Hi there Reviewer,
RE: The cache "Washington Anchor"
We looked before we realised there was already a NM on this cache (which is well over 28 days old).
Could you please temporarily disable the cache to prevent it from showing up in search lists?

CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!

Easily located!!1 Thanks wheres wolly for the hide!!
This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper231. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!

Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

This is the 1st of 3 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 10:44:00 AM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

Found it just in time before it rained with 07mintys help. Lots of muggles around. Thankyou for the cache.
Found it with sarz22 so many muggles on a Wednesday morning . We solved it with all your cryptic messages
Staying in Tumby Bay for a few days we set off finding the caches around here cleaning up a lot of unfounds from previous trips, found easy enough as we are starting to get use to your hide style : ) TFTC
Found by Mary & David, in company with pprass (signed as m & p), at 1035. Our third day in Port Lincoln. Today, we cached our way around the local area again. Weather further improved, with only a couple of light showers today. Another familiar kind of hide, found after a brief search. Our thanks to wheres wolly.
Found at 10:33 AM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob. We signed the log book as "M&P".
I went on one side and David went the other and he was successful while I could only smell dog poo and needed to get out of there quickly [xx(]
Thanks wheres wolly.

A very full car park today , lucky you could hide behind the cars while looking. We checked out the Anchors on the fence line at the back of the hotel, Awesome very well done. Easy find TFTC
I found this with mummy and daddy and my sister while we were having a holiday in Port lincoln

Another perfect spring day for a drive around town while in Port Lincoln for a few days.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good quick finds.
Very quiet here on a Sunday arvo thankfully.

Made this one way harder than we needed to.
Luckily we parked the van to hide our search from the many muggles in the area.
Expected to meet some spiders here but were surprised by the number of snails that call the area around GZ home.
Thanks.

Looked for this last night, to no avail. Using the terrain rating, it was no-where to be seen!
Came back this morning while my Bestie was over the shops and found it after PAFing a previous finder.
Dfinately NOT a 1 star terrain. I'd like to see a wheelchair bound person reach that one! Cache creep, or the rating needs to be at least 1.5 star terrain?
Thanks, on our way now...

No amount of ferreting about in the bush helped me locate this one! Has it been moved?

Found it while getting some drinks nearby. Have had many a drunken night at this establishment, thanks for the cache
We searched way too long for this one. Given the number of other D NFs I wonder if it really is an easy level find.
Hint tipped it for me. Easy one - same approach as a recent one in Adelaide. Extreme muggle action though - caution needed. TFTC
hi all i have checked this cache and the cache is there safe and sound take care travel safely happy caching i checked this cache yesterday cheers.
No luck for me today ! I was having a good look when a car door opened right next to me - and I hadnt even noticed the gent sitting about two metres away watching me scratching thru bushes and pulling fences apart....ooops. I made up some silly treasure hunting story, but i think he just thought I was a weirdo. Mind you he didnt leave, so I had too, DOH.

Seemed an odd place for a cache. We weren't able to find it, including in what seemed the hinted location. Might require a cache check by the owner. Cheers Gav
Maybe I am missing something cause we could not see it. Found a sealable bag with nothing in it so could have been picked up by Muggles, but I could also be just missing it. If the next hunter does not find it, perhaps a maintenance entry should be logged for it to be checked.
Well I found it this time.
Knew it would be there and it was.
Better in the daylight.

Another good hide spot - alot of snail there gosh... signed the log. Thanks wheres wolly.
We attempted this one on the first day we arrived however we didn't search properly because we needed to do some shopping. Then
afterwards we met the owner a few days later and we got a bit of hint from him....finally Mr Bushies2 found it. Thanks wheres wolly.

I know how you hide these, found the tell tale line of evidence but there was nothing at the end of the line...
Finnaly, after three attempts.
