I am giving up on this one. It's disappeared again, guess its some teenager who comes past here on a regular basis and thinks its funny to throw it into the river every time I replace it.
Will relocate this one to the new bridge over Ross River down at the port.

Tried a late night cache but no luck! Torch and probing fingers found only spiderwebs. May have wandered again?
After doing a maintenance run with Corikra this cache has been replaced. Of course I got to log a find on this one thanks Corikra I will get around to completing this series !
Checked tonight, and yes it's gone!
I seriously can't believe this one has been going missing again. I'll try my best to replace it soon, it's getting one more chance, before I go and find a new bridge for my series.

2 groups in our game couldn't find it on the weekend......think it's gone for a swim
I could not believe it. My first cache in Townsville and I could not find it. I returned with reinforcements and still no luck. Perhaps it has been pushed in too far?
After a recent DNF i saw this cache was now available so thought I'd get out there to get it!

Well well well. Found this one Really quickly... however retrieval was a bit of a process. One of the kids had to put their hand in to grab it...but instead pushed it in out of reach!!! NOOOOOOO..... so after much discussion the retrieval ended up involving a phone (for torch), stick, jockey strap and pen. But we GOT IT!!!!!!!! Couldnt leave knowing we would have made it a DNF for the next poor person...so persistance paid off Thanks for the cache Corikra TN Left squinkee
Yep searched high and low and it would seem this one has met a watery grave at the hands of some muggle.
Checked, and indeed the cache was missing. Have replaced it, so it's ready to be found again
Next chance I get I will check if this one is still in place. If anyone is doing the series and this one is the only clue missing (and you were unable to find the cache, of course), let me know and I'll send you the hint.
Didn't find this one today
Hope it's still here. Did have a snake slither past my feet on a path leading towards the bridge yes Cat did a scared cry wearing things didn't make the experience any more easier. Found snake no cache

Checked every single handrail, awkward with so many muggles, though pretended to be enjoying the view.
I have a feeling this has been properly muggled

Quite an easy find once you accept the need to poke your fingers into holes covered in spider webs.

Had a good look for this one but I could not find it. It may have been muggled.
Nice walk over the bridge. Saw someone stand up paddle boarding down the river! TFTC!
#38 We have driven by a few times, and every time the compass needle has pointed to a different spot on the bridge. Today, we took a punt and walked straight onto GZ.
After sticking fingers into a number of spiderweb filled holes, the cache was found. Now how to sign the log and check the clue while so many muggle walkers and cyclisits are passing by..... The old untied shoe lace trick. SL TN left sig coin and had to tie her lace while I was down there because it was in fact untied.
TFTC
Can confirm that the clue is missing.

This one took me a bit of hunting. Prodding fingers where no man should. I eventually came up with the beast safe and sound. The clue seems to be missing from this one though? I have posted up the co-ords that worked for me today. A nice view of the river. TFTC corika
My second in the 'walk over'series.
I managed to park close enough and make a short stroll to GZ.
I had to hunt a bit to find it and found the cache in the last place I looked.
Unfortunately there was no hint for the 'walk over' series inside so I will have to e-mail the owner to get the clue.

Cheers and happy caching.

1410 ended up on the wrong side of the roadway... had to skip traffic to find this one. SL, TNLN, TFTC

Nice quick find, young eagle eyes found it again. Need to go back and get the clue off of it.

cross the river every day. but now i finally found the time to log your cache. Thank you!
Amazing how long it can take two people to locate a small mint tin. But team Meggie and Vectorz persisted and eventually it was right in front of our eyes. TFTC.
Went for a walk around the river this morning. Finally walked across this side of the bridge and got the cache.
Thanks

Found it No. 3896 ... stood in the middle and watched the water ... TNLN ... TFTC corikra
A nice quick find while taking a stroll across the bridge. As I approached, I could see the cache, so it was in hand, log signed and cache replaced in no time.
Thanks for another one.
Thanks for another one.
Found quickly despite traffic. Sat down to enjoy the view as we signed off on this one. Tnsl, left 4 of clubs calling card.
Lots of traffic - cars, bikes, walkers - so walked across a few times till there was a break to grab it, then took it off bridge for a few minutes to sign log, another walk back to replace it.TNLN (though I didn't see any tradeables anyhow, and didn't look for any clue as am seldom in Townsville). TFTC - and the exercise! - Corikra.
Found safe and well in the busy little location. I was hanging onto my GPS and the cache for fear of dropping them into the depths below.

Walked down here from the nearby gardens. I should have found it first, but I was foolish enough to follow the GPS right to zero. Moneydork adjusted for the standard Australian error of about 10m and found it straight away Cheers Gav [9045]
Found with MoneyDork & Rediguana. Monydork got this one, Rediguana and I helped work out where it wasn't! TFTC corikra
#200 ~ I was very worried I'd drop this cache into the water!!! [:o] But I didn't. I was very happy to find my 200th cache while visiting here in Townsville [^] TFTC!!

Had the wrong side of the the Hwy. Damn. walked up the rite side having a look every couplke of meters. Spoted the cache and SL TFTC
Will check on th e cache as soon as I can. Until then, please email me for the clue
Found on the way home tonight. It was past 10pm so there was no foot traffic on the bridge which made for a quick pick up, sign and return.
Thanks
Thanks
An early morning find. The hardest decision to make was which side of the bridge to park. A wrong guess here may mean a longer walk....so choose wisely. The co-ordinated placed us in close proximity to the cache and from there it was a short search to identify its place of concealment. TNLN and returned the cache in exactly the same spot it was found.
So busy enjoying the view and the turtles that I almost walked past it! Found and TNLN TFTC !
We found this one during a gap in the pedestrian and pushbike traffic that uses the location.

Sorry Everyone, but it seems the clue is missing from the cache .
In a few days I am going to Brisbane (for a longer period) and I don't think I will have time to fix it. Please contact me through the website and I'll send it to you.

I was at Bringabitofbreadalong and saw this was 'only' 450 metres away so I walked. Of course I headed along the wrong side of the bridge first so ended up walking double the distance on a hot afternoon. Never fear! Got to GZ and looked where I thought it would be with no luck. Moved along about 15 metres and made the find.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Almost missed this one. Compass goes a little haywire and points thirty feet away. S'all good though, eventually got to it
My daughter found this cache, I was introducing my two daughters to this activity. A good cache to start the day with. TNLN. Thanks a good begginers cache. 8D
Had a great walk down one side of the bridge and then down the other but we found it

First ever find. Pretty ecstatic! Good procrastination. TFTC xoxo Melissa's Army
My new GPS was accurate enough to ensure that I was on the right side, and the satellites were in alignment enough for the cache to be in the first place that I looked.
My first find and feeling very proud. Took two geo-grandkids with me and I think they might be hooked. I could not find any clues to the bridges!
Wrong side of the bridge. Too tired to bother walking back to it. So will do another day.
Found at 2:15pm. Went the wrong way across the bridge so we doubled back and walked the last hundred metres. An easy find and quite safe with most muggles doing 80km/h past the GZ. As with the previous logger, we did not grab the extra in the cache , so may have to return again one day.

Easy find, but forgot to look for clues for the 'puzzle cache'. Oh well, will have to have another ride along the river and across the bridge. TFTC
We did the walk and hoped that we were walking on the right side and for once we made the right decision SL TFTC
Found this one with a bit of effort as unlike all of the others there was significant error in GZ.
Guessed that someone had replaced in the the wrong spot?
I moved it closere to the coordinates published.

Thanks Corika for the series.
Now I have enough information to complete the mystery.

Third find for the day. This was another easy one but the were HEAPS of muggles. Bumblebee spotted this one and grabbed it. Ballbag helped out so it didn't end up in the drink. Signed the log at 1400.
