Looked for a while but did find, looks like others have tramped into the swamp looking for this.
This was the first of a day of caching. I have never been here before. TFTC!
Had tried for this on a previously occassion but was short of time - but with time on our hands we went for it. Last visit has us a long way from GZ but once the GPS had settled it was a fairly quick find. TFTC
Was a nice way to start the day with a drive down the river. It was good the get off the Highway and follow the river. Lots of Black swans to be seen along the way. Funny to see all those bird boxes not up trees but on poles in the middle of the lagoon. The rain kept falling but not enough to stop the family getting out and finding this one.

Great place, been awhile since I was here last.
Thought we would never find this one but just needed to explore a bit more.
Not sure of the relevance of the 'key' ???
Phone went flat before I could do the part 2. Nice place to spend some time>

Aha. First cache, that is ever, and I really should've remembered to bring a pen.
Took travel bug, left a 50c coin (All I had at that time).
A very nice hide.

Third attempt finally no muggles, so I thought until a family turned up!! Left travel bug took geo coin.
Feed the ducks whilst we waited for the log book to dry a little. Great little area. Thanks.
I remember finding a cache in this little wetlands
about 5 years ago now.
Nice to return and find an easy one as I was in my work clothes.
Thanks

This was cache # 12 of 27 finds on a rather wet last day caching in Tassie. I was sure it was going to be on the sign it was not, there was a small bird egg close to the cache. My thanks to Tame9cruet for the cache.
Lots of water birds hanging around today. At least all the geese were across the road, been chased by geese. They can be aggressive, good watchdogs for the home owner where they hang out though.
Found @ 1.10pm after our visit to the Cadbury factory. Signed the damp log, didn't see any signs of a key. TFTC
Found it after its partner cache so didn't need the key which is good because it's not there. Totally soaked and needs replacement. TFTC
The first cache of the day (and the year). As per previous logs the log book is wet. We left it to flap in the breeze to dry a bit, but really needs to be replaced. Cheers Quilter
Before we could enter the car park we had to wait for seven geese to cross the road in front of us heading for the pond. Log book sodden and hard to write on.
Before this one we visited the wildlife park - it was very nice to feed kangurus. This one was exactly were we guessed it was, thanks! #958
the cache log is wet and mouldy and there are no keys for the cache further up the river
Cache log still damp but cache itself dry. Couldn't find any 'key'to the next Murphy case though. TFTC
A nice little spot for a cache and the first for the day. It took a little while to retrieve and scribble on the log as it was a bit damp. Thanks for showing me this area.

Clever...but alas wet and no sign of 'the key'. Changed the broken plastic bag with a new one.
Beautifull day. Beautiful birds. Dried the cache as much as possible. TFTC. TNLN
Lots of birds on the water today, so we had a bit of a sticky beak before we found the cache.
The contents were wet. Actually I poured out water from the container, and dried the rest as best I could, but the logbook is not in a good state.
Nice place though.
Thanks, Robmc.

GPS was a little way off, but a little common sense pointed us in the right direction.
I was about to walk away from this one because 1. there was a family watching ducks and eels nearby and 2. I wasn't really keen on scouring too hard to find the cache. Geoniece not impressed with this attitude though, and insisted on having a proper look which proved fruitful. As others have said, the contents were very soggy. Could sign log though, but TNLN. TFTC.
Found today with wife. Cache is in need of some attention though as contents are soggy. The pen also didn't work.
Great little hiding spot. Good clues in the description too.
Took army man
Left plastic green pear and working pen

Found after a little initial confusion. The cache was full of water though. We emptied it out and dried the contents as best we could in the time we had, but things are still rather soggy.

As the poor cold hungry ducks gazed up at us Swampy and I both decided we should have brought some food for them. Maybe next time.

Should have brought some food for the ducks. We wandered down to the waters edge and had a look around and found the cache on the return. Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for the cache. There were no keys left......
A few ducks swimming by didn't stop me finding this one. I should come back in spring when the ducklings are about.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

A quick find. Would have liked to have sat on the seat and enjoyed the bird life but too much bird sh**t on them. Thanks, another place we'd never been to before.
Noone about, so I got to listen to the birds while I pondered where the cache might be hidden.
And then I found it.
Thanks!
And then I found it.
Thanks!
A very peaceful place to be on a still winter's morning. No birds on the water today but the Eastern Rosellas were making their joyful song - if only we could record their notes in a cache log !
It's a good thing M lobbied as he did to preserve this area !
Grabbed the geocoin to move on.
Thanks for bringing us here and the cache, Tame9cruet !

It's a very serene area here and I enjoyed revisiting. The last time I visited was for the multicache, Watch the Birdie, which I'd enjoyed as well. M tells me that when he was a schoolboy he was involved in the petitioning to make it into a sanctuary as planning had been in place for it to be drained. It's great that this little piece of wetlands is still preserved: all those birds certainly seem to like it! In regards to the cache, I wasn't sure if I needed a key to open the Murphy's Gone Flat cache, so took the one that was left and decided I'd better go check! Thanks for the cache Tame9cruet.
After surviving the learner driver's driving we found the cache with no problems. Have never been to this area before but it was quite pretty. Took nothing but left geocoin. TFTC!
A very interesting area to visit as dusk approached - final feeding for the day and occupation of preferred spots for the night were the main activities for the "locals". A quick find. TFTC
Have absolutely no idea what the reference to the keys and Murphys gone flat is about but the keys are still there!! Took the pathtag & left a soldier. TFTC
nice spot and cache.... I like bird watching (both kinds )... if you are ever in SA stop by the Birds Australia Gluepot Reserve (google it).... plenty to see out there, course to do etc....
cheers 4 da cache Tame9cruet!

I wrote the wrong date in the log. Found easily after waiting for some bird feeding muggles to go. TNLN Thanks for the cache!
Found at 4:47 pm. I'm not quite sure about the link with Murphy's gone flat, but thanks for the cache anyway. It brought back fond memories of the nice multicache that used to be here.
Found by Nick and Chloe
I got stung by a Jack Jumper looking for this Cache and almost gave up but yet again Chloe found it. LOL she is better at this than me.
Seen some muggles bird watching, but they weren't watching us.

Well found it a last. I am having a bad day caching, found 5 now but all have taken 20 minutes plus to find! This one wanted me to go for a swim. After convincing myself this was not going to be needed (again) I located cache in sensible position. Note that top rock had slipped off again and o replaced the best I could.
I popped by on my way home from a walk to Cathedral Rock. I soon found the cache and as previously mentioned the concealing rocks had slipped away. I replaced them as best I could. TNLN, SL. TFTC.
Hi Tame9, got your cache at 1256hrs as the 1st of three today, 421 overall. The cahce box had fallen from its hiding place and was totally exposed upon arrival. I put it back and it again fell from its cubby hole. So for those yet to find this cache, when replacing, please make sure that the cover is well balanced to prevent this from happening again and a possible muggling. It's too good a cache to have it disappear because it was not replaced properly. U beat me to putting one there and so I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. TFTC and cheers OldSaint.
I haven't gone for a FTF in ages, however the morning rain had cleared and it was either drink the coffee my husband just made me or hurry him into the cacheWagon for a chase. Well. . .
Of course, by the time we'd reached our destination it was PELTING down with water. It was hard to see where the lagoon ended and my shoes begun. I had to take off my specs as they don't have windscreen wipers. But I found t - less than half an hour from when it was published.. And unless the rain had washed away another log, I was FTF as well.
Thank you for the cache.
