Hate to do this but I really think this one has to go as the waypoints are all gone. Sorry steptoe
Thanks for confirming the locks are gone, I thus hereby archive the cache.
I seem to have missed the previous log that stated the locks were gone - must have been one of those busy weeks when I skipped reading logs due to a need to sleep between work shifts.
In this case - Lock It Out Eddie....

Wish we had read Hoojars log before attempting this one today. Indeed there is no lock to be found at WP1 any more. Looks like the council has had a big clean up. Shame, this sounds like it would have been a fun cache.
Decided to give this one a go after completing a nearby earthcache. We hadn't read Hoojar's previous log, but thought we knew what we were looking for. But alas, the locks had been removed. A real shame because we had read about a cache similar to this one and would loved to have completed this one.
I thought I'd have a go at LTF (last to find) before the 'great cut' due for Monday. I parked on the north side and headed across to WP1. It took a while, but I eventually found it. I calculated WP2, which seemed reasonable, so headed off for a bridge walk, something I'd really been looking forward to. I got to my calculated WP2 and spent a while looking, but to no avail.
Thanks for a great idea, and sorry it is going (and without me finding it )

too dumm again! GPS always brings us to the same lock... not the one we expect! As others state, for a difficulty 2 too hard!
Find this cache prior to 10 September or you may really have some trouble!

THANKS to Hoojar for the Council update.
So a last-minute "hint" for you all.
Yes, the info at WP1 is on a Padlock (dots, not words engraved on it), and final GZ is also a padlock (no words added to it, just a hidden log).
You have 2 weeks to make a find, then this will sadly have to be archived.
The locks were spare ones I had without keys, so no chance for me to save them.

All is still fine with this cache. Having been in the area for work this week, I took the opportunity to verify that the cache and waypoint are still in place.
Of course just because it is there does not mean you will work it out too quickly.

At very long last this nemesis is defeated. Our first visit was in September 2011. In the end it was where we expected it to be but meticulousness is a requirement for finding this. It was a gorgeous, sunny winter's day today. So thanks, Steptoe, for a challenging, thoughtful cache that brought us here for repeat visits. And thanks for your assistance without giving the game away. We pondered over the logistics of actually installing the container. SL (which is in pretty good shape but is easiest to extract with a tool) TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
I just saw teh following in the local paper, this will greatly affect this cache:

Thanks to Hoojar for pointing out upcoming maintenance that will affect this cache.
For now, it is well and truly available, and I will monitor the RMS action and see what can be done.
It is likely I will have to simply remove and archive the cache at the time, so find it while you can folks.
At least the article will give you a major hint if you needed one.

For a difficulty of 2 this is proving very difficult.
Got what we believe were the numbers at WP1 but WP2 seemed to be across a very busy road with a guard rail!

Hmmm. Second DNF here. Confirmed WP1 did our calculations but just couldn't locate anything at GZ. Will have to do some more thinking. Cheers....Gaztek
Nice idea for the cache. Fascinating custom! Found the numbers, but not the final. Resorted to the clue, but unsure if it was a cryptic clue, or no clue at all!
I have no idea about this one. Couldn't find the info at WP1. Had a nice walk across the bridge anyway.
Got to GZ but no luck there. We'll be back when we have a bit more time. Cheers.... Gaztek
Found wp1 in May but ran out of time to complete. Came back today for the find. Went for a nice bike ride with the kids back and forth along the bridge. Never realised how steep it is from north to south until doing it on bike towing a kiddie trailer with the two little kids in it. Hard work!! TFTC.
458. Wollongong and surrounds appears to be a caching blind spot and this one kept that roll, well rolling.
No luck with this one! There were many keyless 'containers' at WP1 and the GPS was pointing 3m into empty space. would have ventured down if it was not assured it's wheel chair accessible. Spent certainly half an hour checking all the numbers on all containers, however, none of them comes in three digit numbers. The reason I don't like multies and puzzles, as you spend much time on something and success rate is low.... well, won't insist!

Had help from mrryanmurray for WP1, and have grabbed the cache... awesome idea... and I found this a really hard cache...this is my 4th visit (about 2hours dedicated to this one over 4 visits.
The Log book is wet.. Needs replacing, but had nothing on me to repair.. Next person to visit will need to replace log book.
Thanks for this challanging cache

Found WP1 quite easily. Went to look for WP2 but ran out of time looking. Will be back to complete.
This was a very clever multi. I was a bit stumped at WP1 for a while until I worked out what was going on and really, you could find WP1 even if you are blind. Both coords were right on the money for me. I had some difficulty extracting the log and even tore the edge a bit trying to use my fingers. I had to come back with some tweezers. Thanks for a great cache.
We parked on the southern side of the bridge with the aim of just strolling across but to our surprise we found this neat little multi had been placed since our last visit when we fired up the gps. After easily locating WP1 we returned to where we started and searched for way to long before Mrs Stilllookin came up with the goods. Retrieval of the log proved a challange in its own right as it may have been damp at some stage and had swelled up a little. May require a CO check just to be sure.
Thanks for the very well thought out clever cache

Third time lucky!
I was driving by for work and couldn't help but stop. Eventually I turned up the correct location. Good to tick this one off!
Cheers

Could this be a new nemesis cache?! Second visit in two days (with three caches left in my 30km radius I am trying to clear them out)...
... Anyway, this time I found the (now) obvious first WP, plugged in the details and went off to GZ, only to again be confronted with (seemingly) hundreds of padlocks. In fading light I had to give up, but I did get a consolation cache on the nearby Earthcache.
Grrrrrr, I'll be back again I guess

A very windy and busy day on the bridge today. We were going to mark off this and the earth cache to clear our 30km radius from home. Sadly that was not to be. With numerous padlocks to choose from the only one we could find with the correct number patten had us heading to a location that was obviously wrong. Disheartened by this and another DNF at Stanwell Park we headed home to lick our wounds.
From conversations with other cachers I now know where we went wrong and hopefully will be back very soon to tick this one off!
Cheers

After spending the day in the city finishing off some special caches we decided to head home via our beautiful coastline and a worthwhile detour it was too! Thank Steptoe for a well thought out and interesting multi. Even though we are local to the area, this was our first walk along the Sea Cliff bridge and all the extras we found on this journey was made more special as we ourselves are celebrating 36 years of marriage next week. TFTH
Found WP1 fairly easily, and our maths sent us to a likely location. However, the final container eluded us. Looking back at previous logs, we may have had it in hand and dismissed it without proper examination.
Found at 17:20 while on a caching trip from Adelaide. We loved everything about this cache:
- A 2 stage multi
- A little challenge at WP1
- A great walk at a great location
- Lateral thinking at GZ. (Took us a while)

Found wpt1 OK, well I think I did, as it sent me off to the obvious place, but at GZ no cache could I see...
Spent 1/2 an hour looking for the first clue at WP1 without success. Many padlocks around although I thought that this may be just a distraction. Will keep a watch on this cache to see if others find it......Enjoyed the view and walk along this magnificent structure. Thanks. Bommy
Well, well, well...It's our 16th wedding anniversary today and guess what Mr H received from Mrs H? A wonderful gift inspired by this cache!
After bypassing WP1 at first due to a photographer camped *right* on the coords; when we came back, we found several possibilities for two 3-digit numbers. Plugging all these possibilities into the gizmo, though, didn't come up with anything that looked like it would end up anywhere near the bridge. It was a bit chilly to be standing around calculating too much, though, so we cut things a bit short and put this one on the backburner for another day.
Found WP1 fairly easily but then had trouble at GZ not thinking outside the normal techniques. Had a rethink and came up trumps. Thanks for a great cache that we completed in the dark with great views along the coast to Wollongong.
Tricky! Found WP without much trouble and not having read the clue but WP2 turned out to be a little harder.
After probably 20+ minutes searching we needed to turn to a higher power for inspiration and finally came up with the goods.
Very cleverly done micro cache. Thanks steptoe.

Searched for this one with Damo. He spotted the numbers at WP1 quite quickly and doing the math showed a logical location. We walked along the bridge admiring the strata in the cliff face and the water below. But after 20 minutes (maybe more) of searching for the cache we walked away empty handed. After a message from above, we realised that we probably had had the cache in our hands and didn't look hard enough. So we drove back and found it within a minute. Clever cache and great use of the bridge - a great walk.
Got this one late at night with some mates who were keen on racing decked out office chairs along the footpath of the bridge
Loved this one. The coords nearly had me as I thought it was a trick question, but then took the closer of my two options and bingo had the cache in hand.
Took a TB with me that wanted to see bridges around the world.

We've walked this bridge before but for some reason never noticed all those things before! Struggled to find exactly what we needed at first so headed off to chance our luck for the cache anyway, and bingo! After speaking to a friend later on we now know we did find WP1 but overlooked it. It was a great day to walk the bridge as the wind was very strong and the waves today were huge!

found this after 2 attempts, I didn't have a pen so I left a small black line of bike grease, clever hiding spots, thanks
Having had my own cache here GCRBJB I know the beauty that is associated with this area, but what a day to come and do this cache. It was bitterly cold with a howling wind pushing across the bridge, thankfully the sun was out.
The waypoints here are a cleverly designed feature that blend in well. They certainly weren't here the last time I was out here. GZ is something that I'd seen in Victoria on a recent trip. Thanks for bringing me back here, its always enjoyable to see this south coast tourist attraction. Thanks Steptoe.

I must admit that this is a brilliant contructed and well thought through cache!!! I wish there were lots more creative caches around like this!
As I walked the sea bridge a couple of times already I knew what to expect at WP1 and I was right. Good use of the surroundings at WP1 as well as at GZ.

Was coming home from Sydney last night and thought might attempt a FTF. Got the WP1 info and proceeded to GZ but ran out of torchlight .
This morning came back again on the way through and cache found fairly quickly. A FTF! The 4th in 4 days.
This is the third cache I've had a go at at this bridge but it is a worthy spot for caching.
I quite like how this one was put together and the use of WP1 and the final container were excellent. A good job. TFTC!
