Found this one while camping in dwellingup. Was a long walk for mr 5 after walking a long way to find two others before this and he got tired so went back and drove the car to it instead.
Nice drive to appr 100m from GZ. A little walk and a bit of exercising required to get to GZ but cache was easily found and in good condition. TFTC team wecandoit.
Beautiful day to get out and about we came and found your cache on our way to a camp spot and some mountain biking tftc

Lots of activity with small planes flying around today. Left this cache to last when things were quiet. Bit wary of slithering things with all the fallen trees as we approached GZ. Quick find with IQO.
Nice tribute cache. TFTC Team Wecandoit.

After watching the fire spotter planes all afternoon Gypsy Roaming and I came out to try and locate this cache.
Was an interesting search and we were happy to locate it and sign the log.
Well done to the fire fighters who do their best to keep us safe up here. [^]

We were staying at nearby Banksia Springs and enjoyed the walk to discover this cache! TFTC!
TFTC. Found with DiLorraine.
By the way, the log book is fine - its the nano by the visitor centre that needs a new one.

Sorry I have yet to get to this cache to replace the log, we no longer live in town but still visit often. I intend on doing it soon. I hope you all still enjoy it and log through the web site 8D
We came to Dwellingup for a ride on the steam ranger and picked up a few caches while here. Dropped off geo coin. TFTH
Off course there is an easy and a hard way to get this cache and I choose the hard way. Otherwise a nice easy find tfth
Camped at Marrinup for the long weekend.
Headed out this morning with a 3 car convoy to attempt Captain Fawcetts track. We had no dramas with the track except finding the start! [B)]
Once all completed most of our happy campers had left and Mr Felix headed out to tackle this one alone. Having been watching it on the map for 3 days. An enjoyable drive and certainly a spot that we would never have known was here.

Checking out some real estate in Dwellingup, we made a slight diversion to this cache that for some reason or another have not got to on previous visits to the area... Temperatures were in the mid 40's, so it probably wasn't the best idea to head for this one through all the fallen trees It seemed so close on the GPSr so off we went... Once at GZ, it was a quick find!
TFTC team wecandoit Thankfully all was quiet here today & there was no need for any waterbombers today [^]

Out on a girlie 4WD caching adventure with OOH YEH.
Made a quick find here with the help of a good hint and good co-ords.
Took the long way round rather than tackle all those fallen trees.
Thankfully we saw no water bomber planes or helicopters.
Made sure we took a marble, thank you.

Headed up this way today with skippy 46 today. She decided she would tale the 4 wheel drive this time to get some of the off road caches. We didnt do too bad, we had 18 finds, 1 DNF and one we spent about an hour trying to work out how to get there and we gave up in the end. The weather was great to start with but half way through the day we had a bit of a thunder storm. Most caches were found quickly with a couple that took a bit of searching. We found the cache quickly but it took a lot longer to get there with all the fallen trees. TFTC wecandoit and thanks for my marble
TFTC took a marble

Bit of an obstacle course to get it but I made it after a small trip up. I took marble. TFTC
Reasonably quick find after climbing over all the cleared trees which geoson really enjoyed. Tftc.
Awesome hide, little hard with all the trees having been cut down all around, hope they dont bulldoze the cache down when they clean up the trees.
found this after an awesome lunch in town at the Blue wren with Petensoaf

A nice muggle free find today. There are at least two completely empty pages on the reverse side of other logs and plenty of space on some of the used pages...we use a stamp to log our finds and had no problems finding space.
As the parents of very busy volunteer firefighters in SA we know first hand how much these Water Bomber pilots are appreciated. Very nice to have a cache in recognition of their hard work and expertise.
Thanks for the hide team wecandoit [^]

This is what I like about caching - going somewhere you otherwise would have never seen. Cool place for a cache although not a soul or aircraft around. Geokid1 was on fire and spotted this one. The log is full but we managed to squeeze on the reverse of a page in the middle of the book. TFTC
TFC. 2nd for the afternoon. Very tricky terrain with the felled trees and branches, but fun.
After being eaten alive by March flies ... And a lot searching finally found it .. Well hidden
TFTC good hide lots of trees been cut down around it so good climb to get to GZ
Great cache - DEC and volunteer firefighters deserve the gratitude of the entire WA community for their selfless dedication and fire management/protection/fighting skills - and yet they are often unfairly maligned. Thanks for the cache team wecandoit.

On the road again with Ballidu Lad who isn't as sprightly as he used to be. I had a few unfound caches up around Dwellingup, so made a start on them today. Was a few lolly wrappers around GZ, so I picked them up, not wanting us geocachers to get a bad name. Took keyring, left golfball. TFTC
found with geo kids, 3rd and last for the day! easy find, kid friendly!
discovered TB Sven, will move him on soon! TFTC

Second find for the day. Introducing a friend to caching so a nice wander in the bush and an easy find for his first. TFTC
I found this one at 1.45pm. fourth for the day. Took a while as my GPS would not settle so I searched every possible spot for about half an hour until ...BINGO! Thanks team wecandoit. TNLN
My Non-Geo friends were not with me on this find but they decided to walk out there from Dwellingup early the next morning for their keep fit exercise and much to my chagrin made an easy first up find all on their own!!!

A quick find but with March flies biting had one of us racing back to the car. SL TNLN TFTC
Found while camping with friends. T: car and a couple of marbles for the kids, L: travel bug and monkey
Came down to Dwellingup this afternoon after work, staying overnight in preparation for the "Dwellingup 100", 100km mountain bike race tomorrow.
Made a quick and easy find of this one in between showers, and picked up the TB, which appears to have been logged in another nearby cache.
Thanks for the cache team wecandoit!

7th cache for today as I started back towards the city. Soon found the cache and the GCA moveable cache that was here as well.
Thanks team wecandoit for the cache.
Thanks team wecandoit for the cache.
our 2nd ever cache found by 7yo daughter. left pink ball took bulldog clip and marble. great fun had by all. thanks wecandoit
Today the wileyclan added geo niece (7) and geo nephew (5) and took them out 'treasure hunting'.
After driving up to Dwellingup from Pinjarra, we decided to take Del Park Road home and this cache was on the way. Well sort of. Enough for me anyway! We drove to the general area and geo wife took the GPSr in hand to lead us towards where ground zero appeared to be. After a few false starts the kids were soon searching in earnest and geo niece came up trumps. It looks as if we were the second finders today
The kids did some swapping around of stuff and we were on our way home
Thanks for the cacne team wecandoit
Cheers

took awhile to get to the location as we did not put in driving directions but once there found it easy enough TFTC
Late afternoon grab and all was quiet. Had heard a few planes going in and out during the day so left it until later. Easy find in the end. TFTC
Early morning cache. Dwellingup is awake bright and early with all the miners about town at the moment. Tftc
Our last for the day. Also an easy find. We did'nt even know the airstrip existed. Very long also.

We found it!!! it was our secondf find but we were more excited about this one.
We rode our bikes about 3km then walked around and around in circles until we finally found the tall tombstone stump.

On a rather hot day in Dwellingup we felt very "watched" as we headed over to find the cache. At the nearby hanger the DEC plane was sitting outside and its crew were sitting outside drinking coffee (or something) - being more mature geocachers and sporting our camera with a rather large lens they probably decided we were into photographing runways rather than starting bushfires and didnt report us.
thanks
thanks
Another easy find in Dwellingup. We took a marble - thanks and signed the log. No planes spotted today. TFTH
Nice hide but I had to resort to clue as my GPSr was 17m out!! not sure why as it's always so accurate and it was a clear day. Anyhow I still found, took a marble but sorry didn't leave anything. TFTF
We were really interested in this location because our daughter is a DEC fire officer. Thanx guys for all tour good work.
Fifth cache for the day. Easy to find with nikitak. Thanks for the cache - I didn't realise this is where the water bombers were based!
