Really should keep my pocket query up to date. Didn't check the logs before leaving home, and my GPS only had the logs from people who had found this one. Spent 15 minutes searching. Found lots of typical geocaching camouflage, but no cache. Excavated quite a lot of gravel just to be sure it hadn't been buried. Pretty sure it is no more.
Still a lovely warm afternoon to be on the beach.
Thanks
Still a lovely warm afternoon to be on the beach.
Thanks
Almost 100% confident the cache has been muggled.. Found a great spot for a cache to be hidden, but no cache...
If owner drops me a message with his email, I can send a photo of where I think it was so they can determine if its there or not.
This location had a special meaning to us.. A year ago we saw a bunch of kids here playing and swimming in the ocean and it was that that promted us to have kids.. And today we are back there 5 days overdue

This should have been an easy one but no so today for us. Wondering whether recent have rain as noted by servere scouring around GZ may have affected cache?? Will come again some day
Couldn't locate this one, and wonder if recent heavy rains have washed out the cache site? It is possible that "man eyes" just didn't spot!. Beautiful evening on the beach, with a bright red sunset.
After a week of rain it was nice to get out for a walk along the beach. Just a few muggles plus dogs. Tipped the water out of the cache, the logbook was a little damp but OK.

Beach and street was deserted today so it was an easy find without worrying about muggles. Nice sized contained. However, log book was rather damp and there was a bit of water inside the cache and all the contents were wet. Removed water from the container and tried to dry it up as best we could. TNLN. Thanks The Lyricals for the cache.
The beach was quite pleasant to visit today. Found the cache instantly, as I could see it, and in fact it was highly visible if approaching from the beach. Left it covered up to reduce the muggling risk.

A quick easy fond, with nzcoozer, on a nice day at this picturesque beach. There were 2 people fishing directly below the cache. TFTC
I cant remember when I did this cache, but was checking my GPS and saw it there and then realised that I had already done this one some time back, LOL, didn't even realised that I had forgotten to log it, oh well better late than never. This is a really nice spot to place a cache, thank goodness that I did it mid week and there was no muggles about but the day I did it I remember the beautiful views of Kapiti in the mid morning sun. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC TNLNSL (1830)
quick find by the Jr PBH's during a school holiday caching afternoon in Kapiti. views of kapiti island were awesome today. TNLN SL TFTC
A quick find, to the muggle eye the cache is now quite well hidden, but to the geocachers eye its reasonably clear where it is. The log book was quite damp, I put in a bag from my Geokit bag, hopefully it will dry out a bit. TNLN SL TFTC
A nice quick find. Took out the bubble mix and cleaned up the cache abit. Added a couple of moisture absorbing thingie too. Cache-Kid very pleased with the Hurricanes laces. Left some other goodies. Abit hard to make sure cache is totally hidden but, after dodging a couple of muggles, got there in the end. TFTC
I am visiting from Arizona - out caching with my brother. Swapped TB's. Thanks for the hide!
beaut view today...very busy beach....calm.....as other cachers have said...rethink placement urgently...5 metres to the south would do....
A nice easy find with Boogie-O - the cache is damp and sticky from one of the items leaking.
TFTC - always nice to find one close to home

Found this yesterday, but didn't try to log it as too many young muggles were in the area. Back today with dragonsinger for a quick grab and log. TNLNSL. TFTC.
contents a bit damp -the bubble mix was leaking. Tightened it as much as possible.

"I must go down to the sea again "came to mind ( apologies to some poet from my school days) as Little Blue Hen and self ventured down to the Raumati Beach once more as we are want to do on a Saturday morning. Nice to see a new cache locally. Visibility issue well documented, we replaced with extra driftwood to cover the cache as it was easily seen as one mounted the steps. TFTCSL
"Now this is a different place for a walk" I thought as Bkj97 veered off the main drag. "Aha a new cache" as we exited the car. Quick find as he sat down on the job. Scratched about for new driftwood to cover from prying eyes. TFTCSL
Needs urgent camouflaging as it is extremely obvious. Have already seen and overheard muggles questioning what it is and why it has been left there. I am happy to do this as I am less than 40m from cache, but need owners approval.
Got to GZ just as muggles approached from beach so continued past and walked out onto beach where cache was easily visible. Grabbed cache once muggles left only to be muggled again whilst signing log. However this muggle turned out to be a fellow cacher ( it was great to meet you ) who helped cover cache back in place described in the hint.

Have moved back to "the first step" and covered it as it was very visible to muggles where it was.
[Nice easy cache, 50m from my front door! Met some lovely cachers there too ]
