Hide now completely exposed and the middle of a taped off construction area so unfortunately I am archiving this cache. Container has been removed from site. Thanks, Grundies.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
On our way down for the CITo event today we decided to stop in and have a look for this one, after pulling up in the street suggested we found a path that led to GZ. We arrived and found the cache in no time now to open... well the tool provided was not to helpful nor was anything we had as it appears the access methods have been worn down. We eventually managed to open the container and retrieve the log

Lovely hide! Tools supplied did not work but had my own toolkit with me so did not have to run back to the car first. TFTC grundies.
Geo Girls, Geo Mum and I (Geo Dad) were first thrown by the description of this one but with the pre warning of IPS in it and our now growing skill with IPS tracked the cache down.
Now our next problem how on earth do we get it open Geo Mum thought she had it but to no avail.
Luckily for us I had a special cache removal tool in the car so headed back and returned with success in minutes.
Nice Hide Grundies but boy their making a mess in this area.

I eventually found my way into this one. And found the container lying on the ground. It appears to have come adrift from it's support. Needs some TLC. SL. TFTC grundies.
Found today with Gunnie69,
Gunnies as usual spot on planning had us close to GZ 1st up so after a short walk cache was to hand...(novel container here)

This cache was a little close to the highway so I felt I had to check the entry point prior to arrival. Good job I did as the SatNav would have had us coming in from the other side... Actually, the SatNav did try to bring us in from the other side...
Once that was corrected, we had no trouble with locating GZ and securing the find.
Cheers grundies.

Nice quick find in a good area. Had a false start as GPS tried to get me to park on the highway - which would not be safe - and involve climbing 2 3m high walls! SL TFTC
This was a very clever hide. Thankfully noticed something that seemed a little out of place, otherwise I might have been wandering around for a while. Thanks for the cache, it was well worth the visit.
16th of 20 today with two of my Geokids, the twins this time, James as always and Jemma, who really took a shine today to doing "Swaps" for toys. they had a ball "Treasure Hunting" on the golden coast. Short walk and short hunt. Have seen a few similar down south. Would get a lot of people though. TFTC.
Mr Gap thought that we could just swing past quikly on the way home to pick this one up - a nice clever hide & just the right implement resting nearby too not sure if that was supposed to be there but it did the trick TFTC
Went out with Ms Wig to find this one... did some very special navigation to get to the right spot. Hunted around for a while, I saw the implement before finding the cache... and thought that was odd... then when saw the cache, it all fell into place.
Thanks grundies, very clever!!
Thanks grundies, very clever!!
we found this one after a small walk but once at cache we realised that we needed something different for this one lucky I came prepared. TNLN TFTC
I too had been meaning to return to this one for ages. Last time I attempted this one the light was failing, it was very very wet, and I did not have the required tool. This time all the planets lined up for a find. Left a couple of little magnets to play havoc with things. Ah the sonorous sound of a cache slipping back into its hiding place. TFTC Grundies..
Ride pass this spot everyday on my way to work. Was looking at the wrong side for ages. Great little cache. SL TFTC
Love this type of hide had to go back to the car to get a tool. Took tb . TFTC

I had a short stroll to this novel cache and was mighty glad that an extraction tool was left handily nearby.
I have always liked these types of caches.
Thanks

This was cache # 13 of 26 on day six of my QLD trip. A nice hide I was glad I always carry my own extraction tools, My thanks to grundies for the cache.
Wow what a great one! very good. Yes I got the smell from a bakery as described.... of freshly cooked finger buns. Lovely walk. Dropped off a travel racer/bug!
Called by after a visit to Bunnings
Most greatful to Herbz, otherwise this cache would have been far more onorous and yes a return trip to Bunnings would have been in order.
I thought I was already experienced with Gold Coast caches, knowing that I needed to always carry an extraction tool with me, but this took it to a whole new level.
GPS initially had me about five metres away and scratching my head until I started thinking like a cacher and then it was readily located.
Thanks for a great cache.

Nice one Grundies! We would have been proud of this hide. Found fairly easily but getting to the log proved more of a challenge. A quick dash back to the geomobile was in order, where fortunatly we had a goodly supply of cache extraction tools to hand. So many in fact we decided, being the community spirited cachers that we are, to leave an extraction tool hidden not a great distance from the cache location. Thus adding a further dimension to this great hide and possibly saving a trip to Bunnings! - knowing the Grundies, however, this was possibly the real inspiration for this cache anyway. If so we will happily remove it. TVMFTC.
Spent a good while trying to drive close to this one, and ended up walking from the second closest parking spot. Glad I didn't park too far away as the "Herbz tool" wasn't in place when I found the cache. TN/LN/SL and cursed you roundly for the extra couple of hundred metres .
Forgot about the Diabetes TB I left ... here it is.
Geez, ya wouldn't want to live near that road. The Friday afternoon symphony was horrendous .

Not being local it was great to be given the heads up on the street needed to do this cache. SL TFTC
Found on our short visit to this area today. It would be nice of the owner to let you know that you need a phillips head screwdriver to open this cache. We were fortunate that we had one in the car, but now that we have read other logs everyone else has needed to go and acquire the tool from somewhere else and come back. What harm is there in the owner letting you know this, we nearly walked away from it with a to heck with it attitude. SL
After finding we had a trip to bunnings for an extraction tool before returning to sign log. Very good hide, hadn't seen one like this before. SL TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1350. Found a good entry point. Spotted the cache quickly, as we've seen several similar hides. Had to duck back to the car for a suitable tool. Our thanks once more to Grundies.
Nice cache & we had a multi tool with us that provided the correct one for extraction. TFTC
Found it with ALL7. Didnt bring anything with me... lucky ALL7 is handy for me to find it.

I first stopped the car where the GPS indicated and then decided to relocate after I read the cache description.
Luckily I did. It was so much easier from the new parking spot.
A short stroll along some wet paths and I arrived at the location.
The cache was evident as soon as I arrived and luckily I was carrying an extraction tool.
A great hide. Well done.

OK I know where it is, I've diagnosed the condition, and I'll be back with the appropriate surgical instrument to perform the operation. Tried to find it last night in the rain which was silly but then there's always hope...........By the way the path was very slippery today with water still running in some places. Be careful.
Oh bugger CHEEKY YOU!!!!! hee hee!!!!!!!!!!!! Im silver 2nd..... congrats AUSSIE LIAHONA!!!!!!!! cheers...
Second visit to this one. Clever hide Grundies. This time I had the right extraction "tool" and with the help of Fangsoki we knocked it over in no time.

That's it for Team RadnoFang for the day. (8 finds for the day including some really challenging caches and some great little spots in QLD and NSW)

FTF at 9:16am Wow! This is our 350th cache. Yay! A milestone! Tried to get on to Geocaching.com and it was down for maintenance. How frustrating when you're trying to get a cache. Finally they were back on line and I was in the car. Tricky, yes, tricky. Tom Tom wanted me to go down Smith Street. Thank goodness I'd read the cache page. As often happens I was racing for the co-ords and didn't give them a chance to catch up with me so parked a lot further away than I needed to. Got to GZ area and had a good look around. Checked GZ, then co-ords said a few metres away so moved, couldn't see anything. Went back. Accessed the cache and put our moniker down as FTF! Thanks for the new cache GRU(?)DIES. lol. you must have been rushed too. TNLNSL. (Sorry, I would have added a geocoin, but in my rush to leave forgot to take it with me).
