Cache is being disabled until I get back to Townsville in a fortnight. Cache was there a week ago when I checked it.
This one will reappear harder than it orinally was.

Didn't find again. Did find three real ones in pieces around the area. Us cachers need to make sure we put them back together properly if we pull them apart trying to find the hide.
This cache needs replacing. Knew exactly what to grab this time (found out what and where) but... It's not there. The gardens are getting destroyed from searching so do this quick or archive
I looked at every thing that I could think off, but with no luck.
The only thing out of place was me cause the council work cam over to ask what I was doing?

I was passing by and thought I'd drop in for a look. I am pretty sure I knew what I was looking for but I couldn't see it. A PAF confirmed a lot later, had I known back then I may have looked a bit harder. I think it may be harder to find than it was when it was first placed. Next visit to Townsville...
After a brain melt down at Smash your abs, I was not confident going in to this one.
Again a DNF and again a cache that must be very sneakily hidden.
Again a DNF and again a cache that must be very sneakily hidden.
Was left walking in circles as pass-er-bys just starred... hahaha, found myself imagining very unlikely hides
Went and checked cache after a string of DNF's. Cache is still in place awaiting discovery. If help is required just message me.
Again, the three of us had a fairly good hunt for this but we weren't able to find it. Cheers Gav
Had a quick look for this one but the geotoddler had had enough after a fruitless search at 'Smash the Abs' previously and now here. Maybe next time we are in town. Thanks anyway AmmoTech502
I was staying overnight with a friend right nearby so it was pretty exciting to find 7 new caches so close. So I went on a tour of Kalynda's jogging track and parks and it turned out that this was the only one that I had downloaded correctly to the gps. Lucky! Nice little cache in a quiet spot on a perfect crisp Townsville morning. Thanks Ammo Tech Hope I get the chance to look for the others on another visit - and I'll be sure to download everything correctly next time!
I used to have one of these in Tasmania! "Return of the UFO", long archived. Always meant to do another to replace it.
Log needs some attention, is starting to disintegrate.
Thanks

Decided to do some caches after coming home from the event. This time I found it.

This was the last of the series for me, and I really enjoyed them, thanks AmmoTech502. I stood around at GZ for a couple of minutes perusing, before espying the cache. I took it back to the car, and then the fun began!
A muggle worker had been mowing the lawn some distance away, then came up this end while I was at the car on the other side of the road. He seemed to be making his way back down the grass again so I waited him out. Before I knew it, he had hopped off his mower and came over towards the car. He didn't say anything but took my registration number!
A discussion ensued (initiated by me) about why he was taking my number "in case something happens"! I played the (legitimate) birdwatching card which I often have prepared although I am not sure if he really believed it. We parted on apparently friendly terms, but I still had the Cache!
More than an hour later I returned and he was still there! I parked about 100m away in the other side of the scrub to think. Fortunately he just then drove off and I quickly replaced the cache, which now had a dried log, and an extra container which should keep it dry.
A good cache, but beware the gardeners! They are a suspicious lot. Maybe stuff has been stolen?

Great hide Ammotech! Attention to detail paid off and we had the booty in hand. The log is a little damp but still usable! Thanks for a great hunt and all the work you have put into this series of caches.
Another one I have to leave for a daylight hunt. It's hard to not to look suspicious if you shine your torch around in a park at night, staying in the same spot .
Found at 1200 pm. looked for a little while then the clue hit me. I have seen these before and knew what to do.

Jeez AmmoTech502 you're co-ords are way off, found the cache about 30 meters away! Log was so soggy I couldn't sign it! And you call that a container! It's a joke! No, seriously, it is a joke APRIL FOOL!!!! Co-ords are in fact spot on and cache is in pristine condition. Thanks for another clever hide.TNLNSL.
Geosister spotted this one. Don't see enough of these hides around! Only the second one i have seen. TFTC AmmoTech502
This one was great, have heard about this type of cache but this was my first. Plan to use this one myself at a later date. Let's hope nobody comes out to conduct any maintenance!

A quick find on the last one around here, but only a 66% success rate for the 5 in the area.. Seen many of these down south....and the clue certainly helped.
Thanks for this one.
Thanks for this one.
Love this one. Found quickly but now appreciate the whole concept and description even more.
Decided to grab this one before our volleyball game. Got to the GZ and had an idea of what the cache could be analysing the clue and the description. Looked fo a few minutes and in different locations followed the GPS again and what do you know it was the cache. Nice one Ammotech great hide this will keep the fellow cachers guessing !!!! TNLN Thanks for another great cache !!
I had an appointment close-ish to GZ late this morning......no rush, thought the first to find would have been snapped up early this morning. My appointment went over time, and then we stopped off to get lunch on the way which made for a good decoy. (A few tradies doing there thing near GZ) Read over description and hint again. It was quite hot in the sun which maybe made us think quicker about the cache.....BAM found the clever cache, and to our surprise a FTF!!!!
Keep the inventive caches coming!
