I am going to visit a lot of different countries on my travel tour around the world! At the moment I am staying in New Zealand. Of course I also try to find some geocaches on my tour. So I have visited this Cache as well. It was a beautiful place which I reached by a nice walk!
Thank you for hiding and best regards from somewhere in the world!!!

Bit of bushbashing to get to this one but what a view!!! The sun is shining on the sea, just great. TFTC
Great views of the coast looking towards town.Cheers for bringing me here. Im glad the gorse isnt to overgrown.
This was a very fun find, nicely done. Shame it may need relocated in a couple of years.
Time to put a few smiles around oamaru. Definitely not seeing the best side of town at the mo tftc
Back on the A2O Cycle Trail cyclocaching my way into Oamaru. Now in Oamaru and caching my way north to my accommodation. Back in September 2012 I filed a DNF on this cache and so I was keen to remove it from my unfound list. I followed the prickly trail to GZ. Take it from me that lycra does not offer protection against gorse.[xx(] TFTC.
As a change from the previous five days this morning I awoke to a day that wasn't precipitating. So it was time to sign off a few caches around the A&P Showgrounds. Whoa! Don't get to close to the edge it might just break away.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Sea has encroached almost to the old road barrier, I couldn't find the GC I suspect it has been long gone out to sea.!
Freezing walk to GZ, but for some reason the moment we got to GZ the wind changed to baking hot... had a short look but where quickly put off putting our hands any where by the plentiful supply of condoms and toilet paper around GZ - hope that is not the CO got up to when he was a lad,...
Cache # 2,212 - an interesting walk with Astro Hunter this morning. Old road clearly visible. Lots of rubbish around as well, but cache safely tucked away. No trackable inside. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Found with The Wandering Dragons. A bit prickly getting in, but trail clearly visible. Thank you.

Loved the old road. Found the other contents of the location funny. So beware of people that leave their numbers for favours. Looks like it can be a party area at times now.
This seems to be a popular area for more than just caches love the old road tftc
Found with Chosen1978. won the battle of the gorse and cache soon signed and returned to its hidey hole.
After a brief battle with gorse made it to the other side to be rewarded with stunning views along the coast in both directions, but back to matters at hand the GC... quickly located and logged the find with Granville86a and then admired the views before returning to the battle. Picked up TB to moved on south TFTC
Quick Find, not a soul in sight to see what 1eyednbf (one eyed and proud of it) was up to, nice hide,TFTC
Almost missed it but a more careful look came up trumps. TFTC. Glad to see no gorse at GZ

Found after a short search. A good area to visit. Cache is a 200ml Sistema not 880ml size. SL TFTC
A bit of searching saw the logged signed by a good number in the geocaching group.
I had good strong gps signals and cacher(?) 'elephant' tracks seemed to confirm that I was at the correct spot but I couldn't find the cache. I'll put this one 'on watch'.
Shame about the reseading forshore,, wouldnt like to try and take a vehical down there now.. TFTC, Cheers Bo
On a caching trip with ingidayna to Oamaru and surrounds to get 1000 finds. TFTC
Lovely views from cache site this evening. Looks like others still come here to play going by the couple we passed on the way. Looked up previous logs on the way down the road - oh no last log was a DNF - oh double no it was beltfamily. Nearly turned round at that point but glad I didn't as it was a nice quick find. TFTC #3202
5969 A nice little hide, after making our way through the long and somewhat damp grass to GZ. At least muggles were no problem in the early morning, and the beach looked very inviting! TFTC
When hiding the 200ml container we have found a second container (880ml or so) at the same spot. So, the old one is still in place, just mills from the new container under old cabbage tree leaves. We signed both log books, just in case.
In the rain I was staying dry until this cache, waist lengh grass had me soaked. How long before the sea claims the cache?
Had to battle the stench (that could only be described as a combination of rotting fish and shit) more than the gorse, so didn't stop around long enough to enjoy the view.

Managed to back into the same gorse bush twice while searching for this one. Iron_Butterfly and karenhippo got a good laugh out of it. Nice views here; remarkable how much erosion there's been. TFTC.
What a beautiful spot. Would be lovely to sit here and read a book or something in summer. It's amazing to see the erosion, makes you wonder what will happen in the future and whether all the businesses along the coast will still be there in many years!

Not much of the old road left these days, the sea won't stop any time soon in its' hunger for land. TNLN Thanks
I thoughht this was going to be a DNF but the owner found a replacement cache during our visit to the coast. Marvelled at the erosion along here. TFTC
Visita relampago con muy poco tiempo para buscar mas. Asi tengo escusa para volver, el lugar lo merece y si es posible a escalar.
Catching up with some logs. Nice drive by the coast and another good Bitsprayer cache. TFTC.
A bit of a prick to get to hehe but otherwise an easy find! Can't remember how many bonfires we had down here when I was a teen - good times tftc
Found by 6YO cousin. Another great spot we wouldn't have been to if it weren't for caching. TFTC
#43 or so of what we think was 50 for the day for the johnnygoescaching crew. Lotsa logs to do.....
