Found with KylieSmiley77 We often drive by here, today we had the time to grab a cacheSL TFTC
Random spontaneous caching today with Jamesta18We both needed to get out the house to get some fresh country air today We drive past here every weekend, but there is always muggles around resting lol Today we finally made a rest stop and found the cache TFTC
#24807. We'd found a lot of grape geoart caches today, so were glad to take a quick rest and get a P+G. TFTC.
This morning StreetWalkerNZ and I completed the Anna Tommy series, then after a quick visit to Gawler for coffee and a few caches, there was time to start the Barossa grape geoart. We stopped for lunch in Lyndoch, then refreshed we headed off for another bite of the Barossa grapes geoart. A quick park and grab as we head back to Nuri. TFTC.
Find # 14614Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 2. Murray Bridge to Swan Reach, via Nuriootpa to visit Geostuff.Managed to get my hit list, of 2 done today... a few others thrown in. A couple of short sharp trails and the fireman's hat.... then focused on the high Terrain "On your bike" caches west of Swan Reach...After grabbing a few of the Barossa caches I stopped of in this park for a coffee n bite to eat.... then checked the GPS. Oh wow. There's one here only 15m from me.... Nice quick grab.TFTC DJC3575
This a new account but I found this cache with my mum (EmsDan1315) and my brother (maggies123) on 9-6-2024. TFTC.
Might need a new tin/box. Got no lid and the weather is taking its toll. Otherwise great!
Caching with team SPBINZ, Sidewaze, Paddle chick, bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie. I really enjoying touring the countryside, taking in the scenery, tasting the odd grape and of course finding lots of caches. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand.
Today we have been out on a bit of a random caching mission seeing a few more of the sights and a lot more of the region. We have also just completed the grape geoart and are heading back to our accomodation for the night but stopped off here to sign this off on the way. Found as part of the SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie). TFTC DJC3575 and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 22,018**Otepoti/Dunedin is the place to be 26-27 October, 2024 for GCA7ZHD - Geo Toroa Mega! Having completed the Barossa geoart we are now making our way back towards our accommodation and starting to think about dinner and nice drop of South Australian red wine to celebrate what has been a successful caching trip. Tomorrow, Sidewaze, IsisNZ and Nanzie fly home to NZ. This is our last log to be signed as SPBINZ (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie) for this trip. TFTC DJC3575#16466

I was in the state for the Leap Year Mega in Adelaide and a group of us from Queensland, ACT, New South Wales, NT, Victoria and Tasmania decided to travel to the Barossa to do te Geoarts plus any other caches that we came across. This was one of those. to save space in the logs we signed as QANVT being the acronym of the states and territories represented. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Im visiting SA for the first time since 2018, here for the Great Leap Forward mega (my first) in Adelaide. Today I was part of the QANVT group finding and signing caches in the Barossa Valley and Gawler area. It was a fantastic day. Tftc
Following the completion of the Barossa grapes geoart, we detoured towards Tanunda for a bite to eat, and stopped at this cache along the way, Admittedly, I was expecting something a little larger, and if I had my suspicions, it looks to have been replaced by a passer-byer. Nevertheless, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks DJC3575 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------A trip visiting Adelaide from Brisbane for the [The Great Leap Forward](http://coord.info/GCA1DNA) Mega event!I arrived Wednesday 28/02/2024 evening ready for Leap Day on Thursday, and stayed with family across the weekend, before returning on Monday 4/03/2024 morning. Previous Adelaide trips are spent with family and friends, but targeted geocaching was this trip's objective, and I attempted to target unique cache types (virtuals, EarthCaches, Wherigos and letterbox hybrids), attractive D-T combinations, high Favourite Point caches, and the occasional pre-2003 oldie, acknowledging that I had found many cherished oldies whilst residing in Adelaide. In addition to Mega central in Beverley/Hindmarsh, my trip included visits as north as Clare, to Aldinga and Sellicks Beach to the south, and the Adelaide Hills (Hahndorf, Uraidla) to the west. In true South Australian style, I ticked off the three closest wine areas to Adelaide (Barossa, Clare Valley, and McLaren Vale). Additional highlights included Barossa vineyard meanderings, boating to Adventure Island in Outer Harbor, drain exploration via [The Shadowlands](https://coord.info/GC18AZY), beach walks of Port Willunga and Sellicks Beach, enjoying a beer at Willunga, and experiencing the Fringe Festival in Adelaide's east end.Today, the plan was the completion of the Barossa grapes geoart, and then return back from north-east of Adelaide via targeted D-T caches within the vicinity. After attending the morning's [Meet and Greet Walkerville Memorial Gardens](https://coord.info/GCAJ4H9) event, we proceeded north to join others, and completed the Barossa grapes geoart, before having an early lunch at Tanunda. [E_Smiley](https://coord.info/PREYGEN) and I then took the scenic (geocache) way back to Adelaide via Gawler, One Tree Hill, Golden Grove, Athelstone, and traversing the Black Hill gorges of Gorge Road Montacute Road. Highlights included the 1837 Barossa vineyard, many repurposed (Used 2B) churches, upper Torrens River scenic walks, and enjoying wild blackberries spotted by [E_Smiley](https://coord.info/PREYGEN).Following a pizza dinner refuel and returning [E_Smiley](https://coord.info/PREYGEN) to her vehicle, I called past a couple of Adelaide's south park lands geocaches utilising various TOTTs, before returning back to the family base well into the night.

On a road trip with geo friends from QLD for The Great Leap Year Forward Mega 2024.It was a fun, action-packed day, with many cachers teaming up to gather geo art and various other caches along the trails. Our logs were signed as team QANVT to spare room on the log sheets and to speed up the process among the car pools.A special thank you to all cache owners for placing such good caches and the ongoing maintenance on them. I remember staying in the nearby caravan park with the kids a few years ago. Such a good place with lots of nice drives nearby. This time it's all about caching. This one took a while to find with naughtybunny but we eventually found the cache. Unfortunately the log book was soaked and we couldn't write in it. Took photos as proof. TNLN. Cheers.
Container half full of water and log is saturated, a product of the unusually wet Spring. Managed to sign(just) but log will need replacing. Thanks for the cache
Much easier find this time compared to my last visit! Lovely place to stop. Logbook needs replacing. TFTC
