Thanks took a sec but found it and we where looking in the wrong spots but was a nice walk with the GeoDog
Comparing logs with Kiwi Does and noticed I hadnt logged this one.. silly me. An area we frequent for some easy fishing so figured why not go hunt out a cache or two while the rods do the hard work. TFTC!
A very nice hide exactly on coordinates.Lots of evidence of people searching all around over the fence and up the hills, but I checked and only a 1.5 terrain so stayed by the path.
Locations took us off the path. Where it suggested was a steep, quite dangerous bank. Decided to leave this one but it was a great spot to discover.
Searched and searched at the coordinates but didn't find anything. Kids decided the beach looked more appealing for adventure and so the search window closed. Will try again another time.
Quick find in a lovely spot after chatting to the dog walkers. Another beautiful place. People out sailing. Tftc
Instant find at posted coordinates. Good to see original logbook in such a great condition.
Wet mornings but not raining at the moment.
Picked up on my weekend journey.

12.00pm. Have been aware of this cache for years and don;t know why we have not got round to attempting until today. Went straight to it following the coords.
David and Noeline.

Sun was out for the first time in a weekend for a long time so off to explore an area of Tauranga we haven’t seen before. This took a bit longer than it should of but nice little wander around the estuary. Thanks for the hide
Staying here in our motorhome and took geopup out for a walk knowing there's a cache in the area. Once my GPS worked out I wasn't coming from Plummers Point it was a nice easy find. No creatures guarding it today thank goodness as I don't do spiders very well and wetas are definitely not my friends. TFTC.
After over shooting the location I backtracked and found it with ease. Great quick walk and find. No need to go off the track
Thanks...have never been down to this beach before in my life
....so it was good be able to make time and hunt for these 3 caches today!
I wonder how far this track goes?
Thanks for the cache!

We are enjoying seeing where these side roads take us. This is a lovely spot. The cache was in good order, nice and dry in it's baggie. TFTC
My first time out to this point so had to look around. Found this cache along this track which seems to lead to nowhere. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC

Out and about in the camper for a few days. On our way home we had decided to stay at Te Puna so we could collect all the caches in the area. This one was the second find. There was no spider today just spiderhouse. Lol.
Thanks J'N'K. A nice walk. Shame about the hoons cutting up the reserve though.

Glad jgirl1880 retrieved this one as when she pulled it out the big black spider guarding it decided to come along for the ride too
Cache number 3379. Another overnighter that I didn't overnight at. I endured the speed bumps to where I parked. Then as the ground to the boardwalk was wet underfoot I was glad to have my gumboots on. Once I was at GZ the cache was quickly retrieved and signed. Thank you for the placement.
After finding Snail Mail I continued the walk in the dark with only a phone torch with me and I was beginning to think I had made a big mistake by leaving the proper torch in the camper.
Luckily the coords were spot on and the cache was in hand straight away. Nice work with the camo and placement.
TFTC
Cheers

Out for some tomatoes at a local orchard and thought we'd explore down this way as I'd never been here before. Saw there was a cache to discover so that's what we did.
Close to GZ I stopped to check my phone and figured we were close. Five secs and the cache was retrieved where I expected it and we're signing the log.
Nice walking track. Tftc

Out with My.Precious hunting for a tomato stall with no luck so decided to do another type of hunt. Another place that's a treasure to the Bay. Will have to come back here with the kayak and do some fishing. TFTC.
Second of the night and the second the GPS had me in all places. Finally put it away and used some geo sense. Have not trained the dog yet to sniff them out !! Nice walk in the drizzle though.
Nuce quick find, though the excellent camo had me fooled for a second. Probably the fullest log I've ever seen but plenty of room for more. TFTC.
Couldn't find it, son many plants here and I really felt bad to walk over them, so gave up after a while of searching.
Any hint?
Still enjoyed coming here, nice area.

A lovely walk and a nice quick find. We have never seen lilies as big as the ones alongside the path. TFTC
Thanks for the cache. Nice little side excursion for us today. Never been to this point before. Very quiet and peaceful today. Not a muggle in sight.
Out caching with iammrwalker, kiwis69, 11hpg11 and HKCB to mission it around and about Tauranga.
After finding snail mail we came down here. A great spot. Cheers for bringign us here.

Out and about with Kiwis69, 11HPG11, Kyb3r and iammrwalker for a bit of a mission over in Tauranga. With caching time limited for a few of us, a half(ish) day leave pass was given from our respective muggle partners. With a set in stone time of 2pm to be back at home to maximise caching time a 5am start was agreed on. Still we managed about 6 hours of caching time and managed to find around 35 caches throughout the morning.
We all enjoyed the day out, and I think we all agreed it was a little long between drinks. A bonus for the day was the high level of quality caches we found. A big thanks to all those CO's for making it an even more memorable day. We signed the logs as HOAC, a group name we go by from time to time.
Nice stroll to GZ from the last cache, picked the location from afar, so a nice and easy find. Thanks for the hide.

I found this cache along with HKCB, kyb3r, Kiwi69 and 11hpg11, we signed most of the logs HOAC and a couple with an abbreviation of our Geocaching handles to save on space and time. We came over to the Bay from Hamilton, leaving at 5am and getting back to the Tron at 2pm to appease our respective partners. I managed to nab about 35 geocaches on our quick trip. We had a great time, shared some unforgettable work stories and some very humorous cringe worthy innuendo. The Bay has some incredibly creative CO’s and we were really impressed with the quality and variety of hides.
Our female members had picked up this cache on a previous visit so they stayed back at the car to work on a puzzle we had been discussing and working on collectively during our trip while the boys went for a walk. Nice logical hide which was quickly found. I can see why mobile home owners stop here its a nice spot.

Nice camo! It was a quick find and in great condition considering it was placed over 5 years ago? Tftc
I suffer from campervan envy, so I was happy to be shown a potential stopover if we ever....
The cache was clean and dry. I swapped a turtle with a nodding head for a wee smurf that will be added to a swag item I make. TFTC.

Gps jumped a bit. After no luck went with instinct and had it in hand quickly. Thanks for bringing us here
Nice easy find on warm sunny evening great we cache and most enjoyable walk thanks loved it
Stunning views from here .... Spotted the cache but there was another couple around taking photos here so had to wait till they had gone. Tftc
Had this in hand almost before I had seriously started looking. Sometimes it happens like that, but not often. I love this location, I can see why it must be a campervan overnighting favourite. TFTC
On a caching adventure with Finbop. The boys scoured the fenceline and found this one. Tftc.
Went on an adventure to day with the So Psyched crew. The boys poked around and came up with this one. tftc
Down here on a house hunting trip with a friend and we had time between viewings to pick up a few caches. Having failed at Snail Mail, we were pleased to find this one quickly. TFTC
