Found with e.gregory1 during a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia and return. Heading back home after Xmas on the farm. Planning to stop and hunt my way back. Hoping the 41 degrees wont come to fruition. Taking the inland road this trip. Thanks to the CO’s for placing caches in remote areas for us wonderlusters to enjoy.
Whewww - just managed this before I lost total sunlight! Love these multis! Thank you

27-Dec-22
Found while returning from a trip to Mount Magnet.

29-Aug-22
Found on a trip to the west from South Australia., visiting friends and relatives, checking out the sites and finding caches of interest along the way.

The weather has been really good since I headed north of Perth. There has been no rain and the winds haven’t been too bad. Makes a welcome change from the previous 3 weeks when I was constantly beating my way into strong winds and it rained almost every night! I hope it holds out for the next couple of weeks as I head south end east on my way home.

The required information was gathered at the waypoints and final coordinates determined. The cache was found a short distance away at good coordinates and is in excellent condition with a brand new logbook.

Unfortunately the logbook (or cache container) didn’t contain the clue for GC1QYV5. I messaged the CO offering to add it to the logbook before I left town, but didn’t receive a reply.

Thanks WanderingAus for the cache.

19-Aug-22
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, confirmed the cache was very wet, and replaced the container and all contents with a new drab camo'd 500 ml round screw-top container, with a logbook, finders cards, pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener and a small quantity of swaps.

After finding your nearby cache we made our way to this one. I love the LKA series and this one was no exception. We found the source of the information and worked out our coordinates. We made our way to gz and spotted our prize straight away, I love the camo. We added our names to your log book and returned your cache back to its location. Favourite point coming up when I get a fresh batch. TFTC WanderingAus.

I love the LKA multi's, and exploring these country cemeteries. This was great camo too! We started out with the geopups on our adventure for today! Which coincides with day 1 of stage 2 of the Covid 19 plan. Leaving home at 0330h in Baldivis we drove an 820km loop. Our main aim was a maintenance check an Watheroo, taking in sights and scenery of Joondalup, Gingin, Badgingarra National Park, Watheroo National Park, Gunyidi, Dalwallinu, New Norcia, Bindoon back to Baldivis, arriving at 2030h. What a great day! Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.

This morning was a great day for caching with it being overcast and a lot cooler. So it was off on the hunt with ilook4geo. We had a good day, with picking up some caches along the route we took, as we headed southish again.
Each cache found had both names added to the paperwork and each cache was found to be in good order. We are gathering caches in as many LGAs as we can while we are in WA. Thanks go to WanderingAus for this cache placement. Numbers worked well for this multi and cache was found without any problem.

A planned road trip to Jurien Bay with a different route than normal, nearly triple the kilometres to grab some smileys. 21-Nov-16
Headed back up to Geraldton for another caching run (third time this year). We started off by picking up as many caches as we could in the wheatbelt on the first day before arriving in Geraldton. The next day we headed up to port Gregory and Kalbarri and the highlight of the day would have to be be the pink lakes in port Gregory. Day 3 saw us caching in Geraldton picking up some we missed last time and clearing up a few of our DNFS here before adding some more DNFS to the list. Day 4 we headed off to mount magnet picking up some caches along the way till we arrived there. I must say the caches in mount magnet were quite tricky to find and it was also a stinking hot day so we didn't get to find all the caches we were hoping to find there. The last day we cached along the coast on the way home. Once again it was stinking hot and we missed doing a lot of the caches we hoped to find plus the flies were driving us crazy but we still got to visit some great places. Most of the caches we looked for we did find and we came across some very sneaky well made cache containers along the way. Thanks to all the CO,s for placing there caches for us and all the other geocachers to find.

04-Nov-16
WanderingAus wandered by on a maintenance run, moved the cache to a new spot, and replaced the container with a drab camo'd 80mm diameter 90mm high round screw-top container. Left a logbook, finders cards, pen, two pencils and a pencil sharpener.

This cache was also included in GC1QYV5 WanAus 89 - Roaming Western Australia replacing GC1QBV4 WanAus 72 - Dalwallinu Dawdle, so there is now a number in the back of the log book.

My partner called to tell me that she had just made a purchase over the internet, and the goods were located in Geraldton, so I hatched a route to grab as many country caches as I could along the way.

An interesting wander through another country cemetary.

Up and away early this morning and this is our second cache of the day before moving on from Dalwallinu.

After finishing the Miners Pathway yesterday we made our way to Dalwallinu for the night.
Wow what a cold night, I had to sleep with double clothing just to be warm but we woke to a beautiful sunny day so at least that part is good.

After packing up the camper and doing a cache nearby we made our way to this one

I had worked out the co-ords at home the other week so a quick walk to the cache for another find for the morning. Did signing duties and put it back before going off to visit the grave of my Great Aunt Jessie

TFTC Smile A bit of water in cache and log slightly damp

if I've log all that I've done on our short holiday this one should be my 2000th find Big Grin
Great to claim it near Aunt Jessie

26-May-15
We replaced the leaking cache and put it in a zip lock bag.
Everything is good.
We were chatting with a local Council guy and he told us the area of the cache was going to be cleared but the big trees should be safe. He now will make sure it stays safe.
The photo is of the garden for unborn babies. Apparently there are a lot buried there.

Our family has a GPSr but it's pretty basic and we don't really know how to do much with it so we have never done a multicache. While our aunty was visiting, she took us to this cache. We ran around and found the grave and also stopped to visit our great grandparents who are buried here. Thanks for the cache.

With Dalwallinu our chosen stay for the night, we decided to track this one down before sunset Wink. We parked the van as close to gz as we could, and set about gathering the required info Smile. It wasn't long before we had some credible co-ords, and after a short hike, we had GZ in site.
Dm09 had taken control of the GPSr, and was leading us in a likely direction, but as we searched around, it was Master 2 who eventually led us to victory Big Grin All ok and dry with this one .... TFTC WanderingAus Big Grin

I'd been doing some work in Dalwallinu and was leaving town on the west side of the reserve when I saw the cemetery. I knew there was a LKA in town so decided to find it before continuing my journey. The GPS reading was jumping around a fair bit so in the end I was just searching likely locations when I found the cache. Left a couple of GC's. TFTC.

28-Jul-11
Wow, it must of been busy here today, we were wondering around looking for the soldier only to find an open grave with the casket with flowers on it - I have never seen this before. As we were leaving the cemetry the shire truck with the backhoe on it to fill it in. RIP. TFTC

23-Apr-11
Again not a bad location for a LKA with a majestic old eucalypt taking centre stage and a mixed bag of residences ranging from unmarked to elaborate. Once the info was collected we headed off to gz where as been happening a bit on this trip I missed the location on the first sweep and Diane got it on her time around. We then enjoyed the walk back to the car via a different way enjoying reading the plaques.
Thanks again for the cache
