End of the road as water too deep. Nice spot for lunch though as I head back.

26-Mar-22
Nice hide. Can’t quite remember why a week later writing up the logs (another week and the ford of the stream was memorable - just take it slowly next time)
• doing an Onslow Saturday drive, and stopped here on the way.

On a trip getting some caches with kiscardi. A quick find
Thanks

23-Mar-22
Well the weather held so we could find a day with nothing else interrupting a days caching. The road, stated as a dry weather road was in perfect driving condition today. We enjoyed the caches and exploring a new area.

I shifted my snail shell to Roxburgh yesterday for a few days to enable me to locate and sign off a few caches up in thar hills.

Another muggle showed up and asked if I needed help. I replied that I didn't as I had just found the cache. You should have seen the blank look I got.Big Grin

Cheers for the cache.

Reached our turn around point. Quick count in log book means I was about the 20th person to find since 2012.TFTC

Stopped here on the way towards Styx via Lake Onslow this afternoon. Found the cache after a brief search, there were plenty of places it could be. Signed log, TFTC.

Cracker day for a cache trip up here. Box was an easy find and SL. Returned to hide and off up the road for the last one up here. TFTC

19-Jan-17
Took the wrong road to the GZ, following an off-line map that didn't mention the signposted road back to Miller's flat. Stopped and talked to some muggles in their car in the middle of the road like it was the norm. You never know when a smile and a quick chat can lead to aide if stuck in a pickle on the roads around here. Parked at the ford which was a wee bit high, and returned to pick up the cache after the wery last one at the tops with the weather on the turn ([refer to log](https://coord.info/GLQ3YBRH)). Thankfully a quick park'n'grab and with 400ml in hand plucked from a wee budge as the event might have shifted the camo in the hide; SL and grabbed the goods in a PVC baggy in the time I had left. Remade the hide and scarpered back to the car to take the drier well formed road back to the LOL cache gate. My knees were a bit wobbly after the several km return trip walk to Berry Apt cache and all the gear changes on the hills. Yeah there were heaps of gates to open and close. Tick 5 of 6 on my Big OE (Onslow-fisherman Experience) to Lake Onslow. TFTC Jim.

Stopped near here for our morning tea break en route to the serpentine church and onto Alex.
Perfect day for it.

11-Dec-11
I initially found a great hiding place, but it wasn't the right one!
A second pair of eyes soon spotted the correct placement, and the cache was quickly signed. TFTC

23-Oct-11
WEren't sure if we were going to do this one and the next, but seeing such a small distance on the GPS I was coaxed into it! Lots of bunnies & hares around here.... almost as prolific as the fishermen!!! One just pulled into GZ parking area as we came back from Berry Apt.
TFTC.

23-Oct-11

An easy find, now to ride the bikes back into the cold heas wind. Pity we didn't spot "Berry Apt " on the GPS. Oh well, an excuse to come back for another ride in this maginificent countryside.

19-Apr-10
Found 17/4/10. Ford just deep enough, but no problems, then find the caches and then lunch in the shelter of the rocks with Mr and Mrs PIpedream.Great cache.

03-Apr-10
The river was only about 10cm deep, so no problems with the ford.
+ a large marble, - nothing.

21-Mar-10
FTF. Right by the stream that stopped me riding out this way last time I was here. Had been heavy rain in the week before and the stream was more like a river and too deep to take the bike across. Had to back-track to Millers Flat.

21-Mar-10
In the middle of nowhere when down the road came two motorbikes, one decided to play in the nearby ford so the hunt didn't start till they moved on.
Thanks
