My creative instincts just aren't there at the moment - hope someone else puts a fabulous cache here.
Need to check if this is still here, looked around for quite a while, looks like a tree was recently tanbarked, wondering if cache went at same time.
So it's been three months since a find and none has looked pfft log ur dnfs please. It's well and truly gone
Stopped in, uncertain whether or not I'd found it before. Well I remembered when I got here, but signed the new log again anyway. Discovered two PTs, took Melbourne Tram keychain and left Madaline TB. Thanks again, listmaker.
ps. A fat TB meant the soldiers have to perch outside and guard GZ. Please put them back inside when you take the TB.

Found this one today after a wander along the Koonung Trail. It is amazing area though I couldn't see much of it at night and the frogs/toads were the only wildlife that I could hear. This one had me going round in circles for a while and I may have dropped a swap near the cache (though I couldn't find anything when I looked!) so if the next person finds it please swap it or return it to the cache. Signed log but didn't swap anything.
Thanks for the cache listmaker.

First to christen the new logbook! A nice ride along the bike trail to get a few caches!
All fixed, contents and log book replaced. Thanks for the heads-up.
Even put the picture back...one of those things I forgot about when closing my yahoo account.

I was on my way to French classes with a little time to spare so I thought I would grab one more cache for the day. Parked the car and made my way across the park towards the cache. Found the cache, now where is my pen? Still in then car! No pen or pencil in the cache so hide the cache, back to the car, get my pen, back to the cache, sign the log, hide the cache again, back to the car again and on my way. Oh well, I could do with the exercise .
Thanks Listmaker for putting this cache here. I had no idea that there was such a wonderful park here. I will be back to collect all the other nearby caches.

I know I should finish the job that I'm in the middle of, but stuff it... the sun's shining, it's not too hot, and I'm looking forward to the prospect of quality time with the kids for another week. So it's time for the first bike ride of the year, hitting some of the caches I've been deliberately saving for a trundle along the Koonung Creek.
It was easy to pick which approach I needed to reach this first cache, nicely out of view of prying eyes. Cheers.

Been on my list for a while, so good to get a quiet and quick find this morning

So much variety on my walk today. I enjoyed the wetlands and spotted lots of tadpoles in the water. Also found an interesting object on the fence near GZ-thank goodness that wasn't the cache..... Thanks for a lovely walk. Unfortunately no TBs are present even though 2 are logged in this cache.
An easy find on my way from dropping off the car for a service and meeting my cycling pals at Warringal Park. It was a bit exposed so I covered it up a bit. Thanks listmaker.
Found it easily, after a pleasant walk with %GeoHawkSnr%, took nothing but left one of my favourite Mighty-beans. TFTC
Thought this was a close hide to pick up after completing Wave Rock just over the road. Nice day for a walk after the heat yesterday. TFTC

Walked here from the 2003 cache, had the place to myself and only needed a few minutes to navigate across the bridges and spot the cache. Plenty of frogs croaking at me as I wandered about.
Great cache, went searching at nite and couldn't find it, went back in the day and realized we basically stood on it. was nothing in there though so we left a gold button. Shell and sab out.
Found while meeting friends with the kids in the park. Lovely spot! Thanks listmaker.

CamBendy and I managed a night of from our familial duties so we could "get a few". This was one of 23 for the night. As we approached GZ Cam tried to follow his direct bearing. My map view suggested we'd get wet feet if we waded right through the lake. Cam agreed walking around would be better. Found the cache in a classic hide. TFTC.

This was a lovely secluded spot and I enjoyed the walk around the wetlands. It was funny to be in this native fauna area with the sound from the freeway nearby. Thanks listmaker for the cache.
Cold wet day with no muggle activity made it easy to find, but the drizzle made it hard to sign the log.
We take the geobeagles to this section of the Koonung Trail fairly often so I had a fair idea as to the location of the cache. On a warm day the beagles love to have a paddle at the dog 'beach', a little bit further along.
I found the hide fairly easily and quickly and then signed the log at 4:30pm. TNLN, although some trackables had a visit to mark the occasion. Pleae note that neither of the listed trackables was in this cache. Thanks listmaker for putting a cache in such a lovely spot, although I couldn' believe the traffic noise.

Great location with swap hen, water weed and lots of muggles doing some form of exercise. I was in suit but tried to blend in! Nice quick find in an expected spot. TFTC SL
Nice hide. Few muggles around. TFTC

Found on a day off work on my way to the flash mob. Luckily the mower had been finished near gz. Thanks listmaker for the easy find.
Found with Rebel Acts on one of our caching days, this was a nice walk to find the cache. Thanks
This one has been haunting me every time I drive down the freeway, so it was good to finally take the walk and find the cache. Thanks listmaker for the cache.

Caching in Mont Albert North today. Last cache of the day before tired ol' me start walking down to Doncaster Road and taking a tram home. By this time I was already really tired from all the walking. Thankfully it was a quick find. TFTC listmaker
P.S Nothing can be more satisfying than having my 600th find on my friend's cache.

Continue on from finding another cache near by to find this one in a nice simple hide. Left TB "Rock to Rock" as I have held onto it for too long, and as this cache is newish I sure it will travel on soon. Nice area for caches. TFTC listmaker.

Found this cache with Vicki. Nice area. I'm glad I had my new mapping GPS (Father's Day present). My old GPS, nicknamed "Lemming", would have had me walk through the lake to get to this cache.
Thanks, listmaker.
Thanks, listmaker.
15/09/2011 23:57 I wanted a quick-ish pickup tonight and thought this would fit the bill. I nice late night walk with headlamp, and two hand torches had me walking to GZ past an auto-toilet with its red light blinking. (Red means closed apparently). I grew up near here but it was mainly scrub and a creek back then so it's interesting to see the whole new 'wetlands' theme. Arriving at GZ, I let the GPS settle and soon enough the hide showed itself to me and I was stamping and signing the log.

found #327 @9:10am great walking trail I shall have to do some further exploration of the area TFTC!
A nice walk through a magnificent park to get to this one, and the secluded GZ was clear while I signed the log at 9:20am. After finishing, I had only got up and walked about 5m from GZ when a dog bounded up to me - with an owner not far behind. Fortunately they were not a bit earlier.

headed off with geo 7 & 8. promised them cool parks today, and there was one near here. they even loved the gym equipment along the path. took 5cents and a small torch. left a star magnet and 2 wacky bands. 1st of 5 today.[:x]
Got this one on a bike ride up the Koonung Trail. Got a strange look from a dog walking muggle while emerging from the bush putting a biro away. TFTC!
On a mission to rack up as many as possible today so checked the map and parked on the other side of the freeway and walked over the footbridge. TFTC
In a bit of a hurry but had to get my cache for the day and this was just near street orienteering. Thankfully was a nice easy pick up and the GPS (android) worked ok under the trees. I trotted back to the car in the dark and went to turn on my other (wrist) GPS ready for running and realised that it had fallen out of my pocket on the way back. So I went back again and thankfully found it easily on the path. It was a shame not to have done this one in the day because I couldn't see much. TFTC listmaker - I can tick it off my list
Wetlands are looking great with new bridges. Cache is off the main drag so lots of muggles with dogs were well away and the cache was soon located and the log signed.
I got up early today and decided to try a new tactic for today’s cache, headed out to find it before work. It was a bit chilly, but a nice time of day, without many muggles around. Attempted to find a simple multi cache, but failed due to rather ordinary coordinates and time restraints meaning I could not spend hours searching an enormous area. So I headed over to this very pleasant park (despite the traffic) and wondered through to the GZ. Had very wet boots by the time I got there, maybe taking the path would have been a better idea. Noticed some very brave ducks jumping in to what must have been a freezing cod lake for a swim, all in all a great spot for a morning walk. The bonus being I was also able to grab a cache. Got to the GZ and after a quick search found the cache, thanks to accurate coordinates, and a logical cache hiding spot. The cache is in good condition, though the only swap in there is a little soldier who really wants out, he jumped out of the cache about 5 times while I was trying to get the log book signed! Finally got him to stay in, but he even got in the way when I tried to put the lid back on! Thanks for the cache listmaker.
Bike riding along the Koonung Trail for the first time.
Did not have my usual GPS equipment with me so I
used my phone to look for some caches.
Nice hide in beautiful wetlands.

Had been meaning to pick this one up for awhile and to ite was it. Got to the cache then realized I broke a golden rule.... Didn't bring a pen. So back to the car then returned to officially log it!

Took the MTB for a ride over the dirt paths to get to this one, noisier route but no problems with early evening muggles roaming around. Great place for a cache TNLNSL TFTC
Took a quick trip to Melbourne and decided to take a walk on the park and discovered that this cache was nearby. Thanks for a great walk in the park on a beautiful day.
A little bit awry with the coords, but after a couple of false starts stumbled across cache in likely spot. Took tags, left golf tee. TFTC

It was a very pretty walk from Koonung Trail Revamped, but very noisy as well!!
The area that the cache is hidden in is absolutely lovely and we will definately be back!!
We were FTLINL - First to log in new location
Unfortunately my camera batteries had run out 2 caches ago so I wasnt able to take any photos but as I said we do plan to come back here!
The cache and swaps were in excellent condition but we TNLNSL

Another night caching run with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671). Didnt realise it was down until logging it.Cache is melted but there was just enough room on the log book which was undamaged to sign our names. TFTC. Nice spot even in the dark.
Met up with Blacklegend17 to do another one of our night cache runs. Didn't notice this was down until filling out the log entry. I can see why though, the container and much of the contents reduced to a melted mess; anyway the the log was still writeable so signed and rehid. TFTC.
I thought the concrete would have offered a bit more fire protection than that!!
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll look for a less fire-prone area to put the replacement.

Out caching on Grand Final Day with 80Degrees.
It took a while to find this cache until we saw it lying on the ground all melted.
Was still able to find some area to write our names on the cache.
We were also able to get back to the car just in time to hear the end of the Grand Final.

Today only the obvious remains of the cache are left. Think cache definitely needs to be replaced.
Well sort of - Found at 5.05pm on our day out and about with Toy Car. After a little search we found the remains of the cache. It seems someone had set it on fire causing the container and its contents to become a molten mess. Still we managed to find a spot on the back of the log to record our visit. Thanks for bringing us to this spot.
My GPS was misbehaving on this one and encouraging me to jump a fence & plunge into the water. Luckily I had the experienced Squalid by my side to dissuade me from such foolhardiness. So we found the invisible cache, TTFN.
We loved this - I just stared straight at the cache and didn't see it. Sometimes you have to touch things, I should know that by now with geocaching. We were surprised at how noisy the park is - you can't see any cars but you can sure hear them. Perhaps there were a lot of people out and about today. Found with cute66, TFTC.
this is my first cache, thanks for planting it.
I left a pencil sharpener and took a money clip.
