OK I am guilty of not logging caches over the last year or two. Due to 2 operations and rehab it has made it difficult to log caches even though I have been mostly chair bound sitting for short times has been difficult as well.
What I have done is create this log in an attempt to bring our found and DNF's up to date so I can resume my normal habit of stories rather than a TNLN - TFTC.
Most of these logs will not include the owners team name so I think it is appropriate to say a Big Thank the cache owners for their caches and some wonderful memories of caching adventures.
Also thanks to Team Crackers who have made our caching trips so much fun and their help in working out what caches we did and when.
Regards
Mr.Coffee and the "I promise I wont let this happen again after all these coffee's er I mean caches are drunk er I mean logged" Coffee Clan.

05-Sep-10
We again teamed up with Mr Coffee and the clan for another find and feed day.
This was the last in the WHSS series for us which was unfortunately off line the last time we visited. We really enjoyed the series and wanted to finish it. We were in the area today and took the opportunity to visit this great structure. We have also seen it's counterpart in Echuca. With spot on co-ords the cache was located easily and the log signed. When we went to log this one we noticed that it, along with the others in the series have been sadly archived. It's always a shame to see good caches disappear
Thanks The Lone Random for the cache and the history

01-Aug-10
Detemined to not be beaten by this one again we spent a good 15 minutes searching for this one
For once I found it instead of crochetboy - he was not too pleased about that
Really cool hide, worth the hunt

01-Aug-10
For once i did not find it but was still a good time

30-Jul-10
Eleventh find on rugby and caching holiday - off to the Bledisloe Cup game. Quick find before dashing to catch the train back to Flinders Street.

Thanks for the cache!!

25-Jul-10
Found at 11:50 am. Out caching with my little girl, Indi. Well hidden - took a quite few minutes to find. Cache was generally damp, but log was nice and dry. Indi snaffled a little pink slinky. Indi dipped her Caterpillar Travel Tag in the cache. Thanks for the cache. SL. Cool[8)]

04-Jul-10
Even with spot on co-ords it took quite a bit of looking. I eventually found it as I was about to give up, and let the 3yo grab it.
Took eraser, left slinky.

03-Jul-10
Had a good look and eventually found it after getting covered in little fluffy bits from the plants
Clever container but it was very damp inside so changed the ripped bag to keep the log dry.
TFTC!

27-Jun-10
Had a good look around this afternoon. Couldn't find it, despite very few muggles. Another time perhaps.

22-Jun-10
2nd find of the day. The co-ords were spot on, and I doubt we would have found without the great co-ords. There are so many spots to hide!
TNLN SL Thank The Lone Random for the cache.

19-Jun-10
After a bit of a seach I checked the information and went back to the area from the car....and found it..damn much have been so close before. Nice type of cache. MissTrouble next to me logged our found then walked out of the area while no-one else around.

TNLN thanks SmileSmile

We arrived at this cache site to see a burly fellow looking around suspiciously. He was either a geocacher or he was looking for someone to retrieve his lost dog. But no, thankfully he was a geocacher. So we said hello to Rudi63 who was just down in sunny Melbourne for the day. Together we all bobbed down to look for the cache with Mr Jiblets coming up with the goods a few minutes later. After signing the logs, we all stood up again. Must have looked a sight from the walking path! Secret Mens Business. Thanks again to The Lone Random for some great caches today.

14-Jun-10
Got sprung by some other cachers, it was great to meet another couple of cachers, especially noting I am only down for the day. Swapped some TBs SL TFTH Big Grin

14-Jun-10
Arrived at a close by car park, where i noticed a person trying to look inconspicuous could they be another cacher? Yeap, after introducing ourselves we set out to find the cache together finding it after a couple of minute's later.
Good to meet up up with fellow cacher's out on the road that you can finally place a face to a name.
Thanks for the cache The Lone Random
No swaps made today!

Find #17 on a clean up Williamstown night run with my mate Marshy (Blacklegend17). Tough area to find a cache, plenty of hiding spots, but we were determined not to leave until it was found. Marshy eventually came across the cache. TFTC.

11-Jun-10
Found with my good mate Marty Quasar3671 on our clean up Williamstown run. Quick find at night with no muggles around. Did have to scratch around a little bit but was still located pretty quickly. I live in Tocumwal, and have seen the other bridge in Echuca. Nice to see its twin here.

30-May-10
DNF - I looked for a while, phoned a friend, looked a bit more, but hidden in the manner it appears to be it is a bit of a needle in a haystack job.

29-May-10
Find # 3229 and 6th of the day @ 4:31 pm. Another afternoon off to do a bit of caching. Nice camo on the container, TNLN , left my mark on the log, thanx The Lone Random....Big Grin

Found while on my Williamstown jaunt. I love old trains! TNLN TFTC SL

23-May-10
Found by edmil and maddie. This was our 7 of 9 caches for the day (9 provided we get the virtual and earth caches correct). It was essentially the last physical find for the day. We were then off to visit one friends for afternoon tea. The cache was another cleverly camouflaged one, but not quite camouflaged enough to stop the find. After a short search another one bit the dust. Log was signed but no swap was made. Thanks for the cache another good one that allowed us to learn more about the history of the area.

15-May-10
This cache had me scratching all over the place but eventually I decided to trust the coords and spotted it in plain view. I was unaware of the history of this location and would have liked to have stuck around but it was getting dark and I was due for dinner.

Many thanks,

R - B

I found this cache today at 5:20pm as the final of 17 on our Double Event to Williamstown Tour in company of Team Rubik. Rubik held the honours here after a brief search. We were luckily out of sight of the nearby houses. Our 10th ever haul of 17 in a day and the 2nd one this year. Thanks from D B-A.

Find # 1184 @ 13:03
Had a good look for this in an area that had been trampled considerably before my arrival making me think it was not in this spot. I made a quick phone call to a previous finder who sugeste it was not where the gps was pointing. After expanding the search, I soon found the hide. SL Thanks to The Lone Random for the cache.

Found @ 19:30 while caching with davroy tonight. Found after a short search by davroy. TFTC SL

04-May-10
Found @ 1930.

Found with ggkof on our usual Tuesday night caching expedition. Cache was found after a quick search. The bridge looks great.

02-May-10
Didn't find it. Impossible in the dark and covered in crap from the bushes. Bummer!

02-May-10
In the fading light, the only thing Team Awesome found was that they are not quite so Awesome. Will try again soon, with more appropriate clothing.

28-Apr-10
Found 13:20, in the company of Muzza. The tall shrubs at GZ provided great cover from passing muggles.

TNLN, CSI=2, thanks to The Lone Random.

28-Apr-10
Found in the company of Biggles Bear #1 after a couple of minutes of searching. Thanks to the Lone Random for the last cache of this series (at this point in time) for me to do.

25-Apr-10
Was fun to walk over the old footbridge then rustle in the bushes. After lots of scratches on our legs, we found the cache! Well hidden! Signed log, took nothing, left pathtag. Smile

21-Apr-10
A quick walk over the bridge and the cache was in hand after a short search of GZ. This is an interesting place at the end of the line...what is the bridge even there for?

Visited this one with a caching team from New Zealand. TFTC.

Always feel a bit unsure about these sorts of hunts, especially when you have a security contractor for the nearby facility parked not that far from you and the cache. Cheers Gav [5773]

Found by caughtatwork at 16:49 on 5/04/2010
The last find of the day and with GabGab and I wandering around in circles, Mrs c@w came to the rescue with her seeker sense and spotted the well concealed cache.
An interesting piece of history and quite fascinating to walk down to the end of the tracks ... just as a train was pulling up. We all hoped the brakes would work today Smile
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks The Lone Random for this cache experience today. It's a tough cache to find as even though the external cammo is coming away, the base color makes this a dang hard one to find.

I found this cache with caughtatwork and mummy today. Mummy found this one while daddy was walking around in circles. Mummy is so clever at finding tricky caches. I love her. Thank you.

It's a gorgeous Footbridge (fairly recently restored too I read on the Information Board) and as illuminated in the notes provided by 'The Lone Random'. There are fine Views are obtained on the Bridge too, (even at night) though hard to imagine the industry that took place in what is now Point Gellibrand Park. The cache required some very careful (and discreet) investigation before it came to hand - a well thought out container too. Though, I probably looked a tad suspicious hunting for it with my torch ablaze in the now daylight savings free landscape. Fortunately, only a stray Dog (not myself) seemed to notice - he found me sitting down trying not to be seen as I filled in the Log and probably though the cache was a rather exotic bone. I waited for him to move along least he in fact try to find it and take it back home and no doubt puzzle his Master! The cache location could certainly be a busy place (at times) during daylight hours and it'd be hard not to be noticed. Another enjoyable caching experience on my night time sojourn to photograph the nearby Timeball Tower. Thanks to 'The Lone Random' for the cache and the notes. TNLN. TQP

Tristan the Travel Turtle Tag (TTQWTC) has come for a flying visit back in time.

My gpsr was acting really funny around this bridge.
It took a lot longer to locate than it need be as we crossed the bridge.
T: coins L: pathtag
Another nice hide. Thanks The Lone Random for this cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1210. We love a bit of history, and this was an interesting spot. Looking at the old photo, there's not much of the original structure left these days. Next time we're in Echuca, we'll have to look at their bridge. Our thanks to The Lone Random.

15-Mar-10
Found 1.00pm
Parked up and admired the structure before walking along the path to find the cache. Once at GZ the sneaky little hide took some finding but managed to eventually find and log the cache.

Thanks The Lone Random

I could have driven to this one but walked from the nearby multi and scrambled over the pipe. Took a little while to locate this guy but then spotted it. Like others have mentioned the cameo needs a bit of TLC but otherwise a very good cache.

Checked out the great bridge on my trip back to the car via the road this time.

found by gawe46 from Germany
left 2 german coins, took a spider

A nice easy find, now we know of the type of caches are in the area. Geowife, got her pants caught on the pipe, which made me laugh. TFTH...SL...TNLN

08-Mar-10
Found while the rain began tumbling down again.
The coords were really good as I had very limited time here before the car beckoned.
The cammo is slipping badly and has taken a pounding in the wet.
Would like to have read the plaque but it was now too wet for anything.
Thanks Lone Random.

07-Mar-10
Parked 15 metres from it this afternoon, but the pipe was a little awkward to cross, so walked around to GZ. I spent a bit of time looking for this one, but finally spotted the cleverly camo-ed container. It looks like the camo is beginning to slip a little, so may need some maintenance soon. TNLNSL. Thanks to The Lone Random for another part of the Willi history lesson!

Found by - H - and The Empire
26th of February, 2010
New to the official world of caching but have been involved since 17th of April 2009 (my first cache find). But have only just gotten a log name. Time to log all the wonderful caches that I have been finding since I have been caching with The Empire. My name in the log book is H.
Nice quick find after work on the way home.

Found today at 3:00pm. Saw this one come up at work and with cache notes printed out, was off like a flash. Got to GZ only to find that there were other people looking for what I came here for (FTF). With the GPS playing up and trying to locate satellites I thought I would have a chat to Robmc and T'Head as I had not met them before, but they had other idea's and so would have I if the GPS was working. Great to met you both, Thanks The Lone Random.

It is lucky that this bridge still exists. For a long time it was rotten and falling down. Fortunately, it has been rebuilt. I expected the cache to be on the bridge ie: Troll like, but that was not the case.
As I walked up there was one suspicious character walking back and forwards on the trqck, and another talking to a security guy up on the road. When you know what to look for, cachers stand out like... well they do stand out.
We combined our efforts and soon had the cache in hand.
We then spent a fair bit of time chatting. Good to meet you guys.
Thanks, Robmc.

Just left Themd's first hide in W/bee and this was published , so off to wiily . As I arrived at GZ , some what I thought were muggles were approaching me and I was thinking " don't you people know I'm looking for a geocache ftf " it turned out to be Robmc and Shane Thompson . Shane's gps had not kicked in yet and tried to make conversation until it did , but we thought we were looking for a ftf so it was every man for himself . while looking and saying " think like The Lone Random " Rob found the prize it was signed , while having a chat with the boys I spoke to Themd and said he had just left gz and he was the ftf . It is always great to bump into other cachers on GZ's that what is good about FTF's and geocaching - thankyou and thank you to The Lone Random for pointing out another piece of Willy's history

Found by The Empire + H
26/2/10 @ 4pm
Fifth to Find! I can be happy about that as it must have been nearly worthy of an event cache an hour ago! Found this one on my way home from work, took me a minute or two, nice camo! Thanks to The Lone Random!

2:45pm

Lucky for me I was in Newport when this popped up. 5 min down the road I spent another 15 looking and was about to give up when I thought mmmm. Nice locale, its been a while since a train passed down here and its great they never demolished the footbridge after having it closed for so long. Cheers to The Lone Random and sorry I missed the gathering not long after I'd left!! TFTC Smile
