My first solo caching trip. A long one down the entire length of the Sturt Highway. TFTC
The weather forecast for today wasn't that great but I thought I'd go for a drive and see what happened. As it turned out it was foggy on the way up but dry all morning. But it was cold.No problem with this one. After a short walk it was a nice quick find.TFTC
Today out and about on 166 of 183 days to get my daily cacher Sapphire Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
Found it! Pulled off the highway here and made the short wander to find the cache. More great views with the cars whizzing past not too far below. TFTC!
Working my way back from Sedan after a FTF chase. For once I didnt have another car centimetres from my rear bumper, and was finally given a chance to pull off safely and make a find here. The log book is suffering a bit here for lack of a watertight bag. Apologies for not having a spare on me. Great views. Thanks for this hide DJC3575.
Been passed here a million times, but usually stop in Turo, so no need to stop here. With no van on the back and wanting to do one last cache before home, this was perfect. Its amazing what hidden gems you find, while caching, not only the cache!!A great finish to our 500 consecutive days of Geocaching ( yep that why we are at here at 35 degrees!!)I think we also may have hit a personal best daily number. Thanks for help us achieve that.
Traveling between the Riverland and the Barossa with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies.
A little bit of a convoluted route picking up a few unfinished caches and ones needed for challenges.
Now we can say we have walked a section of the Kidman trail!
Nice views from here.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19793. Day 6 of our holiday and today Robmc, the geo-doggies and I are leaving Renmark and making our way to Tanunda for a week. Started with some caches in Berri and picked up a few more along the way.
Ploughed our way through the long grass before finding the cache. Admired the views and then walked back along the narrow path. That was better.
Thanks DJC3575

Today I headed out for an afternoon of caching in the Barossa. It was a lovely afternoon and enjoyed seeing all the autumnal leaves on the vines very pretty.
Found a nice variety of caches and still so many to come back for.
Found 29 with one dnf so was pretty happy with my effort .
Quick find and sign here after a dodgy traffic manoeuvre that I had over committed to. Nice view here TFTC

Day 1 Adelaide to Monash
Found with mogni on route to monash. It turns out that we can't get in to the B abd B till 4 pm, so killing time finding caches on route heading to monash and leaving a trail of smileys behind us. quick find.
Myself and mogni came up to the river land to go to MacCabe Corner and find the virtual there plus drive the mail trail in murray sunset national park plus the 4 x 4 track in cooltong national park. The original idea was to go through to mildura but with weather 37, 45 , 37 degrees fore cast we changed plans and stayed in monash instead. Any caches that where found damaged where replaced and any logbooks found full or with 2 or 3 spaces left where replaced.

While camping near Nuriootpa for a couple of days, we decided to do an assortment of caches around the area today with ilook4geo. Some were a bit more difficult to spot than others, but we ended up with a good haul of caches to add to our tally. Each log was initialed and all was put back as found before we moved on. This was one of the caches we found.
Thank you to DJC3575 for placing this cache with beautiful views.

Staying near Nuriootpa and doing some caching around the district with goingplaces2. It was a fun day and we found a good number of caches. All logs were signed, then replaced. Job done! Time to get moving. TFTC.
A last minute decision to visit Snappy Tom Cats in Nuriootpa and grab a few DNF's and others that have been teasing us on the map for some time. the Rat and Adder met up with Brisal5 who needed to do some maintenance around the area.
With the Adder the only one needing a smiley on this one a quick stop, short walk and the cache was in hand. Signed and replaced while admiring the view. TFTC

Hi there DJC3575.
We found your cache **"Kidman views"** at 11:34:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 22216).
Our plan for the day was to start off with the "H70BDMRSG" series, but our direct route appeared to traverse private property, so we took a rather round about way to get them done.. It seems like we have just been attempting "birthday" caches lately because we have done 40, 50 60 and now 70.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. We found 19 caches today & DNF'd 5. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic travels around Australia.
It's no wonder that our grandkids have lost interest in caching, there's no thrill for them any more. The trend of placing small caches without swaps is increasing, especially in a spots such as this - where a much larger container could have been placed. Doesn't anyone want to place large, kid friendly caches any more. [?]
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
PS: Following on from recent comments received; our log or stamp is not necessarily placed in the last spot. If we find a blank spot in the book when we open the log - that is where it goes.

Adelaide trip March 2019. Day 2. Today took me all the way from Balranald to Adelaide via Mildura and Barmara. This rest area looks a bit neglected, but there was a cache so it was well worth stopping.
Thanks.

This year our plan was to spend our "summer vaction" in Australia.
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we found a lot of caches. This was one of it.
Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".
Greetings from the south of Germany

Found on the way home this evening after a trip to Mildura. Didn't realise the Kidman trail goes through here, very interesting. The cache was pretty well buried but Geomum made a recovery! Thanks for the hunt this evening:)
Slight disappointment coming up empty on first attempt but found second time around. I must say im very impressed at the prompt maintenance done on this cache, after reporting missing last time i was here it was replaced that day. I wish more Co's were that prompt at repairs big thankyou to DJC3575+KKM for this cache.
Agree with Jem

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Moving day today, with the car fixed and the 'cheap' deal over at the caravan park it's back to free camping for a while.
After moving the caravan and setting up a cooking fire so we could have jaffles for lunch it was time to find some geocaches.
With rain threatening we decided to tackle a few caches on wet weather only roads as it may be the last chance we get in this area. [^] What a day we had, scenic views, historical points of interest, great camoed caches! Just the best that geocaching has to offer.
TFTC and helping us keep our streak alive.164 days continuous geocaching today!
