After a puzzle blitz, today was the day to go find them. So far,so good. Was hoping I didn't need to descend as far as I did but finding it was just enough reward. Log and cache fine. Tftc Md
With a little help from friends, managed to give it a find.
Cache all good here!
Cache all good here!
Found as team MICKS.
Cache in good condition.
This is my 2773 find.
Thank you Mickeydv for placing and maintaining this cache.
Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!
(I’m not a geologist I just like puns)
We knew what we had to do puzzle wise, but had PAF to help with the final find. TFTH!
I C Nothing had the final location for this cache so started asking towards GZ.
When we arrived we looked high and low and all around and wasn’t able to locate anything.
Another 15 minutes later we PAF who gave us the last nudge needed to claim the find.

With an event on the cards swapped the traditional Tuesday night caching for a Wednesday this week.
Met up with SirFancy, Meme28 & I C Nothing after work to reform the SMIC or is that MICS.
Started in Bibra Lake before making our way to Freo.
After a good feed and catch-up at the event made our way along the river towards the city picking up finds that we all needed.
An absolutely fantastic evening with friends managed to net me 14 finds and 1 DNF.
• • • • •
Thanks Mickeydv for placing Enigmatic for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 21:22 on 11/5/2022.
This is find number 4550 for me.

Another night out with team SMIC - Sir Fancy, Meme28, I C Nothing and Cirrus_wa. This was a most difficult find at night and many options after 30minutes of searching we called on a Paf and had a reliable hint. Even the. Took another ten minutes of searching of leaf litter but we eventually got it!
After 2 previous tries, and asking for some help, I finally had the cache in my hand - nice a warm out there.
another hard/interesting puzzle solved quite some time back. This is my third visit to Perth since then and it's great to finally get here and turn it into a smile...... after a few minutes of searching.
Thanks again Mickeydv
With the Wangaratta mega postponed, I suggested to stainless steel rat that perhaps a Perth trip was in order, knowing full well he hadn’t graced the West yet. We used up one of our last airline credits and with a little top up we were set. As usual we had a hit list of high D/Ts, virtuals (although I had done most on previous trips), oldies, large caches and favoured ones. We only scratched the surface but had a blast doing it.
We brought a ladder and pole with us but kayaks were going to be way too much to cope with on a five day whirlwind visit! Thanks to the many CO’s for their hides, maintenance and assistance.

This was the last sort of planned cache of the trip and it took a bit of a search before the new container was found and we added our names to the logs.
Thanks for the cache.
Myself and Goose had many plans for the tickets we used for this trip, i cant remember the details but I think it was three canceled Mega's and after the last cancellation we only had so long to use up the tickets and with a little bit of cash added we worked out we could have to a trip to Perth to hunt for some fine looking caches.
A 'shortlist' of 587 caches was put together for the trip albeit with the PQs of the whole state as a backup just in case we wanted to forgo sleep, in the end we found 120ish caches in 4 and a bit days, 60 of which were in the 4WD FOTT Go Bush series.
While we were over we got a chance to go to a GIFF Event and briefly meet a few of you locals, thanks for the chat.
Thanks for the cache.

Teamed up with ullyssia today to go looking for this cache, which fills the second-last D/T grid spot for both of us!
Ullyssia solved the puzzle after a few attempts and helped me get there as well. Our first visit to GZ today was fruitless, so we went around to look for a few other caches in the area before coming back later in the afternoon. After only a few minutes, ullyssia managed to find the container under a layer of leaf litter - 15 months since the previous find!
Thank you for the great puzzle and the nice location Mickeydv, a favourite.

Thank you! Teamed up with papillon367 for an afternoon of caching. Ended up much rainier than expected. I don't know how many times I've looked at this one previously, and couldn't figure it out, though other similar puzzles weren't a problem. Knowing this would fill one of the last two spots in my DT grid, I read logs and did more research before it all made sense. Our first attempt to find the cache today didn't pan out. But we decided to try again before heading home, and somehow managed to find the cache relatively quickly this time. Super happy to make the find. Thanks for the puzzle.
Another bright spot of this pandemic. The place would normally be crawling with people but today relatively quiet. Brilliant to fill another hole in my grid. A combined effort from cachers on both sides of the country... brains in Canberra and the brawn team (well Me&B gets all the credit) here. More than 1.5 m apart!
Allied_OZ, SVKR_WA, and myself headed out today to try and bag a mixture of caches and types for Leap day before heading to the event at Point Walter.
Have had this in my solved pile for longer than I can remember so out today in the area and decided to wander down to make the find.
After dodging muggles, I went in from another angle and found the cache. Not sure which version but it had geo Jake on there.
Many thanks to Mickeydv for placing and maintaining Enigmatic. We found it, signed it, and put it back as found. We found this one at 7:48 am on Saturday and this is my find 8422.

Found eventually by Kyzabra after dodging muggles and searching around.
With Leap Day somewhat of a big deal on the caching calendar, Kyzabra, AlliedOz and I made a plan to meet up and grab as many different cache types as we could prior to the event at Pr Walter.
We met up at Bicton and headed out for a morning of funds, fun and frivolity.
Mickeydv SVKR_WA is happy to have found your cache Enigmatic today at 08:01:47 29 Feb 2020. This brings my find count to 4012
Mickeydv - Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment. We love travelling the state and visiting some places that we would only visit due to this game.

What a great feeling to finally solve and find this cache! When I first saw this puzzle, I immediately knew what needed to be done, but it was a matter of finding the right tool and then using it correctly! I tried many times on and off over the past year or so, but just couldn't get the coords. After solving a few other (easier) puzzles that use the same tool, I thought I was onto a reliable website. I tried to use it to solve this one only to find it is no longer maintained and inaccessible Thankfully a different website was recommend, and I finally managed to input the data correctly. Hurray - there were the coords staring back at me!!!
Driving past GZ today, we stopped and Mr atCat scrabbled around, while I called out hints from previous logs (while trying to keep baby atCat entertained). We managed to get here at a quiet time and Mr soon had the cache in hand thank you for another great puzzle, Mickeydv, and for the cache

A quorum of the Fott was here so we are retrospectively claiming the find. If that's an issue let us know.
Interesting history reasearching how to solve this puzzle, at GZ the cache was found with minimal trouble, we didnt find the original that is apparently in play but we found the replacement.
A fantastic spot which i had never been to before.
Thanks for the puzzle and hiding this cache.

We came along with Dad to help him find this cache, it is a great beach, I saw people had sailed to it in small sailing dingys. It looked like a great spot to sail to.
In the end Dad found the cache before we could.
Thanks for the hide

Out and about on the last day of my holidays picking up a smiley here and there. This one was my main target for today, I've had it solved for a while, cant remember if I got help or not, (probably did) and it might come in handy for a challenge cache I'm working towards so it was top of the agenda.
Parked up nearby and made my way to a very picturesque GZ, my initial search attempt was for naught, I had a think about it and read back on some logs to make sure I was at the right elevation and decided I was. Back into it albeit interrupted by the odd muggle passing by but eventually I found the container.
Glad to have this one crossed of the list.
Mickeydv I found your cache at 12:36pm, this was the 4th of 7 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5172. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

We headed out today to grab a couple of smileys before the GIFF event, another puzzle done so all that was left was to perform our signing duties, we had a nice quick find here and we added our name to the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot TFTC

Finally in the area with enough time to get this one after solving a long time ago

Thanks Mickeydv for bringing me to this location. I found the cache at 13:32:00. This was my Find 5 for today out of a Total number of 5 Finds and 0 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 4370.

Decided to head out this morning on a very wet wintery day to grab a few caches. I have no idea when Mr OOH YEH solved this I just happened to notice on the map that we still hadn't found it yet. Had no trouble getting a parking spot as there was definitely no muggles about today in this weather. I think I got blown all the way to GZ and once there it didn't take to long to spot the cache as it was out in the open. Have replaced where I assume it should be with some natural camo over the top. A fav point for the puzzle and location TFTC Mickeydv
Trying to clean up this area and put some more smiley faces around. Glad to say that that I got this one. Although I did go the hard way to get it tftc
Feels so good to have finally solved this one, wow what a challenge! Beautiful day for a bike ride to GZ, just had to wait for large group of muggles to leave. TFTC!
Finally solved the puzzle, decided to head out on the bikes to make the find. Arriving at ground zero revealed a group of people having a photography class, we waited a short while before they moved on to another spot. Great now we can begin the search. I has a bit of deja vu moment as I have found a cache here before. Managed to make a quick find before signing the log and returning it as found. Many thanks for the cache and the puzzle.
I'll be the first to admit I couldn't solve this puzzle but went with SnapHappy who had. Thanks SnapHappy and Mickeydv.
Thanks for the hide. Nice to find a D5 found part of event up on the hill. Excellent cache and tricky to work out happy to have help.
**Found this while House Sitting in Bedfordale**
*Out and about whilst attending the nearby Event*... What a fantastic area.
A short stroll along a picturesque area, a short search, found cache, stamped and returned.
This had been solved prior to me coming to WA as I planned to host an Event nearby. I must admit to getting some help with this challenging puzzle and it was nice to be able to tick it off.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Mickeydv. Appreciate your effort.

While finishing off another cache we were informed the Snap Happy had the solved co-ords so we joined the short walk to caches hideout, to claim our 3rd smiley for the day.
In the area getting some FTF opportunities and had this cache close by. After a short walk cache was soon found. A great view with pelicans and dolphins putting on a great display. TFTH TFTC
I had a short window of time between the school run today, and decided to try and find this cache. Once I figured out what elevation to be at, I had it quickly in hand. TFTC Mickeydv
We had been doing the tourist stuff and caching of course on our visit to Perth on our W.A. section of our lap. Coruze and I had almost given up on finding this one, but persistence was rewarded in the end. With the cache finally in our hands we signed the log and replaced as found and continued on. My off-sider left her sunnies at the cafe, bugger.
Thanks Mickeydv.

Staying in Perth for a week with troobloo and we decided to get a couple of caches while we enjoyed seeing everything Perth has to offer.......NOICE.....
Anyway this cache was a target of ours as a MUST DO [?]
It took me a while to learn how to do these puzzles but thankfully they aren't too bad now. However in saying that this one still took me a while and a couple of goes until I got the green light. [B)]
We headed over to GZ and what a lovely are that surrounds the cache! We enjoyed the walk over and even took a couple of photos.... Perth is such a pretty place!
The find took a while as we had to stop a couple of times due to muggles and we talked about giving up the hunt twice! I just couldn't walk away from it cause who knows how long or if I'd ever get back here......I had to get it right then!
Finally the sucker was found and after doing our cachely duties there was high fives all round. In fact due to the excitement of being able to cross this one off the list we went for celebaration coffee in a cafe nearby walked away and I left my sunglasses behind
Thanks for the puzzle, hide and fun Mickeydv!

I solved this one way back before the 2016 International Geocaching Day Event in Geraldton. So why haven't I been to look for it yet? So many caches, so little time. Better late than never. TFTC Mickeydv
A chat with the CO & Co. at last Saturday's Event gave us the motivation to return. He picked one spot and got prickles. I picked the other way, and got the cache!
Very happy to have a smiley here! TFTC MDV!

While at a recent event with some well known associates of this question mark, we felt as though armed with better info for success. And we did today, although I found lots of prickles m4yb found the real thing, so she completed signing duties.

After receiving some information at an event I thought I might give this one another crack. Finally I can turn my frown upside down and claim my smiley on this one. Still a swim in the river might of been nice on this hot summers day. A tricky puzzle but after doing some similar ones I got the green light. TFTC and Puzzle Mickeydv the needs maintence icon can go on this one as all is good here once again.
Second visit today, this time after a little AAF (Ask A Friend). We all looked, I stressed at a fall for one of us, but no dice today either. Will keep trying as I NEED this D/T combination!!!!!
Out with fresh eyes and an AaF, we were quite sure we would succeed, but no joy. Will watch with interest.
First time here, and despite a prickly find I didn't get a cacheing find. Not my first Enigmatic puzzle and Im sure it wont be my last.
I worked out some coordinates for this puzzle so long ago, with a little bit of help. And while we had been duck 43 hunting, time had come to turn it into a smiley. Spent a long time looking for the cache, knowing a find would make it all worrhwhile.
However, it was not to be today. We looked high and low, here and there, no luck. This is one I would love to come back to one day.
We did find a pair of "killer heel" shoes on a rock, left them there as they were neither my size or a style for geocaching trampsing, Another mystery as to how they got there!

We are currently in Western Australia visiting our daughter and her family and taking the time to do some exploring when we can sneak some time away from them. During our first week we were able to head down to Albany and Denmark for a few days before heading back to Perth for another two weeks.
This has been an elusive puzzle to crack but eventually with a few nudges we were able to come up with a set of co-ordinates but of course that was just to be the first challenge. When we arrived at ground zero our GPS seemed to lead us to a spot at the wrong elevation but of course we had to thoroughly search there first didn't we As it was beginning to get late we ended up phoning a previous finder who enlightened us and after returning to the correct level, we soon had the cache in hand.
Thank you Mickeydv for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

After moving to Perth over three years ago we had tried & tried to nut this one out, but it all proved to hard & it was put in the ever growing pile of puzzles we will get to one day Recently I had been working on this one again & with a nudge from a previous finder we were finally able to extract some coords for this elusive puzzle [^]
Today whilst we were in the area visiting one of the kids favorite spots, we headed off to find this one... Initially we were concerned about the welfare of the cache as extensive works have been done nearby, but with a bit of searching we were able to find the tube. We did hunt around for a bit more time looking for the other container but were not successful. The kids were starting to throw rocks so it was time to move on.
Thanks for a great puzzle Mickeydv & for showing us this awesome spot

The code is cracked. This was not my first Enigma puzzle that I solved. I love the Enigma caches. Thanks for the challenge it has fun great. Many greetings from Switzerland by Lex + Sheepy
We have looked at Mickeydv puzzles on and off since we first started caching but they always ended up on the too hard pile. In collaboration with our geo daughter (Katielvk) we have now managed to solve a few (mainly her brain power and my motherly support ) and geo hubby and I decided to head out today to find them.
Found with not too much difficulty, the log is a bit damp but still signable. Thanks for the puzzle and hide Mickeydv

Was happy to finally work out the code. Paid an evening visit and couldn't find anything under torch light. Thanks for the puzzle.
With some previous experience in deciphering these types of puzzles, I though this one was going to be a snap, but after two years I was still stumped. It was only until the other night, it was late and I just tried random variations of what I was doing previously and then magically some readable text started appearing! Hooray! So, it didn't take me long to make my way to Gz to secure the smiley and end the saga. It was found quite quickly and it appears that I found the older solid case, rather than the replacement. What a most satisfying puzzle to eventually solve and what a great (and fitting) place to sign the cache log. Tftc mickeydv
Certainly one of the more confounding examples of this type! Eventually solved with a little help from the CO. Thanks for the puzzle, hope to collect a smiley soon.
Day sixty of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
Went out to collect a few challenges we had been looking at - some successful, some not so.
We had solved this puzzle before we came to Perth last year, but were unsuccessful in locating the container. Not so today. We had it in hand very quickly (another one of those - "not sure why we didn't find it last time" ones)
The river was very calm and looked lovely this morning.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 8278. A beautiful day dawns in Fremantle and we decide to put plan A into action. Let's go and log some Challenge caches and solved puzzles and a few traditionals along the way. Mmmm, things didn't go exactly to plan with 3 DNF's (sad news)!
Another area we had visited in April 2014 when we searched unsuccessfully. Thankfully we still had the puzzle in our folder for this visit. Having read LAXA's log when we arrived at GZ we felt a little hopeful. Like them we found the original container. It contains only a log book and a pencil. The log book is very wet and needs replacing. We did not sight the replacement container.
The river looked smooth and inviting this morning.
Thanks Mickeydv

Again a puzzle with a twist. Needed a little nudge to unwind the twist and apply the enigma knowledge. The checker gave a green light a day before we went out for a play date during the school holidays. The kids were playing literally next to GZ without mum realizing. After getting home we discovered where the kids had played and decided to come back with the kids . We took turns to search GZ and the gps had us sitting on the coordinates. Finally, geohubby found a container and brought it out to sign the log. . We quickly realized that we must have stumbled upon the original container, with no sign of the described replacement. Well, we found a log and signed it, so we are claiming this find. The log was a bit wet, but hey consindering the time it's been there, it was still pretty readable. Thanks for the puzzle and the location, as I said, the kids would be here any day if they could!!

Solved this one as my first enigmatic puzzle cache and it's still the hardest example I have found. A real challenge to solve from scratch but I got there in the end - it was very satisfying when something sensible emerged from the machine. Headed to the area for another look around after my DNF in December but was successful this time. I sustained just as many spike wounds and ended up just as perilously close to the cliff, but it was all worth it for the smiley! Thanks for a great puzzle and history lesson.
Set out on a Birthday adventure do fill up some more spots in my D/T grid. Didnt get to where I wanted but a good day in total.
Came here in January but left with nothing, came back today with geodad as it had been replaced by K.B.
Didnt know where to look but there was a scary cliff face nearby though.
I kept looking and then had that "GOT IT" moment which was a great relief.

Had a good look around GZ and used Everlasting's picture to locate where the cache used to be - didn't find anything, like the previous searchers.
Spotted this one in the water (the puzzle location, I mean!) tonight and was chuffed to get a green light from the checker after about an hour of reading various info sources and downloading a rather cumbersome piece of software to use as a tool. I learned so much in the process, thanks for a great puzzle! Gives a bit more insight into what the teams involved in the cracking had to get their heads round. Seems like I shouldn't expect to find a cache at the end of it but I will go for a look at some point.
Spent today chasing up mysteries we had solved but not found south of us.
BettyBoo3747 and I had mixed fortunes at this.
Solved the puzzle OK, but we couldn't locate the cache container.
Thanks, Robmc.

I first attempted this one a couple of years ago but kept running into dead ends, I met the CO recently who gave me some hints for some other of his caches and it got me going again to attempt the other ones I couldn't solve. I'm happy to say that I managed to solve this one and it only took a couple of days of trying different combinations and reading instructions many times over, I eventually discovered another MickeyDV twist in the code (nothing is ever straighforward) and the solution appeared.
Found the container that The Drovers had signed so I hope that is the right one, it seemed pretty close to the cliff edge to me.
TFTC and puzzle MickeyDV, it was an interesting lesson on a famous machine.

Spent the day caching around the southern suburbs of Perth.
We visited a variety of parks, and cache hides.
Found the black painted tube, with a ball jammed in the bottom, no log to be found.
Added a temporary log and replaced where found. Needs checking.
Thanks for the cache, Mickeydv.

Solve several puzzles in preparation for our caching trip to WA. This one was a doezzy and enjoyed the search.. Found with J+J.au SL..TFTC
Solved several of these each with a different twist, eventually got a set of working Coods, a very cryptic machine.. That geo caching has taught me. Today were here to sign the log, love the location. Pity some one has knocked off the plaque TFTC.

Thanks for replacing the cache Mickeydv. Stunning views at GZ, especially early in the morning or at sunset. Mind the prickle bushes at GZ! Extremely tricky puzzle.

Replaced cache with a Berocca tube painted black.......hidden in safer terrain, there is no need to go right to edge of cliff.
No joy this morning. Built up a massive sweat. Will need to return in shoes that don't have cleats on them since I suspect I need to venture into more daring terrain.
The area was being occupied by some youth, who were filling the air with some rather distinct smells. Didn't look, alas my first 5* eludes me still...
Chose the wrong altitude on the first attempt and had to walk around to the correct one only to have to out wait an amorous couple cuddling 3m from GZ,after they had moved on a quick find was made.

Solved this puzzle a long time ago but it was not as easy to solve as some other similar puzzle caches. After speaking with the CO at an event I picked up a clue which enabled me to finaly crack the code.
Picked up the find whilst on an evening duck hunt. Thanx Micheydv.
Picked up the find whilst on an evening duck hunt. Thanx Micheydv.
Having solved one of these recently we turned our hand to this one which proved harder but thanks to a couple of confirmations from the CO we cracked the code and it printed out a set of co-ords so no need to use the geo checker. A quick check on google maps and it looked good. We took our time and got to GZ the easy way. We then waited for the GPSr to settle and tried a couple of elevations. We then widened the search and where concerned with the fading light. We found a number of plastic bottles with hoses so it is a popular spot with a certain type. Some more searching and we then spotted the cache. Relief. Signing duties complete and the cache replaced we were off to grab another nearby as the sun set. TFTC and puzzle.
This provided me with no end of headaches. I 'knew' what I had to do but couldn't get it right.
A bit of research showed me I had the first part right I just wasn't doing the rest right.
So, the day I was able to come to GZ and search for the bugger arrived and I made a quick find before heading on to more solved puzzles.

I had solved this puzzle with Everlasting several months ago and contacted the CO with concerns that the cache was missing after searching extensively at gz.
Didn't hear back that the cache was replaced so was pleased when Everlasting texted that she located the new cache only a few days ago. So after a delicious seafood lunch we decided to walk it off by doing the rounds of the puzzles we had solved but not had yet located. Very quiet this afternoon so perfect time for caching undetected.

Finally make it today with FelixII, She found the container before me.... Lovely view from GZ. We had a good fun. Signed the log. Thanks Mickeydv.
Mrs Felix and Everlasting out caching on a girlie caching day today!
Pleased to report Everlasting solved this puzzle! However I have been working on it and was most of the way there as I told the CO last week (he did look more than skeptical though) Ha! With the work we have been doing on CPS The Real Final this was looking like a walk in the park......
Hmmm that was till we parked the car. Well it was hot today and sure enough we couldn't fid a direct route to GZ, so meandered along enjoying the view and the day in general. (yep chatting as we went) Arrived at our GZ, debated and agreed on an approach. Yep you guessed it the wrong one. So after making it a 4* terrain rating we arrived at the nice shiny new cache with no name on it???
Boy we really hope we found the right cache, and not one about to be published.... lol
TFTC Mickeydv You sure Terrain isn't 5*

Nice puzzle. But as night was falling we didn't make the find.
We went up, we went down, but no cache.
I can't believe that we can find your nano's, and not an ammo can!
(I checked our answer with another cacher and we were looking in the right spot, but no banana!)
Thanks, Robmc.

I was so excited today to find an ammo can that I forgot to leave my coin in it. Ah well...
Did you know there are two ways to get to this cache? There's a hard way and a slightly easier way. Either way it was fun to do. Cheers!

A neat puzzle who's GZ is a cool spot. In the dark it's still good as you get to walk past so hot property [^][^][^][^]
Looking at the situation, the Frog jumped over the side and increased the terrain rating (at night) to almost 5 Astros. Of course he was out of breath by the time he arrived at GZ. Go figure. No clues here. Mwhahahaha. Where is it really. Nice local camo. Clear skies and our thanx to Mickeydv for this one.

Interestingly I sat nearby on Thursday night and never turned my GPSr on. Good thing to because it would have ruined my meal. So it was neat coming back tonight and looking for a cache in a mad house. At one stage I turned this cache into 4* terrain and climbed down to the beach. No caches down there. No submarines either. Eventually my companion said Huckle Buckel. The puzzle was a treat. I can only suggest that you move up to Purple.
I could not believe my luck when I spotted this puzzle a couple of days ago. Having been interested in this subject for a while, I had a fairly good idea of what I needed to do. Even though I had never decrypted a message like this before, I managed to work out fairly quickly how to do it, and had the coordinates on hand in no time. Then after work today duncdonut73 and I headed off to the GZ with umbrellas in hand and located the cache easily. The wet weather seemed to have kept most muggles away. Thanks Mickeydv. I thoroughly enjoyed this cache.
I spent a lot of time trying to solve this cache in August. I knew I was on the right track so asked for a hint but really didn't get anywhere as from there I ended up focussing on the one type of encryption tool which it turns out wasn't quite right. Anyway, I put aside the long spreadsheet of my trials and tribulations leaving the whole puzzle in the back of my mind for a while.
Along came my brother, who said he'd solved this (incidentally a day after I thought I should tell him about it, but never had to) and when he talked about the encryption tool, I figured exactly where I had been going wrong. Solved in minutes thereafter as I already had my workings laid out. We popped out together after work to nab the cache on a nice wet afternoon without many muggles around. Terrain-wise we managed more easily than we thought it looked and it wasn't too scarey even in the wet weather. Ended off the day with a great meal at a very nearby restaurant... TFTC and the puzzle Mick!!
Dipping in for a visit a couple of TBs, including my YES NO / YES NO / YES NO GC particarly as today is YES NO / YES YES / YES NO...

The puzzle involved an extra bit to what we expected but got there eventually. Resorted to phone a friend at GZ because the muggles were out in force and made the hunt very difficult. Good to finally make the grab. Thanks mickeydv - would like to get a few more of yours as easily as this one

For this puzzle I was obviously too stupid . What to do was clear but how to do it, I needed massive help from MDV (thx for that).
The log this morning was easy as there were not many people around at 8 am.
Then I came home and thought: hey, just one more MDV puzzle to go, then I have them all. When I started my computer immediately a new puzzle popped up. Oh, man, have you nothing else to do Michael?
So you keep me busy.
TFTC and cheers from Germany.

This was a puzzle and a half! It was a real mission to work out how the device worked - and then to work out what to do with the given information... Finally after a combination of advice given by the owner and also AusTrackers, it all finally fell into place. Then it was a most enjoyable walk to the general area, where I earnt my 3* terrain. Thanks for yet another puzzle and hunt Mickeydv.
Tough puzzle. Thought I had it figured but something wasn't quite right. Kept trying and trying and in the end I fluked it.
Good job Mickey thank you.

I worked on this puzzle for a couple of days and when I finally cracked the code, I realised that I was "that close" to the solution on the very first try I had at it!! Oh well, I got there in the end. I managed to find the cache, sign the log and get back to the footpath before anyone turned up.
Thanks for another great cache and puzzle Mickeydv

A great challenging cache! I managed to work out most of the puzzle myself but was missing one small but vital detail. In the end I sort outside help and everything fell into place. I probably took the hard way of approaching the cache but found it ok after a bit of a scramble, TFTH.
(chwiliwr team catch up log)
Chwiliwr had worked out the answer to this some time ago but we couldn't go and do it at the time so forgot about it.
Was working on another puzzle and found the answer to this one on the paper I was using so today we decided to go find it.
Had to wait for a while for some very old muggles to vacate the area above the cache and the cache was found soon after.
Thanks for the cache.

This was a difficult puzzle - worked out most of the relevant information unaided but just couldn't quite get something right - so with some guidance from the cache owner found what I was missing and then it all fell into place.

Ahh, very happy to tick this one off the list! Worked out what I needed to do pretty quickly, but finding the right tools and applying the clues was another matter entirely. With some help from the owner I finally managed to get there, and dropped by after work today for a relatively painless find in a lovely location. Had to try a couple of approaches to the cache, but found the right one eventually.

when i saw this listed, i had a brief initial look at the puzzle and said to myself "that’s way to hard" but I don’t like puzzles like this they really get under my skin. And as it continued to bug me I had to start trying to figure out this cache. 3 Days later, many hours of head scratching, much cursing directed nicely towards the creator of this cache shr00mbiat said the magic words that lit the light bulb over my head and a cry of eureka could be heard echoing throughout the office at work.
Searched for the tools required, found the tools then puzzled how to solve the puzzle and at 10.30 this morning I had the answer to where this cache was hidden. This has been one of the most frustrating, head scratching, and just sheer frustrating puzzle caches I have ever done and it is certainly worthy of the 5 star difficulty rating but the sweet success of logging this cache has made it oh so worthwhile.
Thanks for such an interesting Puzzle and a lovely location for where the cache resides Mickeydv.

Yay joint 2TF. Shael showed me this one at work. I'm no good at puzzles so I was like yeah right good luck. But somehow I had a random idea and I was right!
We had fun trying to figure it out, and it gave us something to do at work, slow days haha. Once we had the coords it was a pretty easy find. Thanks Mickey.

FTF at 2:50pm. I got notification email while out walking the dog this morning and had worked out what to do by the time I got home. Finding the right tools took a little while but I had the puzzle solved by lunchtime - and the coords looked promising on google earth. Had a couple of things to do around the house but finally got away a couple of hours later and headed out to find this one. Fully expected a couple of chocolate fuelled brains to have beaten me to it but I found an empty log book - Yahoo.
