Great Day. Walk about 19km, 5.5 hours Found 9 Caches and had 6 DNF Thanks to ALL. All Caches/Hint/GPS in good order.
No snakes found in the pit [:o]
No caches found where there were no snakes
I did have a nice stroll through the woods to get here !!
And the area is a nice change from all those pine trees

Have looked twice here in last few month, no sign of anything as per other recent logs. Think CO should check it
No luck for us today, found the hint spot in a couple of locations, but nothing resembling a cache that we could see.
Found the hint location, but nothing found there. Maybe just too impatient.
Unfortunately like the last couple of people we think that we found the likely spot but no cache. Maybe needs checking?
Managed to find a spot that fitted the hint perfectly but no sign of a cache. Tried moving around but gps kept sending me back to the same spot. The dog was happy to beat around the bushes (flushing out rabbits and quail) but the baby was getting grumpy.
Down from Hawkes Bay visiting family. Borrowed my brother in laws bike to go after a few caches in the area, and enjoyed all that i attempted. Decent sized containers, good trades, good hints. The way it should be. TFTC
Quite a walk in, enjoyed myself immensely.
Took a while to locate the cache, but worked at it.
Dropped TB.

What a great cache, the third for us on our walk through Bottle Lake forest. The general location was clear but narrowing it down took us a little while. Luckily, we'd thought to bring gardening gloves with us & dad spent about 20 minutes scrambling through the bushes & trees while mum carried a very tired son. Finally we found it!! Yay! And inside was our very first trackable! Very exciting.
One of our favourite caches so far & a great spot with a very clever hint Thanks for a lot of fun.

Found with Bradley Circus
I dropped a trackable here (Trucking In New Zealand - id TB2J0NQ) but accidentally logged it as being dropped at a nearby cache - ****Cool Oasis**** (GLE7C4QF) so please go to here to grab the little red truck you will have found. Apologies, this was my first time finding a trackable and my phone battery died just after I found the cache.

Thanks for the cache, BoyBoyBoy. I will never forget this one, as I left my phone their (whoops!)
I enjoyed finding this one Thanks.
-Bbear44 I found the trackable, unfortunately I did not visit Shangri la as I ran out of time. I will see what i can do to log it.

Wow being a snake pit felt i had to cache with a stick, but alas we are lucky here in NZ and no snakes......Phew. Love the forest, so cool. Cheers
Oh No i made a booboo, i have dropped a travel bug into this cache but logged it in the one next to this by mistake (shangri-La) i hope the next person to pick it up can work it out. it is the one with pooh, pigglet and eyore called "explorer Bryan tag". (can't pick up and move it don't have it's tracking code on me.)
Picked it up on an unsuccessful walk in the forest to get a puzzle cache waypoint. At least I got a cache though. Thanks
Bit of adventure bush bashing, love seeing what the hint was about even though I was looking for something entirely different !
Another one that PC Sniff found before me, but still we both enjoyed the hunt, even the bush bash! Hint was clear once found, but a bit of a distraction for me when we were looking. Thanks for placing this cache.
Found eventually because of a lot of similar looking hint objects, Found with jrb5050 TFTC
After telling the kids to be quiet several times it was finally found. Geo dog is very useless
Another nice and sunny afternoon and I went for a walk through the nearby forest and parks. The cache was easy to find and it's such a lovely and peaceful place. Many thanks for showing!

Cleverly hidden. Took a little bit of dodging spider webs between trees to get to this one. We enjoyed having to hunt for it. Thanks for a great cache.
We liked that this was not such an obvious spot to find. Found after scrambling through the bushes for a bit. TFTC.
alpenmilch80 and I took three little muggles who live closeby out for a bit of geocaching and this nice hide was one of the geocaches we went after

The three little muggles who live close by had fun on their first geocaching run. Guess Solokrieger and I found three future geocacher. TFTC
Took us a lot of searching...then stumbled across it! Hint accurate but better examples around which puzzled us!
Did take us a little while to find this cache but sucess came after moving away from where we were first searching.

Searched for ages. Ruined my streak, 9/10 finds for day! Any hints? Thought I had the spot
Found this cache as part of a geocaching exercise with Freeville High Flyers. Matt. Tim, Sanne, Ben.
Another easy find. Went straight to it probably due to no large trees around which seem to quickly lose reception on my gps. TFTC
RJG found it again!
Three of the four are rather worse for wear!! (Look at the hint....)

I was out and about fairly early this morning before I left Christchurch in the afternoon. A nice walking area with plenty of muggles.
Cheers for the cache.
Very damp drizzly day. This made hunting around in the undergrowth quite difficult. Site exactly as described. Took the last snake and left some bubbles. SL, TFTC.
Had to fight through the dense bush with machete in hand as the wild animals whooped and cried in the dense bush to find the pit of the snakes... Cool spot, it is a nice piece of native bush now. This was fifth for the evening and and our forth in the forest. Thanks for placing this cache. It wasn't that long ago that it was a landfill! Great spot for running, biking, walking, ducking in and out of bushes looking for boxes.
