Finally made it back to this area. So many to do, so little time. Thanks to everyone who placed these many caches. Long day of finding and adventure.
skyzmom, sdkimo, sdscotto, and I made the find during a 17 hours power caching adventure in one vehicle that netted us approximately 463 caches. The log was marked with a purple colored footprint. Nice hide and T4T$...
Had a great time with JM1372, sdscotto and sdkimo working the Route 66 Power Trail series and some other nearby caches. JM1372 and I were able to finish what we had started on a previous trip, so it was a very good day. We left San Diego at midnight and started caching around 2am and didn't stop until around 6pm. We stamped with a purple foot on the log. Thanks to everyone who put these caches together so we could all have fun!
Spent another day in the area grabbing some caches in town and along Route 66. All the caches are in great shape and replacements weren't needed anywhere. Had to have lunch at the Bagdad Cafe. Neat people and one of the neatest caches we've done. Thanks to all the cache owners who have taken time to place caches for others to enjoy and believe me....we have!! TFTH
Done caching RT 66 for now, grabbed a couple caches with my girl & gcstraggler before leaving the area.
Picking up a few caches on or way home from a great visit to the area doing the series caches plus many more with gjg6. We had a great time. Thanks for the many caches. Now back to Utah. (------
First of the power series. Swapped coins. Took Bike Coin, left Badlands Coin. Thanks!

US12. Having pretty much finished the route 66 corridor, we headed over to the nearby power series. Quite a fun view of some of the installations. Thanks.
