MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]Perhaps it is time for the CO to check on this one please.
I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Your prompt attention to logs that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers. It is generally accepted that 3 consecutive DNF's is reason enough to check, see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance
Please respond to this situation by 14th January to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
And don't forget, please log an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

Out on a cup day bike ride before heading to a friend's BBQ. No luck here for me. Thanks anyway.
First attempt at a geocache and didn't find. This little note made me try a little longer though!
Find 1421 at 16:55. I was out caching with 2poons today and we were on a mission to clear out the remaining caches around Yarra Bend Park that had been left over from previous runs. There were a few long walks to get to some of the caches, but it was a great day out and about. All in all we managed to find 13 caches today and this was find number 10.
Parking around here is a bit of a nightmare but once we got over that hurdle, the cache was a quick and easy find. Thanks for the hide, Grant61!

Nicely hidden, TFTC.
Swapped a saxophone reed for a Get Out of Jail Free card, (thought it'd come in handy).

We struggled a little and another guy came and helped. He reckoned it's moved slightly from when he found it.
TFTC Grant61. First find for a while, on a cool overcast day in the middle of summer. With Noelle04
Out for an after work cache run until dark with sharkiefan today. Picked up a few multis and mostly trads and surprisingly considering it was Friday arvo the traffic was pretty good and we managed to find parking exactly where we wanted to on all but one cache. With phones loaded with searches avoiding each others finds we set off.
Tried to park nearby but sharkiefan didn't want to jump the fence so we moved down a little bit. Even with the spoiler photo this took a couple of minutes to find especially with the amount of cycling muggles coming along here.
Thanks Grant61 for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

We didn't find it because we were on the wrong side of the creek! It was to hard at night!! Thanks anyway
Nice hiding place. Me and my sister had lots of trouble getting onto the path. We then looked for about twenty min with no success.
This was first stop on my short afternoon walk around Westgarth and Clifton Hill. Picked a bad time as there were a lot of cyclist commuters on the move. Very hard to hear them approaching. I was actually surprised by the ammount of traffic. Eventually had the cache after searching a few likely spots.
A great reintroduction to geocaching after taking a break.

Quick find this cache needed no looking for?
Contents very wet and soggy, some left a ticket to sign.
This cache could do with a good service.

Riding from lunch in East brunswick to the city via this wonderful trail.
Log is saturated so photo only. Thanks for this cache trail.

Not sure if it was in its proper position as it seemed a bit exposed. Any way an easy find.
Gave up looking when I spotted several syringes, didn't want to get spiked poking around
also cool spot, with the river and so...
cache is not so wet like the creek walk 1,
but has no logbook...

The young geo lad found this straight away and we signed the tattered log sheet and as we tried to return it, muggles seemed to come from all directions. We waitied and managed to return it in between them passing. Needs some attention soon. TFTC Grant61.
This cache is in a pretty location on the Yarra Trail but in serious need of maintenance - paper log has been wet and moulded away. Tore a sheet of paper that I happened to carry in my payback and logged on this new piece of paper but I expect it won't last long as the container itself is wet and apparently regularly inundated.
Returned to sign months after finding a soggy page. Alas now the page is almost non existent, needs replacing possibly moving if this area continues to be flooded. Nice little find though thanks!
Over in Melbourne visiting relatives and managed to find time for a little bit of caching.
Quick find but log was one solid mass. Had been wet but was now dry, Lifted off a corner and put name there but next cacher will have trouble finding anywhere to put their name.
Had no replacements with me.
Thanks for the cache Grant61

As noted, the log is a partially disolved wet mess. One of the hinges on the container is broken, and whatever kind soul put the whole thing in a ziploc has been defeated by the elements and a very determined (if misguided) leech.
Squippie and I headed here after a fail at Creek Walk 1. This was much, much easier, but we still couldn't sign the log. It has a new leech friend as well as being quite wet. We took photos of the cache and contents as alternate proof of our presence. Should the cache get replaced, I'm sure we'll come back--it was a lovely walk.
Found it easily, although it definitely needs maintenance. Logbook in cache to soggy to sign and actual cache completely wet TFTC :p
Logbook rather soggy and case muddy, but an easy find even though my gps was suggesting behind a tree some meters away. Getting a bit better at the telltale signs I guess. TFTC
Cache and logbook is completely waterlogged. Suspect it's too close to the creek and gets flooded
Geokid 2 found it quickly without the spoiler TFTC.

We had spent most of the day at the Salami Festival enjoying tasting all the different samples of salami, then headed out to find some of the nearby caches.
Thanks Grant61 for the cache,

Even on a wet afternoon there was still plenty of foot traffic down here. I've got to admit I looked at the spoiler pic so had no trouble finding this one. The cache has been put in a bag which is hopefully keeping it a little drier... today it was also providing a cosy home to a couple of slugs. Lovely. I quickly signed the log and returned it - thanks for the cache Grant61.
Very nice spot. As the picture shows, we were not able to sign the log book, because it was soaken wet.

Found while walking the creek. Flood waters must have been this high as log too wet to sign.
Cache has suffered a fair bit of flood damage. Some attention will be required.
Found it during queens birthday holiday when couldn't go out of the city. Needs a maintanance!
On a night run with Happy Chappies......geez it was cold!!!
After wandering the streets for a while, we managed to find the access to the creek path. GZ had had a bit of flood damage, so we thought the worst for the cache and we were right.
The cached container was "double bagged" but even that didn't stop the water and mud getting in. The container and location needs to be changed.
A nice little spot.

Turns out we parked in the wrong spot, so we started wandering in the wrong direction not quite sure of where we should be going. After a re-group we headed in the right direction, seeing some interesting parts of the suburb at the same time. Pretty soon we popped out onto the path and wandered over to the creek, where after a bit of an examination of the hint (to avoid unnecessary dunking!) we found the cache.
It appears to have suffered quite a bit at the hands of last weeks floods. Muddy and wet. Managed to make a bit of a signature before returning.

had to park in a nearby street and walk in thought we'd come across some other cachers but they kept there distance when we got to GZ TFTC
After first driving to far into the the little housing area we backed up and walked in from a nearby street. Something didnt feel right when were at this cache and we weren't sure if the two guys around us were caches giving us our distance or if there was something else going on. Anyway off to the event!

Found @ 5:31am, find # 2213
After the 3am WWFM event I hung around the area to find a few more caches, this was one of them.
After finding Creek Walk 1 I grabbed my bike out of the car and rode down the path until I reached GZ for this one. Once there I was a very quick find.
Thanks to Grant61 for this cache and all the caching fun.

Today I was met with a spare Sunday, having done all of my homework for this weekend on the Saturday. Dad was free too, which only meant one thing. The question was: where to go? I decided to head up North and do a sweep as best I could across the Northcote/Brunswick area. Very minimal DNFs and a lot of new areas discovered meant a fun day was had in an area I have visited many times. This find was the 20th of 23 finds.
Great spot down here! Thoroughly enjoyed it
Cache was located quite easily in the end, GPS took me straight to it.
Thanks Grant61!
PS, sorry for such a late log (writing this on 1/9/13) but I guess its better late than never!
