Arrived at GZ and quickly found the cache in the likely hiding spot, thanks for placing andTFTC
We woke today to quite cool and foggy morning so we decided to wait around for things to warm up a bit.It was then we received a phone call from a family member traveling south that they were heading through Stanthorpe and would we like to catch up for a coffee. We never pass up the opportunity to catch up with family so it was on! They suggested we meet at a place in Thulimah, and we duly did. This set the agenda for the day. We decided afterwards to head further north up to Dalveen before working our way back home along the Fruit Run. It was only about halfway through the series we realized that there were fruit stalls all along the route, some open but many obviously no longer operational. We guess a new highway finished many of them!We collected a few other caches along the way as well.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Team Robins.**SKI Pair****
Nice quick find at cool little railway building. Shame there isnt really a regular train that runs this way any more. This should be my 600th find, according to the official website. TFTC
We did spend some time looking u and under and all around . Found it. Signed and replaced cache as found tftc
Had a good look around on our way to snowflakes festival, couldn’t find but zero degree temp definitely shortened our commitment. Nice stop off at a historic train station
Travelling with TBU1Bikesu from Rutherglen to Brisbane.

Found easily, once I avoided the gaze of the muggles across the road. Love old railway station caches.
Last log in physical log book is from July.

Spent a lovely weekend on the Granite Belt with Sausage3. While our husbands had a nana nap, we spent the afternoon geocaching, mostly avoiding the rain. Lots of nooks and crannies but eventually found the cache which I saw from the opposite side of the building. Tftc
Captain Findthee Swing ("please smirk now if you find it amusing") was the boil on the top of the seething lake of pus created by the rule of the grotesque Lord Winder. He ran the Unmentionables during this latter's reign. The Unmentionables were pretty much the Gestapo of Ankh-Morpork: you didn't dare get noticed by them, you didn't dare complain, and you most certainly didn't argue. Those few people who managed to walk out of their clutches in Cable Street seemed to have fingers pointing the wrong way or lumps and burns that they couldn't quite explain.
I guess the surprise here was that we had no help from an old man. Were we too quick or was he too slow? Thanks for the cache
After finishing the apple I took this route to pick up a few more caches before heading back home. All caches found in good condition. Tftc
Australia Day, overcast, bored at home, so decided to do some more border hopping to see we could find any more likely locations for caches. Did we find any? Watch this space. But what we did find was that you cannot get over the border at Barlows Gate! So we came back to try Cullendore Gate.
Then over Wylie Creek to do a quick TB visit to our caches, and on to Vincozos for a well earned coffee.
After coffee, we stayed off the highway - well stayed off the new highway, and meandered around along the old highway, catching caches that did nor require wading in waist high wet grass.
The Summit Surprie was one of those such caches. This was an easy find by Mr D Thanks Team Robins for the hide

Nice spot, I spotted the cache on approach. With the light fading fast the air was filled with the smell of fireplaces being lit. Tftc
Out geocaching today with Magpie Cottage and Wandering Me. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment Team Robins

Came by The Summit train station on our way back to Stanthorpe, thought we must have missed the steam train's return trip to Warwick by hours, but as it turned out it hadn't even left town yet. Heard it's horn when we were at the cemetery later.
While J was examining the historical looking station, I found the cache without too much of a search. Good quiet spot.

I have just had the best weekend caching around the Warwick, Summit and Stanthorpe areas. With caching buddies (geonayfee, Willis007 and Triple Turmoil) for the weekend we got in a very large number of caches, completing the apple geoart, the fruit run and a few other special caches along the way. I had a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs and funny events it just made for a fun time; the puzzle solving in the lead up to the weekend was great also.
A big thanks to all the CO’s of the caches along the way; for placing and maintaining the caches for us to enjoy. Visiting this area and seeing places I would never see in a normal trip here was enlightening, so again thanks.
In the weekend I got around 180 caches so firstly apologies for the generic part to the log, I do not remember all specifically but some did stand out so I will add a little to those in my posts.
Ahh the fruit run series, and in between some extra caches, nice spot here

I was invited to join Chamad, TripleTurmoil and Willis007 for an epic Geocaching adventure on the Granite Belt and surrounding areas. Our morning started bright an early at Warwick (For some good ole caffeine goodness) and slowly but surely we made our way south towards Stanthorpe while grabbing MANY caches on the way.
The main goal for the weekend was to complete the Stanthorpe GeoArt and sign a couple of the challenge caches. We had a wonderful yet tiring day, we did plenty of driving and visited several locations I haven't been to before
Thank you to each and every CO for places caches at these location. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had a blast. We'll certainly enjoy our sleep tonight.
Signed as Twocans
Apologies for the copy pasting crap.

After meeting Willis007 and Chamad at a previous event over New Years, they invited me to join them on an epic geoart mission at Stanthorpe. After weeks of puzzling and planning, today was the day (together with Nayfee). We covered a lot of mileage, had a lot of laughs and learnt a lot along the way.
Between Warwick and Stanthorpe there are a LOT of caches to sign and we did a pretty good job of getting every single one we could - signed as Twocan to save 25 seconds of signing at each cache, as we had work to do!

Heading out to Stanthorpe this weekend to grab some of the wonderful caches on offer out here. Our group of Triple Turmoil, CHAMAD and NayFee signed logs as team TWOCAN.
An easy find at gz today.
Thank you for the cache Team Robins.

We decided that this would be our last cache before heading off to lunch. We had a 12pm booking at Varias and it was our second lunch there in a row. We were making our way through the entree and mains and were keen to knock off the whole menu. Without a doubt the food there is amazing and we had booked three visits once we heard it was open for business weeks ago. We had stopped there on our first day in Stanthorpe to pick up a couple of bottles of the Sparkling Marsanne. They were already gone and we needed to restock. tftc
Out for a day's caching from Stanthorpe to Dalveen and beyond, most were easy finds while a couple took a bit of searching to find

This has to be a personal favourite of mine, brings back good memories of growing up with my dad working the railroad
What a quaint little station. Looks great with the new paint job.
We are loving these caches and enjoying the scenery too.
Cache found and paper work done.
Ready for the next cacher.

Our last here at Stanthorpe befotre heading down to Queanbeyan for the 2019 Mega. It has been great, but with mixed success. Didn't achieve as much of the Stan's Apple puzzle series smileys as we would have hoped but we will pass this way again and will pickup and redo those ones that we missed. Nice little station, need to play the angles here to spot the cache.

Sorry for the generic logs but there are so many caches in this area and there are only so many things you can write. We have loved caching our way here and around the area. We are only here for a day or two so not sure how many will will get done, but we will do our best. Thank you to each and every CO for the effort that has been needed to place and maintain the caches that we were fortunate enough to make it to. Thanks.
Today is the last big day of caching in the Stanthorpe area as I will have finished collecting the new souvenirs. Many thanks to Pa for putting up with my crazy addiction to caching, and souvenirs, and for chauffeuring me around for hundreds of kms. Maybe our holiday will start now.
Decided to travel north on the back roads as neither of us fancy pulling up on the highway. We found most of those we tried for with only 2 DNFs and 28 smilies. Most caches were in good condition, in fact a few had lovely new logs! I had never been to this area before so seeing the Rabbit Proof fence here was a highlight.
Thanks to all the COs and Maintenance teams for the caches along the way. All logs were either signed Smittengranny or SG depending on my mood, the time taken to retrieve the cache and the space available for signing.

Thank you CO for placing. All is good with cache. Left some fairy dust. My knees are muddy now lol
TFTC! My geosenses must be a little off today, however I did find it eventually
Sometimes it's just about the numbers and this run was for that and if course the planetary souvenirs. I truly admire those that have done 100 or more, we were exhausted after just over 50 but that gets us half way there. We still enjoyed the driving and looking on the back roads and thank you for your effort in putting them there for us to do this run. TFTC
#1841 - On our way to the OzGeoMuster down south we want to pick up some caches along the way. TriciaC2 is joining Rhyssa6 and me for a portion of the trip.
Today we did a very short trail and a few trads. Triciac2 had already found this one, but we hadn't and she didn't even help us! Quick find by Rhyssa6.

Dutchie1950 and I are taking a slow scenic route to the OzGeoMuster in Morisset. We both have a goal we'd like to hit before the mega so we're caching as we go (ok, we'd be caching anyway!) TriciaC2 has joined us on our travels for a few days and a stop at Stanthorpe was first on our list.
After my dismal effort at our previous cache I made sure I searched thoroughly at ground zero here and was rewarded with a quick find.
