For most of my 20s I worked at Crown Casino in Melbourne as a dealer of cards and other casino games. I worked with Tiz13 for a lot of that time too. Poker was my main game but I also did blackjack so cards are in my blood. Quick find here today Thanks Geogetters
Well its the long weekend and I was wondering what to do so a trip up to Bendigo was called for. This weekend will help me continue along with my streak which I want to get to 183 as any more is just to hard to achieve.Im having to resort to detours on the way home from work but a weekend trip away will help me along and also any excuse to get out of Melbourne is a great idea. After a great day yesterday of caching and sight seeing and a good nights rest (after finding somewhere to stay as Bendigo appears to be booked out) its time for some more caching and to slowly make my way home.Worked out how to get to near GZ then a bit of a stroll to the final.Soon located the cache and added my name to the log.Found a second cache on the way out so I place them both together. Thanks Geogetters TFTC.
Time to get away for the weekend, so a weekend trip to Bendigo (& St Arnaud) was organised with Geoturtle37.Very interesting history of cards. Ive played loads of board games in recent years, but not so many card games. I guess the game Sequence might count as a little of both though. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Geogetters ~~
After a bit of confusion on how to get to Gz, I was there and the log book was signed.
In Bendigo for a few days trying to find a few of the puzzles I've solved. Found with joybell53 TFTC
Barely a scriggle with dodgy pen! Out and about on trusty treadles having a great time exploring the fab GBNP - love the iron barks and carpets of wildflowers…then there’s the spiders…webs across tracks deter the arachnophobe - but there is a nicer way - creeping under them so their hard work is not destroyed. Reminders of all those ‘childhood games’ played about this time of year when not racing around outside was fun. TFTC and the info!
Nice quick find for us today!

Love playing cards, just need to teach others the many games I know! Two containers, just signed one though. Tftc
Parked nearby and scooted down to GZ. Surprised to find two containers with matching camo. So I signed both logs
I couldn’t quite get one of the numbers out of this puzzle and ran it past a friend who is laid up at the mo. And is there a card missing? I’ll have to google it later.

Found under torchlight with catnap777.
Needing a weekend away, cat' and I decided to hit up Bendigo for a bunch of caches including a handful of these "Anyone for...." mysteries that we had both enjoyed solving in quiet times together. [^]
With two caches and two logs found at GZ, it looks like someone has been dealing from the bottom of the deck here.
We signed our names in one of them hoping it wasn't the "extra card" we were marking.
Thanks for the cache and the puzzle Geogetters.

Dalerious and I had great pleasure in working through these very clever puzzles We managed to set up a weekend away to get cracking on signing our names in each log. Some of the logs were too wet to sign though which is unfortunate, but that didn't deter us from enjoying the variety of areas looking for each hide Thank you Geogetters for providing a ripper set of Mysteries [:o]
Second find of this fantastic series today, two logs in hiding place, how strange?
In the area today with Glanville Girls cleaning up a few solved mystery's. Thanks for placing and maintaining for our enjoyment.
Lovely afternoon walk from home with Bogonghazy. Puzzle solved by Bogonghazy. Easy find. Thank you for the cache.

Found today walking from LittleBoss's home in our 2hr exercise limit.
We took and used hand sanitiser before touching each cache, and used our own stamp.
Thanks for these puzzles, some of the very few that I can work out.
This is a brave hide, but well hidden

After a few days away in Mildura with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and The Empire, it was now time to head for home, I detoured Via Bendigo to do the labs in town and a hand full of caches along the way.

Find No. 3184. Found at 12.51pm.
A day trip to Bendigo with Geodog Penny on board, to wander around finding caches here and there and this is five of 16 that we found for the day.
We managed to do a few of the games puzzles plus a few others in between. We started in the area behind Lansell Plaza and finished out at White Hills.
We enjoyed our day wandering around seeing parts of Bendigo we have never been to before.
A quiet parking area off the main roads. After finding the cache, we then had a cuppa before moving on.

Think we found where it was but couldn’t find it perhaps it was found by a muggle
This cache is closest to my work, but it’s taken a while for me to get around to finding it. But after work today I made a slight detour and made an easy find.
Quick find after solving earlier on this morning
Wouldn’t think there would be muggles up here but, there you go!

TFTC. We came to Bendigo to attend an evening event. Rather than just and up and down trip from Maryborough we decided to spend a good afternoon caching. As you do. We had solved puzzles to find as well as targeting a few multis to edge closer to a challenge cache.
This one was solved only a couple of days ago, We saw that it was close to the event. We got most of the numbers but something as not quite right , a PAF had it sorted and three green light given. A quick find, in a logical spot.

I needed an event for December to help with a challenge I am working on and the only one in Melbourne was the 31st while I was working so one in Bendigo was the only one and only a 2 hour drive each way. So that was the goal of the day.
I had a little time before the event so I stopped here in the really convenient car park and made the find and headed off to the event.
Thanks Geogetters for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Day 8 of our epic trek to the St Arnaud Mega via Geelong and return via wherever the caches are.
The constant was my travel companion for the entire trip, - Anymules but we were joined by other cachers in our travels.
With the Mega event finished we continued caching around Bendigo where we were based. We had solved numerous puzzles before heading over last year but only managed to find a few so we wanted to put a bigger dent in those and turn them into smilies. [^] Of course we would be stopping for others as we passed.
My GPS decided to spit the dummy and I was left to cache by phone for the rest of the day. Learning the new app as I went. I managed to find this one first in the first place I looked and scored a wonderful surprise from the CO [^] A rare find in the wild these days.

Holidaying in Bendigo for a few days and enjoying the caches in the area. Nice to be able to tick another of the puzzles off. TFTC
Thankyou geogetters. Im really enjoying the puzzle caches. Log getting a bit full bit right where it should be.
With the puzzle solved a while ago knowing we were coming for holidays here we were eager to get out and find the cache. A great spot for a hide! Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
Out this afternoon after a bad storm had gone by. These caches we found were located near where we have been staying. Thank you to all CO's who have placed them, they took me places to where I would not have walked too.
Having several days in and around Bendigo following the Parkville Event in Melbourne on the weekend.
I have enjoyed visiting a variety of interesting places and appreciate the time and effort that all the COs have put into placing the caches. Thank you so much.

I had flashbacks to yesterday. We rode the trams again, had ice cream again, swam in the pool again but we did do something different. We visited the Chinese Museum. I was allowed to find a few caches on the 'way back' to Park Lane. We were able to park quite close so I quickly popped down to GZ. I overshot slightly because I had my eye on a different site, I turned around and saw the real GZ immediately. Another one of this series ticked off. Thanks Geogetters
*In town for my Grandson's 1st Birthday*.
Out early with Happy Feet grabbing one or two on what is to be a 40°+ day.
This was found fairly quickly with no muggles about at this time of morning. Having this one solved some time ago, it was just a case of stopping off to grab it.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Geogetters... Appreciate your efforts...

In town for a few days. Up early to try and grab a few before it reaches 40+ day with Snap Happy. Another quick find but still no time for cards, as there are other caches to find.

I am in Bendigo visting a friend for her 40th birthday. Her husband has takin me to this cache that was behind there house and the first cache they found years ago. When we got to GZ the cache was gone but a quick search found the cache close by. Log was signed and cache was replaced. TFTC We also saw some kangaroos nearby.
After being distracted by the track we climbed to GZ and I quickly found the cache hidden in a manor well known to most geocachers. Amazing bit of bush complete with water race. Loved the puzzle as well. Earned a favourite point from me.
1 and only find for the day.
Had to get the switch souvenir!
Opened the app and this cache is in the top 3 closest to home.
I'm not much of a puzzle solver at all but I thought I would have a look and to my delight, this wasn't too hard to crack at all =D Even for me.
BeardedMuggle and I left the house after getting some likely co-ords, with the last bit of daylight coming through. Hating this being dark at 6-6.30pm thing =[
We drove up the road and parked the Geovehicle, even driving 600 odd meters it had gotten darker, so we armed ourselves with our phone torches and started the hunt.
Not too long later, we were dating and stamping the back of the log sheet....
Thanks for bringing us here.
All in pretty good condition.
Took & left nothing.
TB is still there.
Time for dinner.

Was visiting nearby and after solving the puzzle went for the search but after 10min gave up and went back and had another look at my co-ords. with a slight change in numbers I return to a new location and after a breif search and reading previous logs the cache was soon inhand. dropped off a travel bug. Thanks **Geogetters**. Tftc

After the nearby Surfcoast BBQ event finished up we headed off to pick up the rest of our solved puzzles in the Bendigo area before having to head back to Geelong.

Today the geokids (aged 4 & 6) and myself headed to Bendigo to collect some mysteries caches for a challenge in Melbourne. I spent that last week solving as many as I could (mainly focusing on the games series as they were easier and more at my level - lol). This was a quick find. It was starting to warm up and the nearby pool looked rather inviting! Lol. Many thanks
Another of the anyone series done and logged. we are slowly working our way through them. The rest will need to wait until we return south again - whenever that happens. Maybe it is the games we play as a child that make some of the series caches easier then the others. SL TFTC
Visiting Bendigo today with Ava from Beavar to visit friends and family. Card games have long been a favourite pastime in our family - 500, gin rummy, Old Maid, Fish, Cannasta etc. etc. Probably the one that gets played the most these days is 500. Anyway, onto the cache - found the parking co-ords and made our way to GZ. SL at 2.35pm Left: PT. Cache is dry and in good condition, on a dull and cool winter's day. #2941 TFTC Geogetters and for the puzzle too! Now to find a few more caches as we make our way back home to Wangaratta.
I, Ava, was visiting Bendigo with my grandparents (Harrowang). We found a few caches in between visiting friends and family. I love playing card games like Fish and Old Maid and especially UNO. I have to thank Ma (Mrs Harrowang) for working out the puzzle so we could find the cache. This one was quite close to where Ma's brother has moved to in Bendigo. SL at 2.35pm TFTC Geogetters
Dull cloudy day with rain forecast.. so I'm out to grab some smilies before it does eventually rain! Nice easy find after working out the puzzle some time ago. Bring a pen with you as pencil needs sharpening . Otherwise all good at gz.
An easy solve but the puzzler of our duo was poking around in totally the wrong spot at his GZ before the "found it" call came. Nice hide.
