Took abit of finding. The log book has plenty of space. No sign of the "scrap of paper" or "new log page" the last few finders have signed. The last signature was from 10/23 and we did find the original cache container and log book from 2010.
Caching around Canberra area for a while. TFTC.
Great spot out on the bush. Nice one.

#4. A detour of sorts while returning to the geomobile after the nearby park run.
Not where or what I expected the container to be but a solid find nonetheless. Had to fend off some ants while signing the log. TFTC

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

After reading the hint I was searching for a while around hollow logs nearby. When I found the cache it was not where I expected it to be. Good spot though. TFTC
In need of new pencil; all blunt! Without clue us newbies wouldn’t of known where to look!
Found with Jondub. This one was tricky as the phone kept jumping around, but eventually discovered it. TFTC
The Dog and I enjoyed a series of short walks around Jerrabomberra thismorning. This was my last remaining unfound cache on this 'mountain' beyond QBN (it's really a hill), and it took a couple of minutes to find at GZ.
The log is no more and the rocks aren't there, and ironically the age - and hence colouring - of the milo tin assists brilliantly with its camouflage.
Great to see the contents of this old cache are all safe and sound and dry.
Thanks!

Can’t believe this container is lasting the test of time….suits the environment well.

Tough walk up the hill, and accidentally got into Mt Jerra via someone's private property.
Loved the container. Good to know what a Milo tin looks like after 10 years battling the elements.

Found it out in the open, I put it back where I think it was initially. Quiet spot on a Wednesday morning. Tftc
Great find - was full of water and everything was soggy. I tipped out the excess but the book and pen are unusable.

Thankfully a cooler afternoon, so I took the opportunity to grab the caches on Mt Jerrabomberra. Cache easily found. TFTC.

After a bike ride to the top,
it was more like a slow scramble on foot,
dragging the bike down the steep tracks to reach this spot
The tin was found,
and logbook signed
I've seen the Milo,
so where's the lift that Otis promised ?? [:o]

First day of a long weekend caching. Today was the trip to the mega via Hume and Queanbeyan. Lots of talk at the showground and lots of caches in the close area, lots of fun! Thanks for placing all the caches. Great walk here at mt Jerra, with some spectacular views!

I remember the movie of Milo and Otis, a long time ago. This cache may even be that old. It looks it anyways. An easy climb from the reservoir. TNLNSL TFTC
Wow, this is probably the oldest Milo Tin cache I have ever seen! It is almost unrecognisable, but it blends in with it's surroundings so perfectly now!
Despite the outside of the container really showing it's age, the inside is still in great condition! If anything it has just gotten harder to spot with the rust!
Thanks p&k, great to see another original hide in good condition after 9 years!

Checked the weather before walking down to this one and looked OK. Steeper going down than expected but got to the spot and found the container and lots of ants. Opened quickly with a coin and log signed. Started to rain just as I left here (and nowhere near the car!)
Thanks,
Thanks,
A bit of trepidation about walking all the way down to this one. Will I have to walk back up? Got there and no one around. Great views over southern Canberra on the way down. Lid a little hard to open and had to dodge lots of ants. But all good inside. Thanks.
In the area this afternoon/evening with about 90 minutes to spare so why not go find some caches! This was the first one. I thought it best to do this one during daylight for safety but also to see the view. It might not have been all the way up the hill but the geoson and I enjoyed it. This cache ticks off a missing D/T for me so that’s a bonus. Cache was quickly found and was in good condition. TFTC
P.S: Then on the way back down the hill, very close to this one, we found another cache. I've since determined it was a GCA puzzle cache.

Not difficult to find, though the uphill walk is a welcome challenge to an old bloke. TFTC
Found late today while out grabbing Geocaching Australia caches for the State of the Nation game. This was a bonus cache Found in good condition. Thanks for the hide
My first accidental find for ages. .. and I mean years lol. Was looking for a GA and stumbled across this thinking it was the other lol. Awesome and looks like it has been here a while log still in great shape. TFTC
Sunday 17 December 2017 - a very hot Summer's day in the low 30s with a brilliant blue sky and very little breeze to cool the sweaty body. Rode bike, then walked just short of 6km up, down and around the mountain Jerra' to find 8 from 8 caches today (7 trads, 1 multi). Good to have the tree canopy during some of the walk to shade the head from the searing sun. Saw just one large roo as everybody and everything else sensibly stayed home or was hidden from the heat of the day.
Quick and easy find. Thx p2p. TFTC p&k_cachers.

This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
This morning we headed out of Queanbeyan towards Captains Flat to look for caches on the Captains Flat Trail. It was a glorious morning, a little cool but perfectly clear skies. We were surprised by the amount of traffic using the road. We returned mid afternoon and used the time to find some more caches around Queanbeyan and in the South Canberra area.
This was one of the caches we looked for in the late afternoon. Mrs y'stassie wanted to find a particular cache on Mount Jerrabomberra. After the challenging walk to the top, she found the cache that she was seeking but noticed a small number of other caches nearby. This was one of them. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a very well camouflaged container that blended exceptionally well into the immediate area. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks p&k_cachers for a great cache - it earns a favourite from us.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 268 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 92.6. Progress is being made but there is still a way to go before we achieve our goal.*****

The Monday evening Omnia walk scaled Mt Jerrabomberra today which gave me the opportunity to find two geocaches in Jerrabomberra and the three on Mt Jerrabomberra. This cache was a straightforward find, being more or less on the coordinates. Thank you p&k_cachers for installing and maintaining this cache.
While visiting the area and heading out for some supplies just had to sneak up and grab this one. Quick find and back home in time for breakfast. TFTC SL cache in good shape fav point from me Cheers 4 Now
Was out and about cleaning up a few GA hides so I grabbed a good old GC to and it was a good lol when I found it. I even broke a pen getting into it..
Thanks for the fun as I grow up on this hill so I had a ball being back
Thanks P&K

Found while out in the area with G & D. G had done this one years ago and was wanting to find a nearby GA. D wasn't sure but had put this one on his GPS. We parked nearby and D realized that he didn't have his GPS. We trekked up the hill and found the GA. G mentioned this one was close by, but had no hints nor clues. So we just started searching. Luck was on our side and I found the cache. Log signed and then we looked for when G had made the find. It turned out that D had also found it then, so we scratched out his name from today's log. TFTC
Found another very close-by. Also beautiful waxlip orchids and a fox being dive-bombed by magpies. A lovely relax - thank you
Had half a day of work off so I decided to head out to Jerra for a quick snaggle. Quick pickup. Cheers
#1248 5 of 10 today.
I have a 'spare' week of leave to use up. Hmmm what should I do ? Sit around at home ? Not likely !
I had a couple of spare hours after lunch today so I decided to head out to Jerrabomberra. I've tackled about 1/2 the pathways series already and thought it was time for another go.
I scaled Mt Tennent yesterday, so the climbing muscles were still a bit sore. I ditched the bike and trudged up the rest of the slope to gz. Good camo for the cache, although I needed a tool to open it.
Thanks for the cache p&k_cachers.

#3421 - 17:40; Out for an afternoon caching run and decided to give Mount Jerrabomberra a try. Followed the access road for most of the way before tackling the last couple of hundred metres almost straight up to the summit. The mountain bike trails made the job a bit easier than it otherwise might have been. Once at the summit, I grabbed the cache that was there and headed down along a track down the other side from where I had ascended. Turned out to be a good decision, unlike the last time I had done something similar on the Beecroft Peninsula. Followed the track for most of the way down before peeling off and making the find. TFTC p&k cachers
A steep climb up a very rocky track to find this one.
A beautiful peaceful part of the bush, really lovely gum trees.
Geo-spouse and his geo-Dane came on this adventure to find 3 caches on the South side of Jerra.
We may have over done it today and put him off for a while .
But me and the Ridgeo-pup are always ready for another cache. TFTC p&k_cachers

Found it, lucky the trinket geoson swapped from cache was capable of reopening tin as geoson cleverly enclosed my keys in the tin!
Nice walk on a sunny day

Found on a morning walk up Mt Jerrabomerra for the first time. Awesome cache. TFTC.
#8 of 8 GCs found today. As per previous comments the Jerrabomberra woodland never gets borings to stomp around in. It's almost identical to Black Mountain apparently. Great camouflage on the cache.
great one for beginners but fun to find. Also dioit with other people it is more exciting. I did it with my cousins.
Found after much walking looking for hint... Not quite what was expected. But thanks tftc
Found after a long walk up the Jerra hill we finally found the cache and when I opened it i saw the Travel Bug - my second one for the day - retrieved and hope to drop off somewhere soon.
My first time visit to this area Hill even though been here for nearly 40 years. TFTC,
