Found by Mr C. Aquick find on a quiet Sunday afternoon drive to New Brighton. TNLN, TFTC.
#2251 Where do you get those little containers? They are great. Last time I was in this area there was a guy and his baby on the bridge feeding the ducks so I walked on. This time it was empty and a quick grab and log. TFTC DS8300
Nice find by the biggest little mermaid. We also had an extra on a playdate with us. Highly excited. TFTC
Nice spot. Somebody's placed a rock that gives away the hide site. Second of two Anzac Bridge caches claimed today. TFTC
This was our first ever find. It took two visits since dusk wasn't the best time to begin our search. Lovely area.

Caval and I did another walk in Christchurch. After waiting for a few muggels to pass we grabbed the cache and did the log.
TFTC and greetings from Switzerland.

We enjoyed the little park and the swans and geese.
Thank you for the cache and greetings from Switzerland.

Initially a frustrating walk around this lovely area but after a bit of back tracking (and praying) the find was made
Thanks

Cunning hide. Had to come back to our first search place before cache was reveiled. TFTC
We found this cache after a very enjoyable walk - at first, we were on the wrong side of the river. It is beautiful here, and it was such a nice day for geocaching. We signed the log and replaced the cache as we found it. Thanks for bringing us to this new reserve.
On first visit I couldn't locate despite having a pretty good idea where it was likely to be.....maybe the tides had taken it ? Resigned myself to revisit it soon...and with that I found it the next day- easier when the muggles are thiner on the ground !

You were right - it is still there but very wet log so haven't signed it. Old muggler on daily walk decided to sit near by but tree stopped view of what I was doing. Thanks for advising last night that it was still around. Great meeting you and all the others.
After being informed that the Log Book was wet,we have put a new one in.Very high tides have caused some problems.BUT if you put it back as you find,it should be ok.
Couldn't sign log as it was saturated. Needs to be replaced or dried out properly - sorry didn't have spares with me. Container as dry as I could get it for time I had there before picking up mother from her Monday group.
Quick find on a quiet Sunday morning, well until the geese started honking. I bet the neighbors curse them! TFTC
Good hide. TFTC. Abit out in the open where muggles could possibly see from their houses.
We love bridges - hate box in the bush . Little G was onto this in a flash This gets a big thumbs up in our book well hidden in great spot we have never been here Many thanks Little G Magic

Couldn't find it until I asked my american friend Ben Z. Knees and there it was after all TFTC
PB hovered in the cachemobile - in the bus stop - while Annie ran over the first bridge. As it turned out, there was a quicker way to get to GZ that she found on the way back to the van for a writing implement. The cache was missed on the first swoop over the area, but then Annie thought 'It must be THERE,' reached a bit further and so it was. TNLN TFTC
Something tells me I should have found this one, I must have been blind. Found View of the Fronds and several other similar caches, and almost went back to this one, then thought that I would have surely seen it - it must have been lost in the quake - but apparently not. I'll be back!
Found easily after finding View of the Fronds. Well done again Womble-BBT! It was interesting to see where the sand has come out of the ground in the little arm of the reserve nearby. This is the first time I've ventured out on foot since the earthquake.
Rowers went past when signing the log

A quick easy find, although we couldn't see much of the area in the dark tonight. TFTC
quick wander to find twin bridges, day starting to improve weather wise.

This area has been developed nicely. Another reason that cacheing is fun. A quick find. Thanks. Hatas
Tried twice - searched at high tide and low tide.
New to this hobby and this one seems difficult. I suspect the cache is very small.

No pen to record this one. Here the other night on a run. Much easier to find in the light.
Found on a nice few days in Christchurch finding some good fun caches. Nice area and hide. SL TFTC
Quick find on the way to the cinema. Nice to have a look around after all the industry in this area recently.

Just starting to rain as I went for a short walk and found this cache. No-one around (apartfrom a couple on the other side of the river - that wasn't the Wombles, was it?. TFTC.
Found with Team McWindeLunex7 on a brilliant trip to the South Island - another one I missed logging earlier. So many caches! Thanks womble bbt.
Nabbed in the company of SolDeLune McPhan Winglen and RexTrex.
Sol made the grab while I watched on and took some snaps of Joggers and an energetic dog after a ball.
Nice location, thanks for the cache!

Logging retrospectively because I missed this one in the whirl of logging a big bunch of caches found with Team McWindeLuneX7. Thanks womble-bbt.
A very neat and tidy hide.
Enjoyed the location and the with the cache in hand quickly we were soon on our way again.
Cheers, and thanks for the cache.

3277. Have watched this walkway develop so it was a good reason to stop today and find the cache.

Put this note in as the area has been hit badly by the recent storm conditions and it is obvious that the river has overflowed its banks. I'm sure I was at the correct location but could only see rubbish and debris around the area. Even up to the bridges timbers.
May need to check this one out as I would really like to get it as a smiley face.

Thank you for the note.We have checked the Cache Site and all is well.It is still there nice and dry so no problem.Happy Hunting.
Was sitting out in the open, probably floated out in the flooding.
We put it back where we thought it should be.

A hat trick of Womble caches today ! Time to clear out some of the caches in this part of town. 3/4 #1396
Luckily there was nobody about as I approached GZ - and I think the whitebait were all looking the other way at the time. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1806)
StreetWalker was onto this in a flash - was it inspiration from another cache hide, or maybe something that the owner let slip at the flash mob event?
The hardest part was finding a park and crossing the very busy road.

#1385 (7/8 in Eastern Chch). Visited post flash mob event. We managed to scare lots of ducks being fed by a muggle family at the first bridge. Cache itself was a nice hide, and quickly found. TFTC.
Like the owner, I've been eyeing this spot a lot as I often travel to and from work down here. I've been waiting for a cache to be planted Cheers Gav [5832]
Took the long walk in along the river,it will be nice once all the plants are grown.TFTC
Interesting find while doing a bit of night caching - no muggles about in the dark, hopefully, SL TFTC
(60) When getting close to this cache, I was thinking there is no way we will get this with so many driving muggles and sporting muggles about.. Had one close call with a guy on a bike. However lucky the kids were looking and not me, so went totally under the radar.. Good cache and SL.
What a nice little area this is now. Lots of muggles about today but managed to retrieve ok. Had a nice chat to two elderly women who told us a bit about the area. TFTC.
This will be a lovely area when the plantings grow. Great info about whitebait too. Lucky for them I don't like the little things....Nice cache and a good hide.
Out on another cyclocache ride on a very nice afternoon. Seems to be turning into an afternoon of womble-bbt caches. This is the 3rd successive womble-bbt cache that I have found in less than 30 minutes. Nice to see that the earthworks have been finished in this area - they had just started when I last rode past this area. Odd though that there has been a seat placed right in the middle of the pathway! Watched a young local boy, with his family, testing out their new kayak. Thanks for the cache.
Third find of the morning, with Teddy 3 after our swim at QE2. Eagerly found by Teddy3 after dad spotted the camouflage. No pen, so took photographic evidence. Thank you.
Dropped by to find this cache after hunting down a FTF at QE11. Thought for a moment I would have to get my knees wet but thankfully found the cache before that was neccessary. TFTC
A lovely walk by the Avon on a cool fine evening. We also watched for a cache to be placed here.
It must have taken a bit of effort to set up. TFTC

Easy find. Container looks very familiar. Next cachers need to watch their footing at GZ so as not to disturb the new grass that has been laid.
Pretty boggy in places, and as previously noted, there is new grass. Cachers should note that this does not need to be disturbed. A great spot and a well thought out little cache. Thank you.
I have been watching this area being developed over the last few months and thought that it would be rude not to place a cache here when it was finished as its such a lovely wee area. But I dont have to worry about that idea anymore as its been done for me lol. So a big thank you to Womble-bbt for placing a cache here, well done. And a nice easy FTF for me .. Many thanks. Cheers Bo
