Find # 1808
After a late night last night, I had a bit of a late start for my planned mini cache run to the Narre Warren and Berwick area. It was quite an overcast day, but no real threat of rain which kept me happy.
Upon arriving near to GZ, I recognised I had actually attempted this one in the past with no luck. Today I sort of found it!! I arrived at GZ and fount the log book, the stash note, a pen and a snap lock bag strewn all over the place. After signing, I placed the book, pen and note into the bag, but this cache needs a new container  [^]
Thanks to megabogan for the cache. Just signed the log book and placed it beside the tree

Found the log, the pen and the stash note strewn all over the place, I have placed them in the snap lock bag, but a new container is required.
Quick find, awesomely-sized container was just lying there. Given up trying' to work out why you brought me here.
Looked around for a few minutes but nothing stood out... Then I tripped on some thing... Did not expect this... Nice cache... One this big needs swaps... Did not have any with me... It was muggled a while ago, perhaps that is why...?
Great box! Found while out with team crig. La mina's hawk eyes came in handy. TFTC!
Spent 20 mins hunt through the bushes with no luck. We call it quits and looked around on the ground and found some cache objects on the ground suspect this cache may have been muggled

TFTC! Funny cache! Mate was on muggle watch on the grass until he spotted one walking it's dog... Dog got a bit carried away and went off its leash and made him run into the bushes screaming!
Won't disable ,but will try to get to shortly to clean up. Problem is I'm a little restricted at the moment. MB
Strange I know BUT the log book is starting to become damp - found some traces of water sitting on the logbook. Zip bag is also torn
What a beauty huge cache in central suburbia. Found after a short stroll dodging a few road workers.
Top stuff thx for the neat cache.

Agreed the roads here are tricky. Well that was embarrassing, an ammo can and I nearly missed it.
Thanks for the cache.

After wandering through some gaps through the houses this was a nice quick find. TFTC SL
After last nights aborted effort for night time caching (having a bad cold and all) I decided to get out and about today and get some fresh air into my lungs. The problem of course now is where to start. All caches from home are now some distance and after last nights effort I was concerned with caches in Berwick coming up as DNF. But I tried again and had a very successful job of it in Berwick, Officer and Pakenham. A good question? Knowing something of road design having worked in the area for many years it would appear that the volume of traffic has exceeded the capacity of this road. Time for an upgrade, but when? Who knows. Loved this type of cache. We need more of them Thanks mega for this nice big surprise.
Surprisingly given its size, this took a few moments to find (I was probably put off by pulling all the prickles out of my clothes (ouch)), but after a short search I was signing the log at 15:10.
TNLNSL. Thanks megabogan.

too many stinking trees to get through here, they kept attacking me and trying to stop me fom finding the cache. but we did, great size for this one!!!

Our fifth find for the day, our aim was to pop 200 on a particular puzzle cache today so our course had to be plotted out in advance.
We decided to split up and leave some of the family at the playground at the previous cache, whilst we made the quick walk up for this one as the weather was starting to look like it was going to rain. I had not read the size before heading here so was surprised to find an ammo can on the side of the road! A quick sign of the log and grabbed the TB before heading off for the next cache.
Thanks for the cache megabogan

The roads around are great around here. Come out to Laverton where the great distribution buildings are going up. Could you image this road with endless B-doubles turning and passing each other. I am lucky to be writing this log. And Julia Goolia (the PM) is our local member. I will stop writing now.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
This was cache # 17 of 24 for the day around Cranbourne and Narre Warren. It was good to find a nice size cache at last. My thanks to megabogan for the cache.
Over from Adelaide to pick up some numbers with the Wackys. Had a great weekend.
Great little strip of caches along here. Pity the weather was atrocious! Thanks for your efforts.

We were back in the area today for the last day of Comps. After dropping Spike and StephanieK off, Snake headed off to GZ with a steely resolve. As he marched up to GZ, he kept thinking to himself, "hmmm it has got to be here and I won't leave without it." As it turned out this time, simply turning around and looking behind where he was standing, he had the cache within 30 seconds. Next thing to do today is book an appointment with the Optometrist. Thanks to megabogan for a fun cache.

16.45pm. this area is interesting as it might all have changed if i come back from england in a few years time.the madwizzard and i soon had the cache in hand after arriving nearby then set about trading some travel bugs. i took out a geocoin "2cache aid" and dropped in our own tb into its first cache "singapore" i also discovered two coins here "disc ccc gc " and "ddrams us flag" that madwizzard was dealing with. thank you for this goos cache.sltn.patandjeff=bones1.
16.45pm. just dropping in a tb, the first cache it has visited,i wonder if it will get back to our home in england. i will do our logs soon.patandjeff=bones1.
I teamed up with bones1 today... Thanks bones1, I think we made a good team After a quick search we had the cache in hand at 16:52 and signed it.
Now this is what I call a well organized cache. We stopped for a short break and made a few swaps & discoveries here.
We each swapped a Geocoin that we had been carrying around for a few days for the ones that were in the cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1045. A quiet little hideaway. The last entry in the log was from a polite teenager muggle. Our thanks to megabogan.
07-08 8th find of the day at 14:46 and 1107th find in total.
Here is a cache that we remember going to do earlier this year in the dark but we called off the hint when we got here and we kept walking into cobwebs between all the trees. Today, not a cobweb it sight much to Spice's relief.
Good to see a choice of container size that matches the hide area, especially that later today we will be going to similar areas to find micros...

Great sized cache! Makes quite a difference to the Eclipse tins we have been seeing this morning.
The road certainly carried a lot of traffic (even on a Saturday morning), but don't hold your breath for any improvements.
Thanks, Robmc.

A quick dash across the road and a short stroll into the bushes and the chauffer soon located the hide. Great spot to be searching - away from the houses and hidden from the traffic and a larger container - well done. Took the GC. TFTC
Parked the car in a nearby side street and made the quick walk down to gz finding the cache a short time later, in the process of signing the logbook the council had started to do some lawn mowing quite close by so we made our way out from gz whilst the muggle mower was heading in the opposite direction.
Great to see more of these cache containers in suburbia.

Parked at the wrong place and had to walk a bit. Enjoyed looking at all the nice houses before finding our time to slip into the bushes between the mower man doing the passes. While we look for the cache a muggle walks past and gives us the most strange of strange looks. Found the cache and signed the log then found our time to pop out of the bush's as the mower goes past. It is a simple fact that in a country/city that started from scratch the infrastructure will always lag behind the urban sprawl! I see they are walking on duplicating the Cranbourne/Frankston road right now. Or was that the Dandenong/Frankston? Or the.......
The cache was very well hidden and took me some time to find - in the end I stood on it or I would never have found it!

I didn't have any trouble parking just off the nearby busy road - being in a 4wd helps, but I don't think a lower clearance vehicle would have trouble getting safely off to the side. More of a problem is crossing the road on foot - but, with a bit of patience, that's not much of a problem and I was soon at GZ where the nicely sized cache container was soon in hand. I must admit to being a bit "stuffed" with mints lately and I really enjoyed finding such a nice, solid cache for a change.

Thanks yet again megabogan

Looked for this cache despite heavy rain and cold wind.
The odd sunshine between made it possible. Found the well
hidden cache after some search still within acceptable range of GZ.

We found this cache at 2:35pm as the 11th of 13 on our South Eastern Tour. The rain had gone down to a shower so just "J" and I made the run from the nearest parking place for what was thankfully a quick find. Thanks from D, HA and A B-A (With guest J).
Tricky cache but after widening search area slightly and looking for obvious hiding spots soon had this one unearthed. Left butterfly hairtie, took nothing. TFTC SL
I think I left this one too late. It was almost completely dark and I didn't have a torch. Scrabbled about in the bushes for a few minutes but turned up nothing, so will return another day.
Spent an afternoon with my two young boys out caching today. Took ages to locate the cache. GPS was out by about 5m out which made the find harder and was almost about to give up when once last wide sweep of the area helped us locate the cache. Thanks for the hide. TNLNSL.
Wow excellent hide spot - good job - no muggles around this area. No swap. SL. Thanks megabogan
Nice big cache, should have brought some travellers with us, bugger!
