Found it, but at what cost? I fear I may be put on some kind of threat list after nabbing this one on my lunch break. But once I saw it I had to commit. Log is nice and dry. Lid is a bit hard to open but otherwise all good. Thank you.
Thought about stopping for this on many occasions, but never did until today. Parked at the waypoint suggested and made the short walk to GZ. Found pretty quickly, but the cache wasnt in a couple of possible spots which seemed to fit the hint and some past logs. Wonder if it has crept a little. Anyway, returned to where it was found. Thanks mud-wiggle
Knew roughly where to look and was worried it was in the bush. Little bit of a duck down and found!
Great find! We've been meaning to do this for a while but the road is so busy that it was difficult. No pencil in the cache.
Parked at the given parking waypoint and strolled to GZ.Found almost immediately, right on the dot. Cheers.Sleepy was here!
This cache has been staring at me for several years , every time i come down to Newlands to visit family etc i think about it but until now i have not visited it so this month made it a must . So after parking the car , i walked across the road and over to the fly over bridge and onto the G Z and then it was a quick find , sign and return to its hidey hole. It is quite an old cache and great to see that it is still lasting but i suppose only a few people would walk over this bridge and those passing are vehicles intent on going up the hill to newlamds or those on bicycles who would not bother looking over here . I took nothing and left nothing here . thank you for this cache and maintaining over all the years . well done .
Parked right at gz - then timed retrieval inbetween the uphill traffic passing by. Cache guarded by sprayed blackberry so carefully retrieved.
Did a little maintenace - Log not in its bag and totally saturated to "slush" status - took to car and dried out. Also replaced damaged plastic bag, double bagged for good measure. All good to go. A cheeky exposed spot to have a cache. TFTC mud-wiggle

Another day caching in Wellington, first one for the day. Thanks mud-wiggle for the cache.
This was as i assumed - the hard part is parking nearby, not finding it. Although I'm sure i confused some cars while i was locating it. Tftc!
Found on the 10 year anniversary of my first cache find on 23 March 2011.
I chose this cache as is is one of the few that pre-dates the start of my caching journey, was close-ish to my house, and I hadn’t already found. TFTC

Walked back to GZ, quickly spotted cache but still some work to do to extract. Signed, then sustained some damage to T-shirt and dignity returning. All good in cache, tftc!
Quick find - a little weary of thorns after reading previous log but managed to come away unhindered.
Thanks for the hide
Thanks for the hide
Very wet, very uncomfortable, but a great day to find it because no one around to question my movements. The prickly growth made it difficult to retrieve but that was a minor concern. TFTC
Needed a cache today to deal to a dot day. This was it. After having coffee in Johnsonville I ascertained this was one of the closest unfound caches to my then whereabouts, so I set off to look for it. Slightly tricky crossing the busy roads from the recommended car park to get to GZ! Anyway I made it in one piece and located the cache without much effort. Good to see a new logsheet in the container! #3435. TFTC.
I tried this one a couple of years ago without luck only to see later that it had been missing Got it today but found the tightly folded quite damp logs were in bad shape I found a small signing window See image The container top is missing so the rain is getting in I replaced the container in the horizontal position hoping this might help A CO visit with new container and log is needed here TFTC
We had a very nice holiday in New Zealand. Almost every day beautiful weather. We traveled with the camper home from the north to the south island. we have found a lot of very nice caches. Thanks for showing the nice places where we found the caches.
Greetings from the Netherlands

Staying over the road for the night before catching the ferry tomorrow. Quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Visited today but couldn't locate the cache container. Have replaced and included a new log sheet. Cheers!
No this one eluded me Stayed about 10 min before some approaching walkers made me think I would carry on with my walk on down the gorge and back up the Rangiora steps to Khandallah Thanks anyway
All the people heading to work probably wondered what that crazy person was doing. Quick find once I looked exactly where I would put it. Staying for a few days at a ️ tournament so it’s nice to grab a couple of geocache. TFTC
Reading previous caches, has this logbook been replaced yet? Will wait for confirmation before attempting again (couldn’t find it last time however it was in the dark).
Quick find once I got to the right place.
BUT log wet and unusable. Needs urgent help. Open container had been left open end up so was full of water. Best if container also replaced?

Wandered past this area this morning, as I regularly do, and finally had a bit of spare time to head over the bridge and grab this one. Found it where I expected it to be. Container and log sheet in need of some TLC.
Quick find today. Have been mean to grab this field a while. Log book was quite wet added another baggie and maybe the next person will have some paper to donate. Tftc
A quick evening find of a waterlogged lid-less container. I didn’t have a waterproof logsheet on me however did have a post it nite which I placed in the container. It will need a visit
Thanks for another smilie.

Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let’s all help this a successful event!
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn’t be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn’t take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

I went to where I thought it would be handy but it wasn't there and couldn't find it surrounding.
I had imagined finding this cache would be a lot more difficult than it was. I managed to go about my mission largely unobserved and soon located the nicely hidden treasure. It certainly could do with a new logsheet.
Reasonably quick find after almost looking in the wrong place but deciding it was unlikely to be there. The hint only provides meaning after you've found it which makes it not very helpful. Just enough room for my sig but needs a new log before next visit.

decently quick find a few unnecessary pricks but we did find it eventually found 1st/11th/16th
I made this harder than it need have been by misreading the map and heading to the cycleway at the wrong level. Once I'd resolved that little error it was a straightforward find at GZ. Signed log, thanks for the cache!
I poked and prodded, got poked and prodded. Stopped. Stepped back. Thought. Went in again, success. But . . . . . . no writing implement today so I will sign next time I go past. Nice hide
Signed now. went back with pen only to find pencil in cache

Access not too prickly though in returning the cache to its home and exploratory finger assessing nature of the site came out bearing a dead gorse prickle. No blood! Haven't come across a cache site like that one before. Ideal spot.
Our last morning on the North Island before crossing to the south, but wanted one more cache and this one was close to our campground. Got to the "right kind" of spot quickly, but took a few minutes to find its twin and the cache. Thanks for the morning find.
Had to look around for a wee while. Cache found in logical place but not where I expected. T4tc
Out walking the dog this evening and headed towards this one. Wreck of truck from this morning still parked up backwards in the fast lane of the southbound lane. Cache itself quickly found. Thanks for the cache.
This week's Sunday morning run cache. Took the direct route up the gorge, which isn't my favourite, but sometimes has to be done! A quick hunt around and I came up with something that could have been the container. Hard to see with the early morning sun strike. (Which also kept the passing cars from seeing me.) Brushed away the cob webs, had a good look and indeed it was the cache. Log in good condition. TFTC.
#404. Parked up by the motel and walked back to this one. I had a pretty good idea of where it would be. Doing it at dusk is a good option but there are some handy shrubs nearby as well. Even so you still feel a bit exposed though I am sure no one saw me. Cache quickly found. Replaced the torn plastic bag with a ziplock as the lid was missing from the container. Logbook was dry however. TFTC
Misinterpreted the hint at first and started looking in some strange places before I twigged and the cache was in hand soon after. TFTC!
#1172 Out on a Newlands caching raid today, both Ska and Aga. Last cache for the day on our way back up the gorge from the Hazards cache. Quick find thanks to good coords and a clever hint. As other logs say, lid not attached but other than the torn bag, everything in order here. TFTC!
A nice quick find after a wee walk from nearest parking spot.
cache needs a bit of tlc - bag is torn beyond repair and lid is no longer attached. surprisingly, log is still dry.

TFTC, nice walk following the Suburb to Sea trail, then a not so nice walk up the gorge. Found with toniaivy
Haha! Didn't plan to get this one, but we'll take it anyway! Next time our plan will work Niqill!! Thanks
Cache # 1,487 - got an early start to the day and decided to stop here on the way to work. I have been driving by this cache for two years, waiting for a decent opportunity to go have a look. Nice weather and little traffic at this hour of the morning meant that now was the chance. Pretty quick find - nice spot for the hide. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Cache lid is detached from rest of container. Replaced but it will not stay on. Might be time for a replacement container soon.
Another gorse'n'sandfly cache down. Also got cramped lurking in the bushes before I could sneak out undetected
Quickly found this morning. Container lid has become detached (usual deterioration and wear & tear for this type). Not where i intended to be this morning, but stopped to have a looki f there were any caches nearby. Also took the time to watch the early-morning rush-hour traffic down the gorge.
TFTC!

Find #82 of the 100 day challenge. Maybe you shouldn't park next to it at normal times, but doing it just before midnight on a cold damp night is definitely possible! I didn't fancy the walk so went for the park and only a single taxi (I thought it was a cop at first) went by in the time it took to find the cache. Thanks.
11424… Flew over to Newlands to collect this cache, after spending an evening Recycling caches, should sleep well tonight, many thanks for the cache.
