Found the church but agree with previous comment. Disappointed to go all the way there but cannot go last few metres.
Temporarily disabled as it seems the public is no longer welcome.I may move to a spot outside the gate.
Both gates are locked with large padlocks, and there is no walking gate. The Conclusion we came to was they no longer want people to access the property.
The most beautiful spot I've yet seen round here. Thanks heaps for bringing me here. Found by martinx and joshwod. TFTC
Nice grave yard and we liked finding the geocache with my kids and my niece. Also a wonderful steep hill and we all liked being silly on the way up and we did heeps of games on the way there
Gate was locked so we walked the final stretch up the hill. An amazing chapel and graveyard still actively used. A special place to visit as my wife's family have connections to the main family burried here.
Thanks for bringing us here & a favorite point from us.

Out and about again, exploring the Porongurup’s with the family - highlight was the Castle Rock Skywalk. Then went to West cape Howe winery, made our way back to Mt Barker via caches.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

What an amazing location! Again, another spot I'd never have visited if not for geocaching. Jumoed the licked gate and headed up the hill. A quick find, then a look around the cemetery. A few Goundreys buried here, I assume from the winery family. Fave point naturally. Tftc
Beautiful bit of local history. We unlocked the gate and walked up the drive way.
Easy to find cache at a lovely old church full of history and well worth seeing. Tftc
What so beautiful and on the top. Extra day at albany. Found it and signed the log as EV and thanks for the cache and hunt.
Took the very long way around the Denmark and stopped to finally log this find. Thanks.
What a pretty chapel and what a great spot. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Day 4 of our trip southward & we opted for a less adventurous day with no hill climbs involved…. We loved visiting this beautiful little church We checked out the surrounds & even added our names to its “Logbook”, before heading on over to find the prize
Thanks for showing us this spot Team Carnage…. & TFTC [^]

Thanks for bringing us up here. We never would have knew it existed otherwise. Gorgeous little chapel with amazing views. The log actually has lots of space. People need to use both sides of the paper and don't use a whole page for their log - so rude.
What a glorious spot for a church and for a cache.
Why not respectfully visit the church and have a look around, it is an interesting part of our heritage.

Such a pretty little church. No need to enter the church yard or cemetery. Close the gates behind you.
Hi there Team Carnage.
We found your cache **"Going To The Chapel"** at 12:17:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 23864).
We're staying in Mount Barker over the Australia Day weekend and today we found 9 caches & DNF'd 1. What a wonderful and peaceful place. It seems we missed the service held this morning.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you Team Carnage for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Visited this sweet little chapel on a whim today after seeing a photo on Facebook last night. It’s so picturesque then of course I had to check if there was a cache nearby.
Thank you
Thank you
Mini-me: So much history and what a beautiful view. Liked looking around with mum.
First cache for a while for us and it was such a nice suprise to find this quaint little church. So good to see history preserved. Thankyou for such a magic spot. TNLN. TFTC.
On way from Barker to Denmark ......... big trip ! Decided to go via St Werburghs after watching a convoy of Ulysses motorcycles with police escourt leave town.
Gates were closed to the church on the hill, so we showed respect and walked up just as the local farmer/custodian turned up to prepare for a church service. Had a pleasant conversation about churches and things Tasmanian, took our leave and surreptitiously found cache, did records and replaced. First church member arrived just in time for us to open the gates

An easy find while the geospouse prowled the graveyard. A fascinating little church. Tftc
Beautiful church and beautiful location. Really enjoyed finding the cache and then enjoying the church and the scenery. TFTC
Wow. Thankyou for bringing us here. A great little chapel to look through while geokids found the cache. Tftc. Tnls
I was going to the chapel,
and I was not going to get married
This cache chase provided some decorative history of the Mount Barker region that had nothing to do with grapes.
Unless you count the sacramental wine
No wine on offer today as the chapel was closed.
So I enjoyed a stroll around and a quick cache find
TFTC in an interesting spot [^]

Will be awarding this cache a Fav Point because its a great unexpected spot and because it was the last cache that me and Loudy16 did after a busy wknd. Also broke alot of PB's....500 in total, most caches in a day and also the month, most consecutive days, most difficult terrain for me, did WA's first ever cache. Think thats it. Tftc
Beautiful church quick find TFTC!

Out on a little road trip to get some
Local caches that are just of the main highway and haven't had the time to detour off the highway prior. So here's up to barker for a pie from the bakery and then returned home along cheater pass road. Tftc tfth
