Out and about with geodaughter and two of her friends - as mentioned there are 3 smashed up dumped cars blocking tracks- no water running- and lots of scrub = for hot scratched up annoyed kids. Couldn't locate this cache today but it was a beautiful bush and I look forward to returning one day to make the find
This was my first trek for the day, Do not try and take the 4wd track in in any vehicle, you will only get 100m in before you come across a presumably stolen vehicle and there is another one about 60m up as well. The vehicle blocks the path going any further in and makes it very difficult to turn around. So after abandoning my vehicle I did the 80m walk in agree with others should be a higher terrain rating as it is quite over grown with no real paths in. Arrived at GZ and searched and searched and all I came across was a scorpion. The cache may still be there somewhere, but there is a lot of leaf littler so it may of become buried. Search every log big and small in a 20m radius but did not go right down into the thick reads which were about 20m from GZ. Sadly I came up empty. Would love to return to the location another day once it has been confirmed the cache is still there.
After doing a couple of your GCA caches, stopped by here hoping for a quick find. No joy. Spent a long time looking around.
So pleased I stopped though as the water was flowing steadily down the falls ... I could hear it as I walked down the hill. Enjoyed the view and sound of the falls as I searched.
Thanks for the hide WanderingAus and for bringing me here. I expect to be back and might entice the geo-muggle-missus along next visit.

Headed out on a bit of an adventure with my family (jasenjanine) & found a few caches along the way... This was one of them! Thanks WanderingAus [^]
Out for a bit of a drive today with the kids with no idea where we are headed to Somehow this cache was noticed & we were soon following the directions placed along the way... Getting as close as we could (50m or so) we headed bush The track quickly ended & we were soon getting spiked by spiky things & walking in head high grass! We nearly could have lost the kids in there
After searching around for quite some time Jase eventually stumbled upon the cache... Although I was not more than 15m from him I could not see him in the grass & am amazed that he even found the container [^]
TFTC WanderingAus... Not too sure about the terrain rating on this one? Requiring 4WD & a lot of bush-wacking too? Nevertheless, we loved the adventure & getting out into the bush today [^] Hopefully next time we will see the waterfall as there was not even a trickle in the creek today... Cache is in good condition.

Finally got back to this one after almost 2 years!! Yes we found it this time and it was right where we thought it should have been last visit. We were lucky again today as there was heaps of water coming over the fall. Love the aussie bush! Fav from us. SL TNLN TFTC
Only my fourth cache and it was only one kilometer from my home. The GPS coordinates need to be re-LOGGED!!!!!
Drove to within 130m and walked down the track to find a magnificent waterfall and a nice deep fast flowing stream. With all the rain we have had recently I was hoping it would look like this and I wasn't disappointed.
Worked our way around the track towards GZ while stopping to take photos of the waterfall.
Found cache all safe and dry and thankful that we searched in winter as I wouldn't have been able to do it in summer for fear of snakes.
A favourite point from me for showing me a part of this beautiful National Park I had yet to discover.

Out in the geowifes new geo car and need to clear some caches in this area.Quick find TFTC
been awhile since anyones been here!! tree blocked the 4wd track and way round was abit dodgy without a winch!!! been training my dog to find geocaches before me... this is his 1st find all on his own.. im so proud of ziggy!!! took the tb... as its been here awhile. doesnt seem to be logged tho. tftc. lovely spot and waterfall was flowing nicely logbook a lil damp... but not bad
[:(!] Went for an afternoon caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar within 500 meters of GZ and walked the rest of the way, on arrival at GZ after bashing through the bush for 400 meters, came across a track and then crossing a creek in front of the waterfall which had plenty of water coming down it, after several minutes of searching I finally had the cache in hand. After an absolutely awesome day of caching with 1QSEEKER a bit further north than here, both of feeling tired but triumphant, I talked her into trying just one more. This one had been a thorn in my side after my last failed attempt at it. But today we came out smiling. The waterfall was spectacular, making me glad to have come back to see it in all its glory. Thanks to 1QSEEKER for a great day, and thanks to WanderingAus for bringing us here...
After a long day of walking up on a mountain some ks north Mistraluna thought it might be FUN to knock
this one off the list on the way home. Such a beautiful spot lovely to see the waterfall flowing and
a beaut way to end the day. Thanks for the trek and a good day out Mistraluna

Had a good look but couldn't find it. This is one of those caches that make me love Caching. I got to see a beautiful part of the world I would never have seen if it wasn't for caching. Thanks anyway
I had planned this afternoon's foray with the hope of getting my 700th find. I parked up on the road, and tried to find my way in, but true to my usual form, I did it the hard way. I found the waterfall, then got hopelessly lost trying to find my way to gz. Will have to give it another go some other time, preferably when geobuddy is along to keep me on the right track. Thanks anyway
To add to the confusion.....our GZ put us amongst MadPac's tall reeds. We searched and further searching would have got us wet as waterfall had a nice flow. So we gave up on coords and decided to look where we would hide a cache and a good 20m away from where we were searching we found the cache snug and dry. Made a swap, took some photos and on our way. TFTC and showing us a waterfall we would otherwise have missed.
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, somewhat mystified by the log by MadPac from just 16 days ago, which reads "...somewhat obscured by a lot of tall reeds. And no water over the falls at the mo".
I couldn't find my cache, but there are no tall reeds anywhere near where it belongs. I was also happy to see qhite a good flow over the falls considering it is late April and there haven't been any flooding rains in the area.
I dropped in a replacement cache container with a waterproof log (no bag required) and a supply of finders cards, pencils, sharpener and some swaps.
Good to go again, enjoy.

Out caching with the family on this Good Friday, and this is the first stop on our list. Approached the cache from the opposite side of the valley from where the track comes down which meant a nice 175m bush-bash on foot. And with the dense foliage overhead the GPS lead me on a bit of a long way round, but I loved every minute of it!!! Eventually cound this cache after 10 minutes of hunting, somewhat obscured by alot of tall reeds. And no water over the falls at the mo.
Unfortunately the cache was half full of water, which was subsequently poured out. The log remains dry though. Took horse frame (even though soaked thru as the Mad of MadPac loves ponies) and left Snowman tricycle toy.
TFTC WanderingAus, thrilled to find this cache after it's long period of inactivity!

It was getting very late and we decided that this would be our last cache for the day. We didn't realise it was going to take us as long as it did because we looked and looked and couldn't find it. But thanks anyway for bringing us to this lovely waterfall it was a nice spot to finish off the days caching.
Is a beautiful spot to put a cache. Took a few different shots of the waterfall.
Cache was very damp but I had nothing to dry it with as I had already dried a previous cache earlier and it was still too damp to dry this one.
Thanks for the cache.

Out for a Sunday Caching run down to Serpentine-Pinjara with GeoWife's, Sister and husband. We backed down the track for 100 metres, then walked the rest of the way. The waterfall was in full flight and looked beautiful. This is a little gem of a place.
The cache was not in the listed CO's as it had been Muggled and was left open and contents were on the ground about 25 metres from GZ. Chil had done the trip up to GZ and found a spot that looked like a cache should have been there. There was a comment from the Muggles, "Left empty stubby took ring". We signed the log sealed the cache and rehid at the listed CO"s.
Thanks WanAus for taking us to this lovely spot, if I had better suspension and tyres I would have driven all way down and turned around.

Dougal the geodog had a fantastic time. . .pretty sure this side of Kingsbury Drive isn't state forest so he was 'legal'. . .

That is so pretty who would of guessed it was hiding there thanks for putting a cache there so we could see it
Parked the car in a lay away just off the road about two hundred metres above the GZ. Wandered down followng the wildlife trails, as I approached you could hear the waterfall flowing. Arrived at the GPSr indicated GZ, it looked like a likely spot, but I was unsuccessful. I reread the description, the hint and previous logs and started to expand the search area. I soon found the item in the hint, and the cache was too hand. Grabbed the USA Sticker GC. Thanks WanderingAus for bringing me here, a wonderful spot in the forest.
Found it again we used this as a great place to have breakfast before we headed out for our days caching. Awesome
Took some first-time geocachers with us for a great day around the Serpentine Dam area. Managed to find three caches all up before stopping for a nice picnic lunch.... pity about the flies.
We were really frustrated we couldn't get closer to the waterfall.... such a nice spot. Thanks for leading us to it!
We found this a few weeks ago... only just getting around to logging it (1/11/11).

What a great cache to have as our 2000th GC find and we recorded that in the log book. Only one problem and that is that we didn't realize the previous WanAus cache was a GCA so this is in reality our 1999th . Anyway we enjoyed sitting on the log eating our celebratory muesli bars. It did take us a while to locate the cache because we hadn't read the description or previous logs so we ended up at GZ which was 22m away. After consulting the logs however we made the find. Thanks WanderingAus for the cache in this lovely spot and we of course took a finder's card.
Hey, this was the first cache ever so for us it was fantastic. The two young boys loved the stream and the waterfall.

This was a challenge to drive into and out again. Going down is quite easy but there's not a lot of space to turn around. Then the rain tumbled down wetting the slippery clay track. That's not ideal when your'e in 2WD but it's amaizing what a little speed can do. It just took Sandra a few minutes to clear all the cache swappables off the floor after calming her nerves. This is a great little spot hidden away from all but a few lucky grocachers. There's lots of water tumbling over the falls at the moment. T-0 L-0 TFTC
Find number 2 for us. After realising that the coordinates were slightly off (by reading another log) we found it as described. Great spot with a beautiful view of the waterfall.
Wow!!! We did about dozen caches on this date, as the Albany Canucks joined forces with some of Team Swartsies, and this was easily the cache-of-the-day! A lovely hiding place, and a spectacular location! Geowife grew up in this area, and never knew that this waterfall even existed barely a few km from where she grew up! An absolute feast for the eyes! Some of the juniors enjoyed crossing over the creek, and climbing up alongside the waterfall, and dumping their heads in the water to cool off. Absolutely brilliant, and easily the highlight of our day! If ever a cache served to highlight the benefits of geocaching in bringing you to otherwise unknown but beautiful locations, this is the one! A big thank you for this!

Great spot and well worth stopping. We came across the creek which was flowing rapidly after the deluge of the last couple of days. No swaps but took the "Pig TB"
rather hard find as cord`s slightly out cache is at S32.26.509 E116.01.293
left pig TB 999009
took nothing

It certainly sounded as if it would be a fantastic spot. We heard the waterfall gushing but couldn't see it as we approached GZ at 6.30 pm. Luckily we took note of past cachers comments about location and found it exactly as they stated.

Wandering Aus, how do you find these hidden gem locations ? Words would not describe the location, going there and breathing in the ambiance of the place is the only way to enjoy this location. Lovely walk up to the cache after parking and a bit of scratching my head as the coords pointed to a plethora of reed type long grass that I was not going to poke around in. Fear of snakes or was it the unknown in what I would discover ? Gave up and was walking back and re read the clues as I walked.
"A waterfall view". At that point looked down and saw the Cache. Was it fate or was it the view of the waterfall ? What ever it was, I found the cache and it is set in a magnificent place with the view of the waterfall in the backdrop. Thank you for the great cache Wandering Aus. A tribute to the natural splender of the bush and nature. TN and dropped of TB.

A day of caching to reach our 200, spent the afternoon around the tracks of Jarrahdale.
Didn't risk taking the jeep down the hill, followed the GPS and couldn't locate the cache. Read some of the logs and had a another a look around and found it easly about 20m from where the GPSr was showing GZ.

3TF. Coords are off as normal in these hilly parts. The description and clue work better.
Nice little waterfall, 40 km round ride was good.

Great part of the world we live in here. Yes the waterfall was flowing and was very nice. thanks for taking us to some great 4Wd tracks.
