Further to my log below, I enquired further on the plans/future of Bellbird Lookout, and Binna Burra Lodge provided the following comment:> The Garden track and Bellbird lookout are on our land. We do hope to reopen a part of these tracks, but do not have a timeframe. The Bellbird lookout is unlikely to re-open, we have a planned Adventure Activities Precinct in the area. You can read more of our plans on our website:[https://www.binnaburralodge.com.au/new-lodge-and-accommodation/](https://www.binnaburralodge.com.au/new-lodge-and-accommodation/)Kind regardsPipReception Binna Burra LodgeFurthermore, there is a link to their [masterplan](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XXrR-bgg-5Bx0ls3ylj9APz74g6SJCfu/view?usp=share_link) via their website, and it does indicate that Bellbird Lookout will be reinstated in the future? I've attached a screenshot that has been anecdoted to show Bellbird Lookout. It may be a case of just watching and see to understand how their construction goes, and then what ends up getting opened in that area. I hope this helps the CO and future visitors.
Following our morning hike, I had some available time, so I thought I would check on a couple of these caches that had been impacted by the 2019 bushfires and the tracks weren't immediately recognisable to be open. It is funny that the tracks aren't well communicated about their closure until you come to a fence, but there is a small track through the bush, so the main construction zone can be avoided. The tracks in this area (Garden Track and Bellbird Lookout) look to be very overgrown and I don't believe they will be reopened. There was gympie gympie growing along the Bellbird Lookout track and sections that I had to duck and weave to get through (I am fairly sure that I got my tick within this section too).As I approached GZ, the whole area was a construction zone, and there was noise coming from over the ridge. I checked various logs and I couldn't see any sign of [karicka](https://coord.info/PRV3G5)s replacement, so I decided to leave a new preform container in the end of a log covered with bark - refer to my photos, and I tried to hide it a little so the nearby construction wouldn't impact the cache. It looks like they may be building small cabins or something within this area to extend from the tiny cabins to the north, so I wouldn't be surprised if this lookout ceases to exist; I couldn't find any plans that advise what the future of this area will be, or when the tracks will (if) open. Thanks [Aussie Liahona](https://coord.info/PR34PKD) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This Friday-Saturday weekend, it was an overnight trip to Binna Burra with friends. The walks/hikes included [Forgotten Lookout](https://coord.info/GC4VP0G) (via Gwongoorool track), Bellbird circuit, Caves track, and [Split Rock](https://coord.info/GC50PR8), followed by a drive down the hill to Beechmont to walk Denham Scenic Reserve (Denham Falls, Lip Falls, Back Creek Falls). Friday's weather was superb for hiking, with it a little cooler and cloudy, but despite the unlikely forecast for rain, it fell overnight and Saturday morning saw drizzly conditions before lifting from late morning.
I followed the new road down from S 028° 11.564' E 153° 11.421' to within 100m. There is no discernible track at GZ any more and it's very overgrown with prickly stuff. I searched a few logs in the vicinity but couldn't find anything
Whilst hiking around Binna Burra today, we took a look at the Bellbird Lookout track, and it looks like it is still closed.
Asked Binna Burra about this track a few weeks ago was told it was open, clearly there was some miscommunication as the track was not signposted as closed from where we started but it only showed signs of light use.
Had a large python on the track in and from the lookout there were fantastic views of Egg rock and beyond
Could not find the cache, suspect that the original log was reduced to charcoal in the 2019 fires.
Found a log across the path close to CZ the cache is now of the uphill side of track. In the log.
Thank you for this cache

Binna Burra is open after being closed for a year following the bushfires of Sept/Oct 2019. This cache is NOT yet accessible due to the tracks being closed to this area at this time.
Please check the following website for further track closure information. Also the cafe and shop is still being rebuilt so eat in Beechmont or bring a picnic.

Visiting Binna Burra with a relative. This cache was one of the easier ones to grab on the afternoon that we arrived (we had limited time before sunset). On the walk I saw a potaroo, a wild dog (dingo?), an eastern whipbird and a few other birds that I didn't recognise. Brilliant bird noises the whole time.

Found it nice and easy. Thanks for the glasses wipes, we left a little bit of sunscreen.
Some interesting treasures suitable for first aid kit. Good hiding place guarded by spiders.
Girls get away to Binna Burra for walking trip.

Wit Nobby's Nuts for a day trip and Nobby and I had left the wives at the Tea House and headed down the track to get the two caches in this area.
There must have been a violent storm in the last couple of days as there were a number of detours around large fallen trees across the path.
We arrived at the search area and Nobby found the cache after we had been searching a few other spots.

At the end of a beautiful walk from Binna Burra was not only the dreamlike view, but also the cache of course.

Tftc. Followed the hint and used wooden stick to retrieve the container from its location. Favo point for absolutely fantastic views.
Lovely area awesome view from the lookout! Found the prize after some prodding around. TFTC
I was too early to meet up with my friend this morning, so I wandered down to this one. Had a nice chat with another hiker, and speculated on the fire that was burning in the trees across the valley.
Thanks for sharing the location

Lovely easy walk to a wonderful lookout. Found easily but had to be quick while muggles were distracted by the view.
Randomly stumbled across this when we were walking to the lookout! Very surprisingly but was very cool.

Didn't expect to end up here today. We originally planned to go to Killarney falls but they were closed. This was our second choice. Had a lovely lunch and came down here to find this geocache. Lovely views but watch out theres no fence. Tftc
Yes got it on this long walk , classed as a circuit walk but ended back at Birra Burra so had to walk back to Info centre for ute [ luckly downhill ] Found poor service at Info centre. TFTC
A bit unhappy because the phone would for some strange reason not connect and give us coords we went on the short hike to this very lovely spot - caching instincts lead Mrs H to the box anyway, TFTC!
Were on a guided walk from the Binna Burra Mountain Lodge, so weren't actually looking for it, but the guide showed it to our group purely for educational purposes, so a very easy smiley . TFTC - beautiful place! Sneaky Squirrels
It was a nice walk with my family and a beautiful view.
Nice quite easy find with Noo82 and Albybops

This was our second walk for the day and it was a humid walk to GZ. We were staying at Binna Burra so it was a quick walk from there. The view was amazing once we got there. The cache was found in good condition, nice and dry and easy to sign.
A beautiful view and a great geocache location. TFTC.

Out and about enjoying the end of year break we found ourselves up at Binna Burra and decided to nab a few unfound caches. After a nice stroll along the tracks we found ourselves nearby GZ and enjoying the views. After a few minutes we nabbed the cache and added our names to the logbook.

What a beautiful walk this was. Didn't go too close to the edge, but the views are wonderful.

Found it together with RockpommelsFriend. This was a short walk with many different kinds of views and rainforest. Tftc!
This was a nice walk with an amazing view close to this cache. It offered a different view of the rainforest than our yesterdays walk, the cave circuit. This here was more like we expected a rainforest.

This cache brings you to a beautiful spot. We are really enjoying our second day in Lamimgton National Ark. Great walks. TFTC TNLN
This should have been lookout, falling trees.
About 20m from GZ a large tree had Falken across and along the path ripping up the ground down the hill. We had to scramble through the mess of branches to reach the eclipse seat

Found this one on our walk of the 19km trail, thankfully it wasn't off the trail too far cause big brother wouldn't give me the time to go for the hello world cache, said we needed to push on.Thanks Aussie.
Out for a shorter walk with Mrs CF on our 30th wedding anniversary. Fortunately we had the place to ourselves and a quick find was made. We then spent some time enjoying the great views. TFTC.
A short afternoon walk with The-Shredder. Was a nice lookout. The cache location is not very nice. I don't like putting my hand in such places. TFTC Skyryser
TFTC Aussie Liahona our first for 2016. Found with GeoGirlfriend on a nice walk. Happy New Year
My third walk with the little chikins today. We did the caves circuit first. Then after a bite to eat we did the Rainforest circuit. Then we headed on out to this cache and the other one just down the cliff line from here. Eloise was the one who found this. I was looking in one spot and I heard her say here it is Mummy. A nice little spot to hide it in too! The views from here were awesome. I was very careful in holding the hands of both little chikins so they didn't end up having to learn to fly. Thanks for bringing us out here Aussie Liahona.

Early morning trip down from Toowoomba with kestal and firebreather03 to meet up with IolantheK at Browns Plains before heading up to Binna Burra. I have been looking forward to caching here for ages...and was simply the chauffeur today, happy to go anywhere and had no part in coordinating the day...but loved every minute of it.
After walking many kms we were still good for a couple more. Hitting the Cliff Track we picked up the pace with the rolling thunder. Had to laugh at the name of the previous cache as we had a real "Hello World" moment on the way to this one when we took a wrong turn and the path ended up going nowhere but down!!! Had a sinking feeling on approach to the lookout which was filled with tourists!! Thankfully the GPS was swinging the other way and we were eventually able to make the find with all those people oblivious to what we were up to. TFTC Aussie Liahona.

kestal wanted to take a bit of a walk today and said that Eskies5 was available, so I suggested an adventure at Binna Burra. I've been here a few times with other folk, but there's still a couple of caches that need collecting! So we agreed to meet up at Browns Plains, where I piled in to Eskies5's car, to find we also had kestal's son fb03 in tow
On our arrival at Binna Burra we took the Border Track (collecting the data for the Sudoku for my companions on the way) then continued onto Ship's Stern Circuit then right around Dave's Circuit to collect a couple of Surprises, then took the extra 5 or so kms to get Coomera1 done [^] Then there was the lunch break back at the car park while the others solved the Sudoku, followed by finding another puzzle, then it was time for 4 weary adventurers to take the walk around Bellbird Track and Cliff Walk to collect the 2 caches here. It was a slow march, but we all enjoyed the views, and tried to ignore the thunder!
A wrong turn on our way from the first cache took us to a very dead end right on the cliff edge but we doubled back and found the right path. We didn't get to enjoy the lookout as there was a crowd of about 20 people with a tour guide, so we went straight to GZ. Here we located the hiding spot straight away but missed the cache, so after a couple of minutes searching elsewhere, we checked there again and a longer arm needed to be applied TFTC, Aussie Liahona.

Out and about with Mrs Esky, firebreather03 and IolantheK venturing to Binna Burra. After a couple of messages back and forth a plan and list was made. Departing Toowoomba just as the sun was rising, Mrs Esky, fb03 and myself made our way to stop off number one to grab IolantheK. Just as we were discussing how we would meet up, the little bumble bee was right there in front of us. With the car all packed with everything needed for a decent stroll we were off. After a quick stop off to grab a coffee we made the final stretch to Binna Burra. Pulling up all bags were packed, sunscreen on but I forgot the bug spray! Not one, nor two but three little suckers were removed before the end of the day!!
Continuing on the path we made our way to the next cache before stopped in our tracks because the track didn't not continue. Well it did but was straight over a cliff!! Back tracking a short way we got ourselves onto the right path and made our way to GZ. A large tourist group was enjoying the view so we missed out here. We started our search and looked in a few spots but no luck. It was finally spotted and an arm went into retrieve it. Great hide and TFTC Aussie Liahona

Found with L,M,B and T on a short 2km return walk. Had looked for this one previously when here before but to no eval. Today I found it all by myself
Found with Brother Colin after a day of hiking and caching (and a Binna Burra burger...OMG!!) in Lamington. We bounced down a steep drive to within about 150 metres of the cache. The view from GZ is great! Thanks for bringing us here.
Found while on a break at Binna Burra. We walked a lot but this is the only cache we found in the area. Thanks for placing it here. It was good to check out Shipstern before completing the circuit.
Fortunately a good geocaching friend was coming up here today and was willingly offering to replace this cache for us. I've received notification that this cache is now back in play.
Happy caching everyone and enjoy the view but be careful near the edge. Cache is not at the edge of the precipice but if you have any kidlets with you keep a close eye on them anyway. Have fun!

Blacklegend, Scotty Neville & I were up the mountain today looking forward to a great day walking thru the rainforest and picking up a few caches on the way.
It was COLD with outside temperature of 13 degrees but we knew that we would soon heat up as we walked and nothing was stopping us from grabbing some great caches!!!
This was our first stop, we had checked with the CO to see if they would be happy for this to be replaced if we couldn't find it.
After giving the area a good scan we agreed that the cache had been muggled so we placed a new container in the same general location but a bit more secure.
Thanks AL Great View!! TFTC SL Glad to help out in return for your generosity with our caches.

Kids wife and I had a good look for it but we couldn't find it. We had a great day though. What a beautiful spot
