to leave Wedderburn and head back home but not before picking up some more quality caches in the company of TR! in and around Kooyoora State Park. We made the the slow trek up here to locate this cache while enjoying the views and exploring the caves.
Thanks billywillysillydilly for placing a cache here.

A long weekend and another trip with the geo 'rents and geobro'. What a cool way to spend Easter
Headed for Albury for 2 nights and then Bendigo for 1 night and we took each day as the caches came. A turn here, a turn there, a dirt track here and there and miles and miles of bitumen [^]
LOL, I've just seen one of geobro's cache logs and it reads very much like mine
Although he forgot to mention that he not so kindly shared his viral germs with geomum and I! [xx(]
Today (day 4) I found 26 caches and had 2 DNFs
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
Fantastic views and well worth the look
Oh and a cache find too

Awesome find! I found this by accident ages ago on a scout camp! We were playing capture the flag and I saw it, thanks for the find, also this was before I even had an account. TFTC
We had never been to this area before, so after spending yesterday in Bendigo, our dear friends Romax offered to bring us out here. What a spectacular location! We will have to come back to explore the area properly. The cache was found in good condition, but was exposed, so we covered it well before leaving (and in the nick of time before a group of muggles arrived to also enjoy the views). TFTC billywillysillydilly
Found this one today while caching the area. Nice one almost got muggled kids loved the swaps. TFTC
Found whilst on a day out caching from Bendigo. Great hiding place and gorgeous views. Enjoyed exploring this area today and will be back again soon. Thank you for the cache Billywillysillydilly
Nice easy find after a workout to get to the look out. Found exposed so covered. TFTC
Now I read the bit about the top car park! Nearly killed myself on the steep climb.Still proud I made it! Grandson retrieved cache head first with just his bottom in the air. Well done M! [(:]
Kids loved playing around the rocks and exploring all the crevices. Found this after enjoying the view from the lookout. TFTC
My family (becca85, neisha07 & boo09) met up with family friends the ReganSeekers family to check out some caches around Melville Caves. We had a great time exploring! TFTC
Backlogging... School Holidays are upon us and no work for Mum & Dad today we (neisha07, chan02 & becca85) teamed up with ReganSeekers for a Picnic & Geocaching daytrip to the caves.

Found at 1.30pm - We were camped nearby for the Easter break. Our first walk was to this great lookout.
We have been here many times before, but it is still a great place to visit and explore.

Well the geomobile had sat in a shady spot all morning at the picinic ground carpark, below the lookout while I wandered around the Old Bloke's Trail.
So being the lazy bugger that I am, I could not be bothered driving the 1.5kms to the top carpark
Thus I walked up the hill to reach the lookout
Being lazy can be healthy [:o)]
I appeared at the lookout about 10 minutes after leaving the picinic area.
A bit hot and sweaty, but still smiling
Collapsing into a shady spot to recover, I noted the cache was hidden just a couple of feet away
TFTC and the views
