Quick find on labour day! We had no pencil so we are logging on here! In the first hole we looked in
Quickly ashore for this then back to quinella for breezy sail to mahurangi for the night. Tftc
4606 Quick find... had a 10min window between drop off and pick up from our friendly water taxi service. TFTC
1.39pm. Lucky break that the water taxi was going past and dropped us off for a quick find.

Mr TT and Sp8s must qualify for smooth talking awards. Had confessed all to the water taxi guy about our intentions, and by chance he was transporting an injured Scout around this bay. Generously he dropped us off so we could nab this one, then picked us up about 10 mins later. Huge dead stingray on the beach created lots of interest. Great to be able to see the other inlets on Kawau. TFTC
Needed some smart talking to the ferry driver, but we got 10 minutes ashore here.

From here we kayaked on to Snells Beach to meet up with a friend, then paddled the long way back to Mahurangi because we missed the tide for the portage, but a very pleasant night paddle. A full day's kayaking, about 40km all up. T4TC, M@ & Trevor

Been out sailing for Easter Weekend and had a nice time with some other H28 people.
Quick find with Wife, Kids & NigelGPS.
TFTC. Nice spot and also have fond memories of Ligards also, a 36 foot one.
