First searched in the wrong place, but then found quickly when doing as the hint said.Intetesting place, thanks,
Found this old relic with my old relic before I went to learn about greenstone from Tangi. What an amazing morning. Thank you x
2nd time looking, so I was pleased to find this one. Thanks for maintaining the cache and making the search fun and successful.
Nice and dry cache in a intrresting spot.Always a bonus to stop for a cuppa in the motorhome to see a cache nearby.TFTC
Good look around the relic with other old relic in between the rain sessions. Sadly a DNF for us here
So many possibilities! We spent a while looking in various nooks & crannies before coming up with the goods. Interesting place, which we examined closely thanks to looking for that cache.
As we arrived and looked at the bridge, a vehicle stopped and the couple walked purposefully to the suspected location of the geocache. After they found him, we logged him too.TFTC diddi_
Cool cache spot took me a while to find but I just had to look from a different angle
On the way to Hokitika and decided to pick this one up because it was on the way. TFTC
Dieser Cache konnte heute erfolgreich geloggt werden.Danke an den owner fr's legen und pflegen TFTC SchmerzbefreitHope the log is Ok
Had a good poke around for ages, unfortunately not there for us today. Thanks anyway, hopefully will be back at some other time.
Had a good look but bunch of muggles turned up so couldn't continue. I did crawl around for quite a while and kept referring to the hint. Not sure if I was just overthinking the hide or maybe it is missing. Will be back next time I am up this way!
Finally!!! The kids have been hunting for this for a long time. Easily found today.
On our way out to Hokitika Gorge to do the Adventure Lab the other day we stopped here to do a random maintenance check. We were both surprised to find the cache missing. As it was a random stop we werent prepared to replace it so Mum stopped on the way to work this morning with a ready replacement. All good to go here again. Happy Caching
The complete month march I am travelling on both Islands. Christchurch heading south, next the westcoast.
AbelTasman-Wellington-Rotorua-Hahei and finally Auckland.
This was one of the caches I found; thanks for showing me the area.

We stopped on the way to Mahinapua track to upgrade the container from the small replacement earlier. We had a look around to see if there was a better place to hide it but decided we already had the best hiding spot so just upgrade the container. All good here. Happy Caching
Mum stopped on the way to work as we got a message it might be missing.
Happy to report the downsized container is still present.

Found by Kirsten. Am getting reminded - who told you to look there!! TFTC and thanks for the replacement
Mum called in on the way to work and the container was missing AGAIN, sigh
As we were not expecting it to be missing she didnt bring the right kind of container but did happen to have a small one with her. This will do for the meantime and we will upsize it next time we pass. All good here again

2 people 20 mins climbing arounds rocks no luck. Just about broke my neck so that was that.
No luck here today. Stopped here for lunch and had a good look, but did not locate the cache.
Mum checked on this on the way to work this morning. The cache wasnt where it was supposed to be indeed and couldnt be found after extending the search either. It has now been replaced with a slightly smaller same type container. All good to go here again.
Driving past and it looked an interesting place to stop. The cache was a bonus. It was a little exposed so I used a rock or two to disguise it better. TFTC
Awesome spot for a stop! We were searching at the wrong height for a while. Found it after letting the GPS settle and rethinking the hint. Thanks!
Quick stop today. The kiddos loved exploring this place and finding the cache. Thanks!
3rd of the day and first of the targeted ones. A recent DNF made it a bit touch and go, and another tourist here meant we had to be subtle in our searching.
The GPS immediately settled on one area where there had been some evidence of searching. I had no luck there but I thought about the hint, and different interpretations of it, and found in a much more relaxing and less dodgy spot. Took a seat on a rock, fossicked behind me, and there it was. All good here, TFTC No 13.
Our last day of our South Island trip today, and it’s the home stretch from Hokitika to Nelson.
Not many goals today, but I noticed I was only a couple of longitude minutes off qualifying for a challenge cache, so with limited opportunities on the way home that would add to that, we stopped for some caches there.
The other goal was to spend a bit of time in Reefton, as I had never done this. So we timed that stop for lunch and had a good look around, ticking off a few caches and doing the Adventure Lab.
Apart from that the aim was to get home ASAP, pick up the fur babies from the cattery, and relax and debrief on what has been a full on 16 days.

Day 17 & the last day of our South & Stewart Islands roadie. Agenda today is Hoki to my home in Brightwater. No walks to do today, just stopping in Reefton for lunch, a look around & the adventure lab to complete
Will be good to see my furbabies, Mummy has missed them
Neat stop with some cool history here. We searched a bit until RNZ found this one Quite a few people stopping so we had to time the extraction & logging

Logging with CO's permission after being told it was indeed missing. Next problem was no cell reception for aftn night and all today to just now. Home ph and wifi now started also. Huge thank you to Gracie7 + Mum for letting us change the blue frown and the cache.
Mum checked on this one this morning on the way to work before the second DNF came in and we were expecting it to still be there so she didnt have anything to replace the now missing cache. She made something up at work and replaced it on the way home. Now a 200ml sistema instead of a 400ml. All good to go again. Happy Caching
CO messaged me later in the day to confirm that the cache was missing, and has generously allowed me to log the find. Thanks, Gracie7 + Mum! Most appreciated.

We came here to hopefully find this but after 30mins we had to go. The plus was got an awesome photo of sun setting in relic.
I'm in Greymouth for a couple of nights, after hiking the Paparoa Track. I decided to hire a car today to get out and about, explore the area and grab a few caches. Grabbed this cache on my way between Greymouth and Hokitika, a nice easy find TFTC!

What a cool wee thing, was driving past and thought, that has got to be the relic, wasn't planning on grabbing this one but it was rude not to.
