In Leeds following the Australian Cricket team for a couple of tests and with the Headingly match finishing a day early, I had a day to wander around for a few caches, and this Web Cam was my first stop. Arranged with a mate back home to snap the required photo and e-mail it me.

Around 10.30 am on the bank holiday and there was no-one else in the square, so that's me out there all by myself.

Thanks Billy Bremmer for the Web Cam, we don't get many of them now days.

Out in Leeds today with the intention of doing the Webcam. We got to near GZ to find where we needed to be was fenced off for the Festival. We tried to find somewhere to stand where we would be in the webcam view with no luck. In the end we spoke to one of the security stewards about the problem we were having and she kindly let us in behind the barriers so that we could get an image with us in it. We are the 2 people stood by the blue truck where I have marked a circle. Thanks for this webcam cache.

Had to drive through the centre of Leeds today & add my first meeting had been postponed an hour, had some time! Took a while to find some (free) parking, but eventually found a spot a short walk away & made my way into the square. Most of it was barriered off, but I can be seen in the photo between the golden statue & the grey cabins. Thanks for keeping this one going.

Today we're heading back home from Scotland to Wales. Challenge for today was to find caches in 18 counties. We made a list and went on the road. The first caches went easy, quick finds and slowly the list became shorter. Until the Scottish Border we found all the caches on our list. Once we were in England things slowed down a bit. Luckily we picked several caches to have some extra if we don't find the first cache on the list. We needed the extra's several times. We didn't take a whole lot of time looking for the once we didn't find and I won't log a DNF for those.

We got home around 2:30 with 20 caches in 18 counties. Challenge met, all we have to do know is log everything.

It was a bit of a challenge to get our picture taken here. We couldn't access the square because of an event. We walked behind the stage and stood in between the 2 large poles. We're not very clearly visible but we (me and EmuStat) are there.

Chudley Cannons thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.

After the Mega Aberdeenshire we spent a few days in Peebles.
Today we will drive back from Carlisle to Cambridge.
We looked for some older and/or other interesting caches on our route.
We couldn’t leave this oldest webcam cache!
The square is closed off because of an event next week so I was a bit worried I couldn’t access the square.
Luckily one gate was still open.
I have drawn a red circle around myself to make me more visible.

Thank you for keeping this old one !

Today we're heading back home from Scotland and the Aberdeenshire Mega to Wales. We have set ourselves the challenge to find caches in 18 counties in one day. We made a list and went on the road. The first few caches were easy, quick finds and slowly the list became shorter. When we arrived at the Scottish Border we had found all the caches on our list. But once we were in England things slowed down a bit. Luckily we had picked several caches to have some spares just in case we couldn't find the first cache on the list. We needed those extras several times. But we have to say we didn't take too much time looking for the ones we didn't find and we won't log a DNF for those.
We arrived home around 2:30 with 20 caches in 18 counties. Challenge met, all we have to do now is log everything.

It was quite a challenge to get our picture taken here. It was impossible to get access to the square because of an event. We walked looked at the webcam picture on the website and decided to walk around and try our luck behind the stage and we went to stand in between the 2 large posts. Unfortunately we are not clearly visible but we (Mirdj and Mrs EmuStat) are there.

We couldn't miss this rare webcam and took fotos (indeed this ist much easier than my first Webcam at Paris in the old days!)A quick meet and greet, somehow.
Thanks so much for the owner's work to keep this alive.
On the way back from UK MEGA in Aberdeen by car to Switzerland, we've chosen only a few caches along the route, mainly special ones. These are some church micros, old virtuals, EC of all sorts, and some traditionals that are just nearby our stops.
Very interesting places have been shown to us, many thanks to all owners and geogreetings from Switzerland.
Visited together with *ra and the dogs.

Während der Tour "UK 2019" mit dem Camper-Bulli zusammen mit "eagleflight" fotografieren lassen.

Because of a music festival there is a fence around the place. The listing says everywhere the camera does take the picture.
So "eagleflight" and I are standing between the big building and the black tent behind the fence.
We can prove it by pictures from our place towards the Webcam if needed.

Wieder ein mehr auf der Geocaching Karte.
Dafür ein Danke an "Billy Bremner" für den Geocache "Leeds Web-Cam Cache" | gefunden am 12. August 2019 | um 14:01 Uhr (local time)

10th day of my 2019 UK caching trip. Early trip to Leeds before most people were out of bed to grab the oldest active Web Cam, Grabbed the last of the virtuals needs to finish a challenge signed at the start of the trip.Detoured to do the last cache required to complete my 20th loop of the DT grid and then spent the rest of the afternoon doing a few easier ones around the area.

This was one of the caches I found today.

The square is closed off but one of the gates was open as they were doing stuff early in the morning. Talked to the security guard and he was happy enough to let me stand beside him until the screen refreshed. Since the blob could be anyone took a self at the access gate to show I was actually there.

It’s always good to be able to complete a web cam and also one where getting the screenshot is relatively easy! We didn’t think we would be able to get into the right spot as the square appeared to be boarded up however we were pleased to be able to get ourselves on screen for the webcam and have attached the image accordingly! Many thanks for keeping this webcam alive.

Myself, MsPatt and Rambetta came here from the United States for an excellent adventure geocaching in the U.K. we have not been disappointed! That’s for bringing me here.

Packed my bags and headed for 2 MEGA Events AND a cache in every 'region' of the U.K., with 5472 and MsPatt.

Day 4 of our epic adventure, totally enjoying our trek along the winding roads if this beautiful country.

Highlighting the U.K. webcams, we found parking and made the trek to GZ. Spotted the camera, but our position was not good.
A stage area, fenced off, is where we needed to be - A very friendly guard allowed us in for the shot.

Great town too explore, wish we had more time to visit.

Thanks for adding to the adventure.

### VACATION UK 2019 DAY 1 ###

After crossing the sea last night we (Mrs_Moose, cachedog Finnley and I) first drove to Leeds. A visit to the oldest webcam cache in the world is a must! A short walk from the parking lot to GZ. The webcam was located quickly. The square was almost full with the installation of the Pride festival, which is scheduled later in the week. Still we found a spot which was accessible and in the range of the webcam.

We continued with a walk through the city centre. Passing city hall we had a good look and found the information required to log the virtual cache.

After lunch we drove south to meet with our son, his girlfriend and her parents. During a walk we passed several caches. Unfortunately only one could be found. "Barlow lees lane" was logged.

CO's, thanks for these caches and showing us some very nice places!

Square is not shared today. Freddo is right of image near base of white pole. I really tried hard. There are a couple more images at open locations across the rear but this was the best.
