One end of the path is blocked off but the end nearest the gate and carpark is open. Good find
G'day from Brisbane Australia! On tour, and today we are in Old Edinburgh checking out this castle. I took a side tour of my own afterwards and found my own views.

*{Overall find #5837}*Our challenge today was getting to this site from the west. Soon found GZ and the container. Lots of blackberries here. Can only imagine those from the castle long ago eating their fill. Left a few TB's and off we went to explore the gardens. Left a geotracable from Geowoodstock. Thanks for placing a container we can leave things in. Candyce54 Missouri. USA.
A tour of the castle would not be complete without a cache. We both scrambled up and down until a hand found the cache. Grateful too as the other gc10 we attempted was missing. Left two t b. T f t c
After the end of conference I hurried up to the castle to have a beautiful view over Edinburgh. On my way back I stopped at this cache and exchanged some travellers. A nice hide on a historical place. Unfortunately the inventory isn't up-to-date.

We got too adventurous with our climb but eventually found it on the way back down
I had a walk around the castle with Soßenlöffel today. We used this occasion to seek and log this cache. Greetings from Germany for hiding a cache at such a nice location (#1806).
After a quick walk from the hotel and a short climb up Castle Hill, the box was found in no time.

Heading up to check out the Castle and parked jsut down the road from this one and grabbed it on the way past. No problems and the cache was soon in hand. Grabbed the 2 TB's to move back to Australia.

Easy find, TFTC. Dropped off a Geocoin here as its mission was to reach Scotland, so why not Edinburgh castle. Also found Humpty Dumpty TB.

Decided I needed a wee walk and dropped off a Geocoin while there. It's from Germany and it hopes to travel with Geocaching Kids

PS: I found the box in a different location from last time, not far though, just not as well hidden. Put it back where I found it but thought I should inform the owner!

I'm visiting Scotland from Atlanta, GA, and managed to break away from the group for a bit to do some caching. I was staring down towards GZ from Edinburgh Castle earlier on in the day. Later, I got to descend into Princes Garden from King's Stable Road and find the cache. I left a pathtag for a future finder. Great one, thanks for the smiley!

My last day in Edinburgh... and very sad that is. Love this city. However, it was my first day to really look for caches now my muggle sister had left for London hehehe. I was lucky here. There were workmen closing off part of the park but the cache GZ was just outside and I could hunt unimpeded. Made a quick grab and dropped off a TB.
Next it was up to the castle to start the Royal Mile Multi!
