Found with Gazania Rigens.Tootling up from Nevs Ramp, we spent a while walking around here with our binoculars admiring the wildlife on land, sea and in the air before strolling along to the cache.Found all in good order and replaced as before.TFTC
It wasn't the right time for penguins but we saw plenty of other birds and seals. After a bit of poking around in the grass we found the container nicely tucked away. TFTC!
Down here for the Dunedin Geo Toroa Event from the sunny Bay of Plenty,Tauranga and are with some of Team BoP. Great to get together with our fellow cachers. Signed Logs MDF. Down in Dunedin for the Mega event. Travelling with Davidsonclan and McJandals. Really fun to be out and about with the team and catching up with other cachers friends from everywhere. Great view from here south along the beach we walked last year to reach the cache at the mouth of the Shag River. TFTC, an easy find on a lovely day.
A wet and windy day for a visit but worth it as lots of seals to see. Not much birdlife though. A quick find, which I was grateful for as pretty wet! TFTC

Out for a few hours gecocaching from Karitane. After two DNFs was pleased to find this one. The compass wanted me to take a few more steps closer to the water - having noted the terrain level I knew I didn’t need to. Watched a seal below enjoying a tumble in the water below. Lots in seals sunbathing too
Came down here to see the seals and hadn't expected to find a cache. But luckily I checked the app and found this one very close-by. Nicely done. TFTC.
A quick detour to the end of the road this afternoon had us at the awesome spot. The cache was quickly located with no one but the seals around so we snapped a couple of photos and left them to their peace and quiet. TFTC, a fav point from us for this cache. [^]
Easter family adventures. Stayed in Naseby a few nights. Used to come to Ranfurly a LOT growing up with both sets of grandparents and several Aunts and Uncles living here. Time to start heading homewards...aiming for Oamaru for the night. After summiting Puketapu we came out here to have our lunch. Nice one. Plenty of seals down around-no penguins. Thanks.

Was a quick find for me earlier this afternoon and it is years since I was last here. It was possibly 2006 as I remember at least one of my passengers was an Aussie
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a day in and around Moeraki, Shag Point and further south. The day started with a little rain early on, then ended with more, but in between we were lucky to have a dry day

A nice wee walk around the cliff top, looking at all the seals. Good that they are now protected after a brutal time with the sealers. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.

Just a seal and some seagulls on the beach. Nice to sit in the warm sunshine though.
We looking forward to see all the beaufitul places of the country by geochaching in our 8 weeks holiday trip. That’s why we love this so much. Thanks for let us seeing this part. We love it!

Vacations 2019 - Road trip trough New Zealand
With Geoesposa, this was my 50th anniversary. 16 days, 4200Kms and a few hundreds smilles after, i was sure i saw nothing....
I liked everything, the friendly and civilized people, the way the country works, the roads and especially the natural beauty of New Zealand.
I fell in love....
I decided to go back in 5 years, I easily see myself living my last days somewhere lost in any stunning scenery of this wonderful country.
With the itinerary studied at home, the caches were the ones that were in the chosen places, and a few used to stretch the legs. It was decidedly not the most important on this trip. Of all the visited, only half a dozen did not appear, all being in good health except two or three.
I will use this generic log, not for disrespect of the owners, but due to the amount of caches visited. Here the majority of caches serve to show something beautiful (as it should be), not giving importance to the container.
My thanks to all the ownwers who, allied to the natural beauty of the country, have made this vacation unforgettable.

Nice place to see sealions - children are excited. Weather is too windy but never mind. TFTC. Czech.
A visitor from Switzerland came all the way to find some pinguins but found only this silly cache...t4tc!
A young couple, far from the other crowd, didn't seem overly happy when I turned up! However, this cache was nicely placed away from their viewpoint so I quickly signed and retreated. TFTC # 13,300
Found with our 2 and 5 y.o. T4TC. We sat and kept a watch between 6 and 7.30pm tonight. We saw no penguins but a few seals swimming around
On a quest to complete the Hidden Creatures challenge so again off to Oamaru to find about 80 caches and this was one of them. TFTC
Today we moved from O. to D., had many interesting experiences and found some caches. This one was really good.
Smells like pebguins but looks like I'm too early to see any. At least theres a cache hehe
We came around to say hello to the penguins and the seals. They seem so lazy. TFTC
Even though it was too early to spot a penguin, ReCached and I happily drove to Shag Point to see a few seals and to find a geocache out there. TFTC drawp!

No penguins for us today, well, we were a bit early... but lots of seals, and a geocache 
I had a goal to get to 2000 finds before the end of 2017 so a 2 day caching mission to Oamaru was in order. A quick detour to Shag Point along the way and a nice drive along the coast. Great views from GZ but it was a tad windy so I made the find and then retreated back up to safer ground to take photos. TFTC
Uhm... Gps was pointing down the cliff. Oh I see, no need to go over the edge. Wrong time for penguins but saw plenty of other wild life. TFTC.
Easy find and hung around for the sunset looking for the penguins, bit elusive tonight though
no penguins, but while most of the seals were gone at this time of the day, two were still hanging around for a photo and then got into a fight over who's sitting were (they had the place to themselves, i think they just needed an excuse to scramble

) TFTC!I was down in Otago for the long weekend to attend the Oamaru Geofest and today drove back down to Dunedin, finding a few caches as I went. I took a short detour out to Shag Point and made a quick find of this cache while out there. TFTC!
