I went to check on the cache today and I regret to say that GZ has been destroyed and there was no evidence of the cache container or the contents.
I will endeavour to get this up and running again in a different location.

We found the cache the day we arrived in Cairns.. Well, we didn't actually find the whole cache, but the logbook. It was wet and just lying somewhere on the ground. A new box would be awesome !!!
Found this interesting cache container after slumming it at the Pullman Casino for the night. We were going to do it yesterday but thunderstorm and heavy rain sent us indoors sooner than we wanted.

Really enjoyed the moment when we found this one. Great hide. Dropped TB and picked up frog TB. Good job WAM!
Loved this cache, spotted it a long way away but just one of those ones I will remember forever. TFTC
Found this one today. I was here not to long ago in different circumstances and never knew it was here.
Today we get our great camper and made a explorer tour through Cairns. Easy find ! TFTC and greetings from Austria
#405 I went here at night the day before, and it was very dark. There were a lot of mozzies, and I was also afraid of touching anything as there were a lot of trash in the area. I gave up, and thought of just going back again in the morning. The following morning I went back, and quickly spotted the cache. As soon as I signed the log, the rain started pouring. By the time I got back to my hotel, I was very wet. TFTC!
Easy once you work out what to look for!! cant believe I walked past it so many times!! signed log..tnln...no TBs in container. Dipped travel bug for milage.
After watching the pics it was easy - without I would have been to scared. Took Sponge Bob and will go on a long journey with him...

Our 3rd International Cache and our 3rd cache as a married Couple! Traveled to Australia on our Honeymoon this week and are having a fantastic time here in Cairns. We have gotten to snorkel at the reef and taken the Skyrail to Karundo. Thanks for the beautiful cache!
Dropped off a spongebob squarepants Trackable ZVV3ZM we retrieved in Charleston, South Carolina, USA that we had for a while and were saving for this trip!

tried this tonight. To start no luck decided after a couple of minutes i mabey needed a torch. So I went back to the car and whilst walking back read some of the logs and got the torch. Well got back and looked properly and thought you are brilliant after looking closely, in the dark, at the whole cache container.
As in the old Guinness ad, 'Brilliant'.
Thanks acko

Really a nice cache. I did not see the "hints" (pictures) here on the website of geocaching.com. Just a small piece of information on my mobile application on my phone...
It took me some time to get carefully closer to this cache. Very good idea to avoid the muggles get to close to the cache.
TB left. No trade.

I love Cairns and I love this cache. Passing back thought so thought I would have a nosy in. People have set up camp right under this cache since the last time I was here with Bean Caching. It's a mess. But the cache, luckily, is still as awesome as ever =)
Took a great TB and left a couple of bouncy balls.
Leave Cairns in a couple of days and won't be back for at least a year...if not longer!!

Hilarious, super-hide, almost watched over it, and once you found it you ask yourself how that could ever be possible. Thanks!

Some locals set up near gz but we managed to find a retrieve quickly. Excellent cache design.
Just become a premium member and going though my favourite caches =) I love this one! One of the best ever! I always tell people about this one. Dotty xoxo
Not too sure about the container selection. Found the container but thought it was too easy to be true.
Couldn't find any trackables in it. Is it just me??

Youngest daughter and I went for a hunt this one whilst the other 2 ssmc4's went to the Post Office. The clever container was soon spotted and after cautiously approaching it we convinced ourselves that we were on the right track. Nicely done - thanks!
at the first try we saw the cache but a muggel was sleeping unter the tree. so we get a walk and 2 h after we log it in the book. TFTC

Well, this container or you love it, or you hate it...
It´s the best way to keep mugglers away, but can lead to same dengers to geocachers....
I say, probably, is better not to move in the object when its says "danger", maybe place a pic or logo that only the geocachers really know, that way they know its safe, and keep the mugglers away

No luck for us on this one today. Arriving very late afternoon, we approached GZ and saw the homeless persons camp right on top of it. Walking up slowly, we noticed the blanket in there move, they were lying down there, so we gave it a miss today.
Find #1427
I'm not sure I would have approved this container. You really don't want to play around with such potentially lethal warnings. Needless to say, there are such objects that can be confused for geocaches. I have in fact accidentally opened a non-geocache container similar to this, while geocaching in the past.
Note: there seems to be a local "resident" that seems to have moved in a few feet away from the cache.

Another great container, and the homeless guy was there as described in previous logs. However, the container was a way away from where he was sleeping. Previous logs had us looking for something the average person wouldn't normally touch or open, so was obvious once spotted. NO TB's in this one to collect, but we dropped UK Geocoin. TFTC Loved it! SL
During our beautiful trip through Australia we found this nice cache. TFTC and greetings from Germany. Schneckerl 2212
We attempted this one at about 9pm on a Saturday night, so there was quite a bit of traffic around. The gps kept changing its mind but I think we were finally on the right track, until I stumbled across a homeless person sleeping near gz and I decided that I didn't want to continue the search any further. Will try this one again at a later date...
What a fantastic cache ,really had a good laugh thinking of how many muggles go past each day &never take any notice ,brill.... TFTC x
Surely that isn't it is it? Am I really allowed? Uh huh. Of course it is. I loved it. So creative. Thanks WhatsAMap

Our first cache in Australia, and as such it earns a favourite! Not difficult to find, and quite different from the average .... Plenty of room for swaps and TB's, so left one of our own and took another. Bon Voyage Imp! Wonder how long it will be before we see you again? Thanks for the cache, too.
Easy found in a very hot Cairns... Left my TB little croc... (good luck friend )

TVOP with Rikkiboy and Zippy-L. Found at 16:50. Cleaned some garbage after logging this cache. Nice cache, it confused me a short while. TFTC!
No it couldn't bee that, my boys took a step back as I investigated but luckily enough it was the cache. How Cairns has changed since I was here backpacking 20 years ago!!!! TFTC
At first we didn't dare to approach it... Took a TB and left another one. TFTC

This was my first cache outside from Europe. At the moment i`m traveling with a friend of mine through australia. In Germany i`ve collected two travel bugs to bring them to Australia. So: Mission Completed.
And why don`t the same with travel bugs from australia?
Got one TB from this cache. This will move to Germany
Thanks for this cache.

A gang of family members found this cache on speck. Nothing to leave but will move the Shuttle - not quite it's origins.
A quick find at 4:45pm, despite the unusual container, after a day out on the reef. Lots of good snorkelling in the coral, turtles, fish, and a sleepy shark - and finished off by a cache close to our parking spot.
No swaps but took geocoin to move it on.
thanks WhatsAMap

and what a good idea it was! Good cache container idea.
Easily found - spotted from a distance! Did discover the two travel bugs in there but left them in there as had nothing to swap them with as forgot to take the geocoin we have already out of the campervan to swap.
Thanks for the cache!

Another great container. Awesome cache but I think we looked pretty dodgy hiding in the bushes at night.
Interesting cache. Glad there was a bit of cover while I looked around. Good camo had me a little careful at first!
What a nice cache, found in front of the Convention Center where I am going to give a presentation in 2 days. I like the container, it is a good idea, I like the place, I am first time in Australia, this is my first Australian cache. Greetings from Czech Republic! TFTC! TNLN.
Continuing with my walk around Cairns after ditching the family at the Markets I ended up here next. After a brief search while the GPS settled I quickly found the cache, really hoping that's what it was!
TNLNSL, thanks for another find WhatAMap!
best wishes,

My first cache in Australia! Loved the container although approached with some trepidation. Saw some TBs and may drop a couple there later. Enjoying the heat too! SL Thanks for the "dangerous" cache. It was great!
After having a fair bit of a wander around GZ we thought we knew where it must be, but then I spotted it. A very clever one.TFTC My850th!
I didn’t really get the title, but I'm from Sydney and I don’t understand rugby, either; a game where grown men do manly things with manly men and tend to go WAM! a lot. But being a white anglo saxon protestant (at least that’s what I’m told) I’m a little less manly, which is nothing to do with being manly, but more to do with this cache. Although, given the apprehensive feelings I had opening the container, the WaywardWoman would say I’m more like a Wussy arboreal sex partner, although what this has to do with the cache is anybody’s guess. Thanks
This cache really creeped me out for a second while carefully removing the cache from it's "camo". But it turned out fine.

Cheers.
