Had a really good look but it seems this one is gone, given how good the hint was and both GPS units were pointing us in the same location.....
Searched extensively without success. Thanks anyway because the route I took to get this one was just lovely. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown en route from Bundaberg Qld to Perth WA via all of Tasmania.
Found during a three day visit to the beautiful East Tamar districts.
Yes, it is wonderful view of the Batman Bridge. Thanks for placing a cache here.

We stopped for a few caches on our way towards Low Head to meet some penguins with Viipu. The weather was somewhat rainy and misty so we had to drive considerably closer to actually see the Batman Bridge. But the cache we were able to find, even though we started with barking the wrong tree. Here we saw for the first time another flightless bird. I'm sure my little biologist will tell who it was. Looked brownish to me
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
The weather was pretty damp and grey when we drove towards Low Head with Giliad. Still we were holding our hopes up for seeing the famous bridge from this location. The hopes weren't fulfilled this time, but at least we got to see some local fauna: Tasmanian native hen and sheep! And for the comfort of a rainy day we managed to log this cache right after reading the hint.
Thank you for the cache and greetings from Finland!
Thank you for the cache and greetings from Finland!
Busted by fellow Sunday searchers - I don't think they bought that 3 of us all needed a pee in the same spot... TFTC
My intention today had been to cache up the east bank of the Tamar, eventually crossing at the Batman Bridge to cache homeward along the west bank. Unfortunately it got darker sooner than planned, and I had progressed slower than intended. Having cached up from Launceston and crossed the Bridge around dusk, I did only a couple on the other side, when I realised I had totally missed the town of Hillside on the eastern bank.
I crossed back over and headed to Hillwood, grabbing this one quickly on the way through, eventually grabbing a few back in Launceston for a daily tally of 45. TFTC

Hi flange 1&tribe
Today was the second day of a two caching expedition with Budgietas and Cheesy Pigs. Yesterday was fine and just what you want for caching. However, today we woke only to find the weather conditions totally the opposit of yesterday - pouring with rain. Not good for caching and not even good for the ducks!
Yesterday, I left Huonville at 0700hrs, met up with the two other finders and left for Launceston about 0900hrs. Today, left Western Junction round 0645hrs and went for breakfast at Maccas. Cached all day and got back to Huonville on the first of November at 2340hrs. A great trip and I extend my thanks to Budgie and Cheesy for making it a memorable couple of days. Thanks to CraigRat for organising the event on the 31st of October.
This cache was my 10th for the day:
This was a great hide. The views were very good here. The "guard" on this cache is very interesting; "Bah Bah Bah!" Thank you!
The weather is now being kinder to us than it was earlier this morning.
The cache was found, the log signed and container returned to its hide at 0923hrs.
From here it was off to find "Auld Kirk."
Day two had me find fifty-one caches, yesterdays caching produced fourty-one finds for me, total of 92 for the entire trip. I got a personal best for finds in a day again today and I think Cheesy set new one again today too.
Thanks for the cache
Cheers OldSaint.

A great view of the bridge from here, grabbed the cache, signed the log but took nohing and left nothing, TFTC
Lovely spot to view the bridge and countryside. Some concerns about the resident sheep. TNLN TFTC.
Found at 1.35pm while taking the scenic route to Low Head. Counted carefully then found the well hiden cache. Good spot. TFTC
While using the Batman Bridge camp as a base to leave the caravan this was one of the caches we were able to do. Nice one. thanks FLANGE_1&TRIBE
Visiting from the UK with my brother, just the right spot for our first view of the bridge. Thanks for the hide
Week 4 of a month's holiday in Tassie - Finally, i have time to do some caches before i go home! TFTC TNLN

"9th what" I hear you say. Well you will know it when you get there!! Good hide. Didnt even need the GPS. Dropped in T/B Four Friends, which I brought back from SA yesterday. TFTC TNLN
Today's caching adventure took me on these most scenic drives, firstly north along the east coast, then south down the west coast of the Tamar. What a lovely drive, beautiful day, beautiful scenery, gardens in full bloom, a wonderful afternoon - and no DNFs!
As this was such a quiet road decided to park across from GZ. Luckily there was only one car pass the time I was there. A nicely hidden cache and a quick find thanks to the hint. Thanks for the hunt flange 1&tribe.

We were really enjoyingour morning drive up the eastern side of the Tamar Valley. Still, misty morning and caches delivering magnificent viewing points. This one was no exception.

Lovely drive along the eastern side of the river. This surely was a lovely spot. The river was so glassy today with low lying cloud giving a moody feel.

Was cruising past when Uncle Tom pointed me in this direction for a cache. Nice quick cache with views of the bridge. TFTC!
This was my first find for Tassie... I beat Nowhere2Bseen to it (well he's letting me think that anyways!), but managed to end up a bit sticky . TFTC and the nice view of the bridge.
Sent MissyLJ in for this one... Made her think it was a race (he he), Anyway she gets line honours for this one. Dropped off Callum here to continue his voyage

Found but only after a search. Paperless caching with GPS only can be a pain sometimes.
[font=Comic Sans MS][green]Nice view on the way north

Oh! the Pines, how the wind sings a hollow note through crusty limbs and your knobby cones roll under foot, enough of that crap. Easy find after working out not to count fence posts. Took nothing left nothing. Great view up river.
Hint works if you don't count the really skinny one. Took ball, left guitar pick. TFTC
nice coloured cache container, but not to sure on crossing the road on a blind corner.
It was nice to look back at the bridge from here.
Good clue and great location for a cache.
Thanks

A great view of Batman - that engineering feat never ceases to amaze us. TNLN, TFTC
I agree it would be a difficult find without resorting to the clue - my GPSr had me in the middle of the road. Using the clue and guessing which end to count from, the cache was quickly located and extracted from its nice dry home. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Someone asked me the other day if I can read [:(!] of course I can! but it appears I cant count!
Once again top views, thanks for the cache flange_1&tribe

A nice quick stop on the side of the road, and once I managed to get the cache out of the hidey hole, it was easy Cheers Gav [6173]
Luckily I counted from the right end first up!! Had the cache in no time. Great hiding spot and great view of the Bridge.
Took Geocoin to move it on.

Like B2 I also counted both ways. A nice easy find and another fab view. TNLN. Thanks again F1&T
Went straight to it...nice nook and cranny to hide...should last for ages. Very enjoyable drive around the shore and neat view of 'The Bat'. Many thanks again F&T...Cheers.
One of three found on our way home after a days geocaching at George Town. Took pig magnet & left soldier. TFTC
On the road to 300…
3rd cache on the list today, a quick find here using the clue but I was wondering why the cache would have been placed here until I turned around and looked down the river……BATMAN AHEAD indeed…. And what a awesome view of it from this location…
