The container has gone missing many times.
The original waypoint one (a sign in the water) was removed when the boat ramp was closed.
Waypoint two at the end of the pier is now gone as they are turning the area into a cafe.
Thanks for all those who went for a wander.
Cheers!!!

Out on the bikes with teamdfl again, and this time we were doing a numbers run for me as I'm chasing a milestone in a couple of weeks We parked at the northern end of the Spit, rode south collecting GCPT caches all the way, then up the western side of the Broadwater, then down along the Nerang River, over Chevron Island and back up to the car. A round trip of about 26kms, and very easy riding.
When we realised where this one started from we just laughed. Back we go over there again, then Right, got that info and crunched the numbers... now where? Oh no, back over there again??? We just looked at each other and laughed again. Definitely some circle work happening here today Good, more number crunching done, off to the last spot. Now this one is odd! Had to think a bit here and make some assumptions, but those co-ords are looking very good. Off to GZ
Well, here we came unstuck, because we could not find a single trace of the cache We even went beyond the terrain rating quite considerably, but still no luck Another time.

We had a nice ride. The rain was holding off, and there were hardly any muggles to worry about. We rode around in some circles and had a good old giggle about that. Got some numbers and did some sums.
Okay, off to GZ. Not a soul in sight. Nice. We had the place to ourselves and no worries with the hunt. Well we hunted, but did not find. We looked in lots of places a T1.5 could be, and even a few it should not, but did not find a cache
And now as I go to write this log I see that the CO has disabled it. Happy to know it was not cache blindness after all

Checked on this one the other day and could not see the container in it's hiding spot.
Will work on a new container.

It was a nice wander even though it was a little windy and rainy at times. We made it to the final destination, looked high, low, under, over, in and out.
And with 3 pairs of eyes searching we thought it wouldn't take long but today wasn't going to be the day.

We had A Nice Wander on the Broadwater with Noo82 collecting info and enjoying the lovely area that was so packed with muggles yesterday but was so quiet today. Our new co-ordinates led us to a positive looking GZ but after quite a search (and we could have a good look on a wet Monday morning) we couldn't locate the cache. Thanks anyway radnoski, no cache but we still got to wander.
Had the chance to grab 4 finds after an appointment in Currumbin. A nice day weather wise, and enjoyable few hours caching with my 4yo Natasha. The caches grabbed were more in a central Gold Coast location, lots of muggles, so patience was needed.

Been meaning to get this one for some time, but glad that it had been saved for this occasion. Had fun walking to various waypoints and just generally having a "Nice Wander". GZ a nice spot, but muggles in red and yellow were a problem, so I just had to wait it out and be stealthy. TFTC Radnoski, enjoyed it.

If I wasn't trying to be discrete and not bring the attention of the two bored life guards in the tower I would have let out a yell of achievement. I finally found this one!!!!!
I feel a bit better about my finding ability too now that I know that this definitely wasn't there when I was looking before. I saw it straight away today. I did have to make an undignified clamber under the jetty/boardwalk but I was absolutely not leaving without signing this log. I'm giving this a favourite as my long distant memory of counting lights and other things was fun.
Thanks radnoski

Today was a beautiful mild Ekka holiday. Perfect to collect the odd cache. So I took the kids down to the Broadwater to get them out of the house and away from their computer games.
We checked out the first waypoint and kept heading north with the kids enjoying their scooters and bikes. On the return journey, I stopped and collected the info at the second waypoint before taking a nice wander past the led lights.
Soon enough we found ourselves at GZ. After searching the wrong spot, my geo-senses kicked in and it was soon in my hand. Thankfully, there was a pencil in the container, as I had left my only caching pen in the CO's nearby Titans cache.
Thanks for the cache, Radnoski. Aptly named!

Woohoo! Celebration! I finally found one of your caches along this section. The sign at WP1 seems to be AWOL. Loved the LED poles which made noise. Busy play areas this morning. Thanks.
Well I tried to find this one the other day but Wp1 has gone walk abouts. So a message to Radnoski was needed and he confirmed where I thought the sign should be. He was nice enough to give me the two numbers I needed to complete the puzzle.
So back again today to a reasonably quiet GZ and soon had the cache in hand. This parkland looks better and better all the time. There are so many council workers keeping this place clean and tidy.
Thanks for another great puzzle cache and a little help Radnoski.

Grabbed all the clues over Christmas but hadn't been in the area again till today. Found the hide after not too long. Hint was very helpful. Thanks! Great parks around here.
I have replaced the container and log book in the original hiding spot.
It is now GTG (Good to go). Sorry for the delay.

I went down at lunchtime to have a look.
No sign of the new container anywhere. I will have to re-think the final spot as it keeps getting muggled.

Lots of muggle around this time of year.
I did find a stealthy way to replace the container without nearby muggles (hopefully) being any the wiser.
Anyway, the container is back in place and we are good to go.
Cheers!!

We did this one after the CITO Wave break. Nice to meet you Radnoski, but this cache is definitely missing. We were in the right area and searched everywhere, but I think it's been muggled. Can the CO have a look and replace it if it is definitely missing? We would love to have this one checked off our list.
I don't like to say this, but I couldn't Find it even though in the right place and after finding the nearby one. Perhaps it simply isn't there anymore??
Thought I had this sorted but didn't find it. Think I solved right but will have to check again later.
No luck for me today. I had trouble with the numbers on another puzzle nearby, so I wouldn't be surprised if I was in the wrong spot. My GZ did match the clue, but so would many places round here ;-(
Just dipping a trackable item ("Zorgon" the trackable netball) received from Cats&Dragons at the nearby coffee shop today.
We enjoyed our wander around the Southport Broadwater area this morning. We didn't have any difficulties collecting the required information at each of teh waypoints. When we got to GZ, it was muggle free making for an uninterrupted search. The cache was a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. TFTC radnoski.
Approached this one from the wrong direction the first time we had a look. Sorted thing out found the correct answers and walked straight to the hiding place, with virga 13 and gjojen in hot pursuit TFTC.
This one got us going, had trouble counting, well done radnoski , dropped off coin which has been with us for a while TFTC
A nice wander indeed. Nice walk to some areas we have been caching before but very pleasant. TFTC radnoski.
Had to head down to Southport today because I was summonsed to Court, luckly after listening to a lot of boring stuff and waiting around for what seemed like hours and actually was (2 Hours) they let me go and I didn't even get to see the Judge. Well what was I, a Geocaching Junkie, going to do, I had paid for 4 Hours of parking and also being a financial nut I couldn't waste that so off to a non smiley area Cache Cache Cache Yeah! OH hang on that should be Cache Cache Cache Cache and don't get on my Cache.
So let's line up the suspects, I could support a local football team, go for a bit of a sail, have a nice wander or maybe solve some gobbledygook. Oh why don't I just go for the foursome.
.
It was indeed a Nice Wander through a great area for families. The waypoints were well done and minimal muggle activity was a bonus. At GZ I thought my luck had run out as muggles were very close but the GPS shifted and they were on the other side and sitting down enjoying the scenery and paid no attention to me. Nice hide TFTC SL TNLN
.
And I even saw a Burley Koala on the way back to the car.
.

(Oh I mean a Koala Coaches Bus from Burleagh)
.
.
Oh and by the way I wasn't the guilty one, I was called up fo Jury Duty and the Cache (oh sorry I mean Case ......Caching on the brain) was closed before we could even be selected.

Nice Multi, had me back tracking a bit though. The last clue had me guessing a bit I came up with 3 different numbers, depending on which ones were included, so I went for the lowest and most likley in my mind and there it was. It wouldnt make much difference only 1.5 to 3mts anyway. Grabbed a hot dog for lunch nearby before moving on. Thanks, awesome cache.[^]
Did the wander, collected the clues, did the sums then off to the final GZ. Had to manipulate my body into a shape it wasn't used to, to extract the cache. But I managed it, signed log and replaced it despite complaints from my joints. TFTC radnoski
We did have a rather nice wander! Thanks for a cache in a lovely area. We picked up a tb from this cache, we'll take it for a short trip across the water. TFTC

Without Radnoski, I had gone through the motions of this cache previously.. collecting all the clues.. dodging some muggles setting up some concert. Alas I came up very empty handed at GZ Radnoski has since rectified that - so tonight I decided to swing past and collect the prize. Thankfully GZ was desserted and was able to search in peace. I found it after a small hunt and in good condition.. TFTC radnoski - it was indeed.. a nice wander
I have replaced the container and added a fancy new log book and some other stuff.
I strongly recommend this as a NIGHT CACHE. (Less muggles to deal with and Stage 3 is pretty cool at night.)

It looks like the container has been muggled. I will replace soon.
(Sorry Fangsoki..... No cache for you the other day but I hope you had a "Nice Wander" any way)

Off for some early morning caching this morning. Loved the poles! There were some muggles swimming to the south so I took a bit of different route in. Thanks for bringing me here this mornng.
Got this while trying to complete the other mystery cache in this park, was surprised to find another cache at one of the stages required to find this cache. GZ was packed full of people with lifeguards on the lookout. Searched for the box then was unable to sign it due to lifeguards ushering us away. TFTC
Was so looking forward to getting this cache, all the waypoints worked out, however when I reached GZ it was muggle central. In a touristy manner (that is randomly taking photos of the water) I did find the cache. However, before I could get in to log it a nearby lifeguard told me to move away from GZ. Great cache though, amazing parks and views on a beautiful gold coast day. TFTC
I went and checked this one after work today and it is definitely still there. (and everything is dry)
I tried to check it the other day at lunch time but it was muggle central..... but luckily "rainy days keep the muggles away".
Bristracker - You were in the right area by the sounds of it. The cache is tucked up in a spot nearby.

I'm logging a DNF in case others want to go and don't want to repeat my experience. The cache may be there, but I couldn't find it and the indications were that something has gone wrong near GZ.
On an overcast, blustery day I thought I'd do some local caches still outstanding on my list. I had already noted the waypoints, and did the wander, taking some photos along the way. Everything was OK until I got to the final waypoint or GZ where I found a sign telling me to stay off the area I wanted to explore. I suspect there has been some subsidence of sand near the pier/pontoon. I'll contact cache owner to see if my suspicions are well founded. Or not, as the case may be. Even in these dull blowy conditions I still enjoyed the wander. The parklands are really lovely and let's hope they stay clean and inviting like they are now.
Unfortunately the site does not seem to be letting me upload photos at present so I'll try again later.

This was the second cache of 13 for the day, on my last caching around the Gold Coast. I totally enjoyed my wander around this location, I have to admit that I can't add up and ended up in a park 1km away, I gave radnoski a call to see if I was at the right spot, no you better redo the math was the answer, once I realized my mistake I had a pleasant find. My thanks to radnoski for the cache.
Yes, a very nice wander.
I have not been here for many a year.
Found the clues and got distracted by finding other caches along the way but we eventually located the cache with a muggle fishing only metres away.
But, as with most fishermen, he only had one interest.
Thanks for a great hunt.

A lovely wander through the new parklands. This would be an excellent cache for visitors to the Gold Coast. TFTC.
Back in the area today so came back for another look. Thanks to Radnoski for letting us know it had been replaced. Lovely spot. TFTC and the puzzle. Left Mr Ray Travel Bug and took the Duke Travel Bug.
Wandered, counted, calculated and found . Beautiful spot, currently undergoing even more renovations. I am sure it will be stunning once fully complete. Great day for a nice wander [^]. Thanks radnoski
It was a good cache beacause I could take off my shoes after a long day at a train show

What a nice little wander around the parklands. We joined with one member of the Kirra Mob for a picnic and some caching in this great area. Love the area around the third stage.
Dropped off Rubber Worm Guy Goes Global TB who wants to travel around fishing spots.... well, he's now within a decent cast of a very popular fishing spot.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the wander through this wonderful park. Unfortunately a "Muggle ice cream vendor" set up shop about 30m away and all the stray "Muggle eating ice cream eaters" came and sat nearby - and I forgot my wallet!
Dropped off a shell that we picked up on the shores of the Mediterranean (Menton, France) - from shore to shore.
Took GeocoinFest 2007.

Well it took us a couple of goes - counted poles on whole path instead of just left fork, then put in number on each side, then put wrong southing in?????? THEN got it right Tiger Twosome were with me & it took input from all 3 of us but we FINALLY got it. Dropped off the Geocoin after all the intended drop offs in Western Qld went unfound due to water & LONG grass everywhere. Took Good Luck Coin Left keyring TFTC cold windy day but we had fun.
A cooler day keeps muggles away! We have visited this impressive park a few times. Worth bringing geokids just to see and listen to the strange lights - ours love them. SL TNLN TFTC
I have replaced the container/log/items within a few meters of the original spot. (A much safer spot I think)
One of the clues at waypoint 1 has changed so that you get the new South co-ordinate.
Happy hunting. Keep an eye out for muggles.

I checked this one out today and it looks like it has been muggled by mother nature. As far as I can tell it has probably been washed out to sea.
I found a better hiding spot near the GZ so I will place a new container soon and change the co-ordinates/clues slightly.

Another did not find for the day. Muggles very close to where we thought the GZ was but there has been a lot of recent erosion because of the heavy storm last week. Hope we got the co-ords right. This cache may need checking.
Found this little multi with Ms Wig who informed me that this are is a big improvment on how it used to be before the refurb.
Found the WPs ok, calcs done.. off to gz.. oh no, muggle right there, oh well sit down at the likely spot, hang on, I dropped my pen... oh I
better look for it... fumble click click fumble... there it is fumble click fumble... hmmm all done, with some great acting
Thanks Radnoski, great spot to wander around.

Nice way to start the day, we're very impressed with the redevelopment project. Had to dodge security to access one of the answers. TNLN, TFTC.
Tenth find on a day of many by bike (14 hunted, 12 found, 1 not and 1 thwarted by muggles).
A good way to look around this recently renovated area. It's looking really good, and it must get really busy in the weekend as there were plenty of muggles around today, although I still managed to retrieve and replace the cache unobserved.
Had to dodge the security muggle as I rode my bike a couple of places I shouldn't have - according to the signs (I figured it was ok because there were no muggles in these places at the time).

Great fun finding the cache on a fine morning after a week of rain with goodlooker and GeoDog in tow. Took Geocoin Inuksuk and left carabiner. TFTC.
A very appropriate cache name. It was just what we were doing this morning. Left a very smart Winter Olympics geocoin to acknowledge the Aussie Gold medal last night. #998

Yay. FTF! At 12:40am on the 24th. Glad my geoson was still up. We had a couple of difficulties finding this cache. Firstly we dashed outside to find my geomobile hemmed in by one of my daughters who was now asleep. Take another vehicle. Got to first location only to realize my glasses, so I could read, were in the geomobile that was still at home. Thank goodness I'd brought geoson. Waypoint 1 was no trouble. Waypoint 2 wasn't either, except writing the answers to the questions in semi dark proved a problem when we read back one of the numbers as something different and the GZ appeared like it was to be way out in the ocean. Re-checked answers and corrected the problem and went straight to GZ. Great hide Radnoski. I certainly wouldn't want to try to get this one during the day - it would be muggle central in daylight hours I'm sure. Thanks for another new cache. It was certainly great to do 'A Nice Wander' around here for a cache. The temperature and breeze were beautiful tonight. Took: TB to move along.
