Did a little walk to see the spit today and got this on my way back on the land side. Having seen the comments about gorse was concerned, but unnecessarily as only one bit to step over today. Great views all along here. Think I can see some people testing the shortcut a bit early and falling over in the distance. I'll stick to the spit and go the long way. Tftc (p.s. signed the little log but think there's a big one going in there too).
Nice to find this one after the last attempt was done from the beachside. Low tide and a nice walk in the sunshine today!!
Great to be out here! Low tide, so much of 'nothing', a few birds. Don't like no hint normally but at GZ there was no doubt, easy find, tftc!
We were on our way to find some sand for the 5/5 earthcache in Wellington. On our way we found this cache. Not that difficult. It was raining very hard. We got some advice for this walk from the camping owner (campsite was close to this cache, and she was walking with her dog at this place very often). Thanks for placing this cache.
Found as we were spending a day on the beach. The pen in the cache failed, so enclosed is a photo as a proof of find.
Thanks for the cache

What a beautiful spot to venture out to! The water was good for a dip, and the tree provided great shade (after squeezing through the gorse...). Nice spot for afternoon relax! TFTC!!
27 November 2021 10:21. Number 10429 for me. Low tide? Let's go for it! Called in on this one on the way back from the Earthcache. Spotted as I was heading in, which was a good thing as it made me decide that braving the gorse was worth it! TFTC
I heard, “I can see it”, I looked up and lo and behold so could I. Found on the walk back from collecting sand for GC2KDQD. TFTC bumandworker.
Down for a long weekend, chasing PWGT caches with Itchyfeet2020 - had time for this one too!
Made sure our timing was right - low tide yhey! Look a geotrail, managed to weave through the gorse with help of my trusty crutch, and for Itchyfeet2020 a healthy sized stick - no blood drawn.
TFTC bumandworker lots of fun

Can't thank W.E.K.A enough. Their pain was our gain. We had already been told about the tide for the sand sample so that was on our side (thanks Ethness). Waited until 5pm, which is a nice time to visit. For this cache we read the past logs and started preparing for mega gorse with the use of big sticks, but a prior geotrail showed the way and we fared well compared to some others epic journey's. TFTC great fun in the mental preparation
Getting to this cache proved somewhat of an epic journey for us. Clearly it would have paid to read previous logs before starting. Our first error was attempting it at high tide, and our second error was walking along the narrow strip of beach on the seaward side of the spit. When we were level with the cache, there was 90 metres of gorse between us and it. We carried on until we found a place where we could get through, but getting back to the cache on the other side proved impossible to do without getting wet. So back to the start of the spit again, and try the other side. This proved successful, and reassuringly a potential hiding place was visible from some distance. Once we were near, the cache was readily visible and easily retrieved. TFTC
On my way out to the end of the peninsular to pick up some sand, I called in here to grab this cache as well. Very prickly area to get to but still okay at the moment to push my way through. Once at GZ no problems finding the cache, all good here. TFTC.
#1499. Day 6 of a 9 day caching holiday in the Tasman region with GB Leader. After heading over the Takaka Hill yesterday, today we explored the area around our eco accommodation in Wainui Bay, as far as the road goes. Picked up the PWGT cache first then headed out for this one. Pretty gorsey access to get to it but made it without mishap. Then headed a bit further west to pick up some sand for a challenge.
Cache reasonably easy to find. Tftc b&w. Greetings from Wellington.

It's a while since I've been over to the Bay so I compiled a list of what I wanted to do. Then I realised it would be a good idea to begin with this cache so I could beat the tide, so that's what I did. I've lost count of the number of times I've been in the vicinity and for one reason or another have not walked along the spit so today was the day. As it turned out I probably could have walked along the inner beach at high tide but it was good to have a reasonable width of beach to walk on. Having read previous logs I was a little concerned I might have to fight my way through gorse but as it turned out gorse was not an issue and the cache was spotted from a distance. Thanks for placing a cache here !
#8540. I was staying with friends in Takaka and heading back to Nelson today. But I needed to visit the Wainui sandspit so I could collect a sample of sand needed for a 5/5 Earthcache placed in Oriental Bay in Wellington (Arenophilia). What is the connection you are wondering. Well the sand for that beach in Wellington was shipped over using sand mined out in this very bay!
Well this one proved to be quite an adventure. The CO said you can park 10m from the cache at low tide. Allow more time if visiting at High Tide. Well I wanted to prove you could get here at high tide. So picked the biggest spring tide of the year and set off to GZ. The track was under water in several places on the way to the spit. Headed out to the outer beach and it was a very narrow walk between gorse and sea. Got to end of the spit and walked around many tidal inlets on the spit to reach the sand collecting spot. This cache was still nearly 200m away but water was already up at the grass level. So off with the boots and I waded along in the water to avoid the gorse on the spit. Was very pleased when I reached the cache area that the gorse parted and I could walk bare foot to the cache. It was a quick find and sign. Then it was back into the tidal water to retrieve my pack and boots and begin the long journey back down the beach and back the car. So yes its achievable at high tide but expect to do a lot of walking and wading. Thanks bumandworker for the adventure and the cache. Favourite for this one.

Day 7 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
(My apologies for the delayed logging but I'm in catch-up mode)
Seeing as I can't be in America right now, I'm touring around the South Island instead. During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
After my huge drive of yesterday, I had planned today to be a bit more leisurely. I was delighted to get to spend some time in Takaka. It's been too long since I was last here, and I have wanted to get back here for a while to try to finish off an Earthcache I started about 2 years ago, so was using that as a great excuse to find a few others too.
What a stunning place Golden Bay is! The weather certainly helped too, as I drove from beach to beach enjoying all the scenery to be lapped up.
Having been brought here by the lure of finally getting to complete a particular Earthcache, I was happy to have a crack at finding any other caches along the way such as this one. This was a quick and easy find at GZ. With no-one around I was able to sort out the usual field caching administration and replace everything as found before carrying on my walk.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Stunning day to be out and about here. Dropped a friend off so he could walk the Abel Tasman and decided it was too good an opportunity to pass this one up.
A great cache in a great spot.

Das musste unbedingt sein: von little greenies aus lächelte uns die Landzunge mit dem Cache geradezu an. Also heute aufgemacht und bei Ebbe das Eiland entlang des Strandes erobert.
Und natürlich auch den Cache gefunden.
It had to be done: from little greenies the headland with the cache was smiling at us. So we opened it today and conquered the island along the beach at low tide.
And of course we found the cache.

Together with RTB73 I spent a really nice afternoon here at the beach. So also we could find this one. TFTC
Spending a great time in New Zealand with canadianfriend75 we also have visited some caches. The country, the people, the nature, the cleanliness, ... amazing. Thanks to a special country for a great vacation and also TFTC
Quick and easy find at the obvious spot. Low tide so we thought it might be okay to go the direct way. There was still deep water and therefore it was not a short cut
Perfect end to a lovely day - a beautiful sunset across the inlet as the sun went down. Magic. I wasn't keen on what looked like a wall of gorse on approach but as I got closer there was a nice little gap to walk through. TFTC # 14,620
Had à nice walk along the beach to the cache. Found in the first place I looked
Went at low tide so we could take the shortest route. Sand not so firm in some places as suggested and had to make a couple of detours. This was made a little harder on the return journey as daylight was quickly fading. Managed to find the cache but pen only left a small mark on the page before not working. Taken photo as proof instead. TFTC.
Our aim was to took a sand sample for an earth cache in Wellington. Therefore it was a luck that this nice one was here. We had low tide and we used the sandy way . Thanks for the cache!
Early morning start and walk out along the peninsula at low tide. Main target was a sand sample a little bit further on for a Wellington Earth cache but this was on the way. Nice quick find and approached from the right side although still little gorse around. Thanks for the cache and able to claim 734m for the DGSc distance challenge.
Day 4 of our Able Tasman adventure our last day and a late start as we didn't have far to go..
Saw this one as we were walking down the hill didn't look to difficult but (I had time before the bus arrived) definetly made it a t4 ,chose to walk on the beach (right hand side) on my way out then cut across to the cache . bad idea as what I thought to be green bushes from the hill turned out to be gorse ,so 100m of gorse bashing on a hot morning is no fun ,plenty of chose words were used .finally broke through to the other side and quick back track had the cache in hand now for a quick walk back to the track ,did get wet get but it was worth it ...great way to finish off the trip tftc

We were heading to Golden Bay to spend a couple of days white baiting. I had mentioned our weekend away to another cacher and she told me about an earth cache in Wellington that requires a trip to a spot not far from this cache.
We are heading to the Mega in Wellington next week, so with being in Golden Bay this weekend it made good sense to complete the Golden Bay part of that cache while we were there.
I suggested to GK that we go and do this cache as well, it had rained most of the way over the hill and it was raining when we pulled up in the carpark. So we made a cuppa and sat and watched the weather for a while.
The rain eased so we put on our gumboots and raincoats and headed across the sand. There were a couple of soft muddy patches but we soon arrived at GZ. Hmm maybe we should access it from the other side?? No, not GK, he just pushed his way through the gorse and within a couple of seconds he had the cache in hand.
Then we headed further along to fulfill the earth cache requirements before heading back to the warmth of the campervan.
Thanks for placing this cache and of course thank you for the smilie

Found with NZDi. After spending the past month or so stuck at home preparing our house for sale, the looming long weekend called for something special. So three nights were booked in a motel in one of our favourite places... Pohara and early on Friday morning we headed across the hills (firstly the Whangamoas and then the Takaka Hill). We didn't get off to a great start being held up slightly with a flat battery... perhaps I should have taken heed of what the AA man said a few weeks ago when he did a call-out to my address for a similar fault and bought a new one. Fortunately I have become self-sufficient in the flat battery rectification stakes and this was rapidly rectified. Knowing that we were going to a few out of the way places on our weekend endeavours and note wanting a similar experience, I purchased a new battery as we went through Nelson (I couldn't do it in Blenheim because we left too early).
The plan for the weekend was to do some caching in the Golden Bay area on Friday and Saturday, celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary on Sunday with a little more caching but some more traditional anniversary activities, and then do some more caching on the way home. Today's mission was to collect some of the caches in the Canaan Downs area at the top of the Takaka Hill.
Our caching around Canaan Downs was cut short when we discovered we had a flat tyre and decided we needed to get it fixed before everything shut up shop for the long weekend. This gave us some spare time in the evening before darkness set in to find a few more caches a bit closer to Pohara where we were staying. The last time we did a caching visit in this area, the track to Wainui Falls was closed for maintenance, so we took the opportunity of an open track to get the caches up there and afterwards headed back here for some unfinished business. Like others who have come before us, the main reason for the visit was to get a sample of sand to complete a 5/5 Wellington Earthcache, but on the way back, we made time to revisit this place. We first came here as junior geocachers and logged a DNF but today with a couple of thousand finds under our belts, we had a QEF in the first place we looked. I don't know how we missed this last time, and yes it is the original cache, not a replacement because it still has Kiwi-Nomad's name in the FTF position.

Its a long weekend so The Seagnoid, Zara and I are off for an adventure to Golden Bay. The Seagnoid is navigator and Zara and I pair up getting us from A to B??
We are on our way back from an early start to Totaranui. Thankfully the tide is low so we could walk out here easliy. Lots of prickles getting to GZ. Its a pity the whole spit is getting overtaken by gorse and blackberries. Snagged and tagged. Cheers. Mud and more mud and not much water today.

Taybeedragon, Zara and I are on a three day sojourn to Golden Bay, courtesy of Her Royal Highness, Queen of the Realm, Defender of the Faith and Head of the Commonwealth. Happy birthday Liz!
I have found quite a few caches along this little bit to the spit, and yet there are no little smileys on the map. Looks like they have been archived and now there is a new set to explore.
Which is a good thing. I brought the dragon here as this is the other end of a earth cache that starts in Wellington, and she will need a sand sample. So we came out to grab this cache. The dragon insisted that some camo go back on the cache even though I am sure that there will never be a muggle come through here. Ever.

Tide was out so nice walk across the sand/mud, as per last log bit of gorse to get passed but OK from the estuary side. TFTC
#8638. Great to explore this little bit of Abel Tasman National Park. As we arrived at low tide, no wading was required. Some footprints were evident on the sand, but GZ was all quiet when we visited. Quick find. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

This weekend us capperz are over the hill to Golden Bay and celebrating. It's our wedding anniversary on Friday followed by my 50th birthday on the Saturday. So we looked around for a decent place to go for the weekend and the potential of this beautiful area won out (this time). Only grabbed the one cache on the Friday night (there was much drizzly rain and poor visibility) trip over the hill(s) so there was much anticipation for what was next. Both the Saturday of my half-century milestone and the Sunday were bathed in golden sunshine and the temperature was perfect; neither too hot nor too cold.
Day 2 and a few in and around the region before we head back over the hill again. I had a plan which required me to get a sample of sand from Wainui and would be rude not to go look for the caches to the waterfall too.
After beating the tide and grabbing my sand sample from nearby I decided to come and grab this one f=before finding my travelling companions. I scratched up my legs on the gorse but meh, who cares
Circled G Z a few times and nothing found, then spotted it had rolled away so replaced as intended

Decided to take the longer (by 5 mins?) way to this cache and keep our feet dry in the process. Once we sussed a way through the vegetation the cache was in hand.
Found this cache on the beatifull beach in golden bay. For a European it is really weird to be in your swimming pants on the beach on 31 December. Sorry for the late log. I didn't had internetacces for a while. Thanks for the cache!
Today we needed an excuse to get the boat out of the shed for the first time in far too long, great weather and Geocaching was it! Mum, Dad and I got as far as Whariwharangi, picking up geocaches along the way and going for a swim. With the tide all the way in we were able to park the boat within a few metres of the cache on the estuary side. Took a bit of finding, but we got there in the end. TFTC (2656)
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

Sixth day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards south. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. Driving to south and heading to Christchurch Mega event. After ferry ride from North Island we continued our road trip by driving west side of South Island.
We hurry to Wainui beach to collect some sand samples to one 5/5 Earth cache before high tide. Luckily water was still pretty low when getting there. When heading back to Nelson we had time to find some caches.

On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
Today we took a ferry ride to Picton and our road trip continued to Richmond. We found this while getting some sand to make experiments to an earthcache. TFTC!

NZDi and I have been planning a long weekend in Golden Bay for a month or so and today these plans came into fruition. Of course a long weekend out of town would not be complete without the odd cache thrown in and so a few caches were planned along the way. The weather back in Blenheim had been crap all week and the forecast for the weekend was not that flash either, however as soon as we got across the Whangamoa's we could see this part of the country was bathed in sunshine.
We came around to Wainui Inlet to get two or three final caches for the day while there was still a bit of sun. Unfortunately despite finding a likely spot, including what was likely to be the camouflage that his the hide, we failed to get this one. Perhaps another time.
TFTMC B&W the evening was beautiful in this piece of paradise despite not finding the cache.

Even at low tide I opted for the track route and then follow then sand bank along. Was a nice evening stroll from the bach we were staying in up the road. 7pm and the sun was still warm and not a soul in sight to witness my abortive attempts to get to the GZ. Found the right route in the end though. Log signed and returned to our walk.

Needed to carefully pick the entry point off the beach otherwise the gorse makes you pay. Thanks for the hide.
Totally took the wrong path in & got owned by the gorse, but found the cache quickly once in. Found with PampitaNZ and a new cacher.
Last day on the Abel Tasman Coastal Trek. Happy to be more or less alone on this section we were also happy to find some more caches than on the first days. After finishing the trek it was enough time to make this side trip to collect this cache. We expected more complication to reach GZ, but it was low tide so it was easy to cross the "water" section. Thanks a lot for the nice T-value
We finished the Abel Tasman Track and had a little time until the transport comes. So we searched for the cache.
Day #2 of our Labour weekend trip to Golden Bay, our first visit for many years. We had another great day exploring the area, letting geocaches be our tour guide. Many thanks to all the COs for their hides and for taking us to some fabulous spots.
This cache was a mission and we turned it into a 4/4. We arrived at high tide, and as well as find this cache, we wanted to head a few hundred metres further along the spit to collect sand for Wellington based earth cache.
We walked along the northern beach and got to about 100m from this cache but a wall of gorse and other bushes separated us from our prize. Carried on until the spit narrowed and the vegetation became more sparse. We were now able to cross to the southern side to the WP and collect the sand. So far so good. Now we needed to get to this cache. Decided to try the southern beach approach, but the tide was in so far, we had to remove socks and shoes and wade. Regretted not bringing our sandals with us (they were back in the car). Got close to GZ, but had to put our shoes back on as there was still a bit of gorse to contend with.
Cache was an easy find , but now we needed to get back to the car. We had three options:
1. go back the way we came
2. carry on wading along the southern beach
3. bush/gorse bash to the northern beach.
For some unfathomable reason we chose option 3. I do not need to add much more except say that that was the longest, hardest, prickliest 100m I have ever travelled. TFTC.
TFTC.
#8467. We knew the tide would be pretty high when we got to GZ, but that fitted best with out plans so we decided we;d just have to cope. I thought maybe there was a track along the spit, but no such luck. On the way out we went along the northern side of the spit. The high tide meant there wasn't there wasn't much beach to walk on, and the beach there was had small waves breaking on it and quite a lot of driftwood. After collecting our sand, and then wading along the south side of the spit we got to GZ. Having got my shoes back on, I didn't really want to do some more wading, and armed with secateurs from the caching backpack decided to take on the gorse (and vines and dense bush...). In hindsight it wasn't a great decision. It was one of those situations where you get increasingly committed, and are too stubborn to turn back. To make matters worse it started to rain at about the half way mark, but luckily the rain didn't come to much. Troodles retained her composure admirably, and we eventually stumbled back out on to the northern side of the spit. TFTC.

Muddy route across, followed a more sensible person's footprints for a firmer rout back. TFTC
Was here last July with Border Collie Mama and had to log a no find - got back home to discover we had entered the coordinates incorrectly. Easy find today - though i wasn't properly attired for this well protected cache i took one for the team - this find is for you BCM! Many thanks to bumandworker.
Hobbled out here on a bung ankle and was doubly glad I'd brought a walking stick as it was used to push Gorse out of the way .. No trouble finding cache with it's bright yellow lid
Thanks for the hide!

Boys out exploring by themselves again, as B5 still unwell . Everyone got a bit bogged down on the return 'short cut'.

Container had water in it, Dad emptied it and dried it the best he could. Added some more ordinary paper for a temporary log fix, and double bagged them with new plastic bags.
We arrived not long before high tide so had to take the longer route to get to the cache, then we had to get past the guardians. You may want to bring a machete to get to this one. We finally got through and the cache was an easy find. Trouble was we then had to get back out!
The log is wet, when CO replaces it you might want to change the container for a more waterproof type (and cut the gorse or up the terrain difficulty), Otherwise this is a good place for a cache. SL TFTC.

Banian and I found it- Whoopee! We found the cache after a long slow, painful ballet of twisting and squirming through the very heavy, enveloping prikely gorse on either side of us. My attire was completely unsuited to the -what should be- a T4 cache (sandals, shorts, t-shirt) , but we managed to get through the gorse, thankfully. But when it should have got better, it got worse. The log-book was falling apart, and writing our names was a challenge, as pages kept trying to fly away (it was windy). Then we thought about how we would get out. Oh. We exited much faster, but this left me with lots and lots of prickles all over me [B)] [B)]. But all in all, this was an immensely -entertaining- cache, and I won't forget this anytime soon... TFTC, gets a hard earned favourite point
Walked all the way around both sides of the spit, but couldn't find this one. Didn't want to walk into the gorse
Found it after 2 days in the park for geocaching purposes. I had to go there anyway. Les_Premos while visiting new-zealand have done an earth cache somewhere in north island. To get the earth cache you have to collect sand from both places and do an experimentation. I do not have the full process and story. Will edit and give more details once back to the TRF's head quarter.

Good opportuniy for some exfoliation and mud-pack treatment onthe feet. GC container was fairly wet.
Tide too high to reach The Bach so doubled back along the spit - turned out to be the wrong side and gorse has taken over the middle ground, so we had to go the long way around. Disturbed a blue heron's solitary foraging and eventually arrived at GZ. Not a difficult find but had to push through a little bit of encroaching gorse - won't be long before it's a significant impediment. Cache had water inside - we dried it out, replaced the plastic bag with a new one and a couple of desiccant sachets along with a fluoro pen - and a snake. TFTC. Nice spot.
What a nice spot for a cache. We arrived here in the boat and had the cache in hand soon after. TFTC.
Oh my. Rainfall for the last 48 hours. The main road to and from our accommodation is flooded, and so is the track to Wainui Falls, so we went for this cache as the only nearby option. Overall, it took us about 40min, and we were drenched by the end of it. But also cheerful and happy to return to a warm and dry house. Maybe, we'll try the hot bathtub tonight...

A very nice afternoon for a walk across the inlet during which I stopped off to gather the required samples for earthcache GC2KDQD (Arenophilia). On arival at the gz I was glad that I didn't have to tramp through gorse or other pointy scrub as I had left my shoes back at the car on the other side of the inlet. A fun cache in a very nice location. TFTC - 14 of 15
We were lucky with the tide as we just arrived and hoped. Managed to avoid all mud and only had slightly damp feet but the wind was icy. No problem with the find as the GPS took us to a spot we had identifed as very likely. And there it was. Thanks
On our way back form the GC1AKBG cache and a walk to Taupo point, picked up this one too. Whe had a pleasant time walking here!
A stunning spot. Sand may be firm bit mud wasn't so we beat a quick retreat with Solver having mud knee high stockings! Guess we picked the wrong route for short cut..... A nice easy find then we carried on round the end of spit and back for lunch and a swim. Many thanks for placing the cache in such a wonderful spot.
Jr taybee has this own account how am logging this old find under his new Username (Jr taybee) was log as part of taybee team
This turned to be a bit of an adventure whe Taybee Jnr became stuck in the mud and had to be rescued ...minus his shoes! After digging around they were eventually located and washed. Then there were the crabs...but thats another story. TFTC
Jr taybee is geocaching again in the south Island without senior taybee he is doing a road trip geocaching with this Nana and Auntie and look's like he is having a Good time in the mud. TFTC #0780
Nice walk on a bit of a windy day, some of the kids took a different way back to the carpark - across the mud flat.TFTF
Tide was high when we got to Wainui, so took the longer route around the coast. Walked to the end of the sandspit to collect a sand sample for the Arenophilia earthcache, and picked up this cache on the walk back along the other side of the spit.
Lovely area, thanks.

Sorry for the late log. I've been busy travelling around and now back in Switzerland. Found this one easily. I had to wait for the bus to pick me up so I thought to get this one. TFTC.
A pleasant stroll across the estuary at low tide. A quick find once at GZ. TNLN SL TFTC
Tide was suitably low so we squelched across the sand / mud to find this one in good order. Then headed off to The Bach as the rain picked up.
Drove past this a couple of weeks ago but didn't have time to get to it then. This morning the tide seemed to be well out so made my way across the wet sand to GZ. Happy to report all OK there. TFTC, Biggles.
Found while visiting the bay today. For some reason I thought it was low tide access only so missed it on my last visit. TFTC. +/-gc
With the light looking like it was going to go it was a quick check of the info and with only 10 mins to the site we set off. Part way along and noticed the next line "At low tide" ooops it was high tide but we were so far along that we went for it anyway. Nice walk along the sand watching the tide go out as we progressed we estimated 1/2 hour after we walk back it would be low tide lol. Thanks for the cache here Never spotted the geocoin that was supposed to be in here so hopefully someone has yet to log!
As it wasnt low tide we took the long route which we all enjoyed in the late afternoon - a pleasant walk along the sands - cache was soon found at GZ done with hubby Stretch0 and team Liquorboy09 thanks for bringing us out a little way on a track I have not walked and only been to the car park before !!! thanks for the cache ( no sign of the Geocoin logged in the cache)
Terrain 3? B&W must be going soft! Lovely walk for the 2nd cache of the trip. Jr B and Mr are having a boys day/night out. 10 mins a pipe dream as we followed the beaten track. Approaching GZ we saw the obvious and, indeed - Jr B was on to you immediately. Great walk for a GB avo, and Jr and I enjoyed it all.
4287 Bumped into Kiwi Nomad yesterday, so knew the FTF was a goner. Timed our visit to perfection, enjoyed our stroll across the Wainui Sands. TFTC
