Deer O Deer or Turnip O Turnip, maybe Rape O Rape Looks like the deers have had their day.TFTC Team Carnage. The cache lid is broken but placed upside down and with the log in a bag all is well for now.
Found at 12:47 PM GAFF1.Was able to stop and pull over with our big rig in a safe spot and then go back to search for this cache and looked around for any deers, thinking that maybe there was going to be a dead one due to road kill! Thanks to Team Carnage
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 48 - Katanning to Bunbury via Kojonup, Boyup Brook, Donnybrook and Bonyanup. Yet another day that was too long and I should have split in two, but due to bookings could not. It only rained while I was trying to cache in Donnybrook. There were a few roadside caches there were a few short walks and way too many machinery caches, but I did find some of them. The day got away from me and I did not do everything on my over ambitions list. I made it to Bunbury and got set up just before dark. I did not get out for the evening, so had a nice night cooking dinner and planning my next few days while I am in Bunbury for a week.I did not see any stock over the big fence today, so just quickly found the cache and signed my name before moving on.Thanks for the cache Team Carnage47675.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & OZ Mega 2024 A#544**Albida**
Not a deer to be seen! Only bottles and cans from a drinking stop near by! On my way home to Esperance. Easy find. An easy find is appreciated when you want to look for caches but really should keep moving to make it home before dark.Tftc
Today the geocaching mission for TaurusSix and I was to try and obtain the FTF that we noticed came out in Katanning yesterday. We kept an eye on the post last evening and when we still noted it had not been found first thing this morning we decided to undertake the just over two hour drive to get to gz. The drive itself was very pleasant just after sunrise. Not that there was much of a sunrise because it is quite an overcast and showery day. Pleasantly cool too which is nice for geocaching. Once in Katanning and achieving the first to find we set about to find many of the other caches in the Katanning area.
This is our nineteenth geocache for the day. We are enjoying driving through these back roads we have not been on this road between Kojonup and Boyup Brook before and we always enjoy exploring new areas. The bush smells very fresh with the recent rains. Almost a drive by cache, quickly located, logged and replaced. We didn’t see another vehicle the whole time we were pulled over. TFTC

Touring the Great Southern using Geocachiing as our guide.
We headed out today from Kojonup and did a massive loop of some 420km. We saw some great historic locations, old schools, old halls, so much information shared with us today through Geocaching. We often say WA doesnt have the history of other States but boy you did us proud today.

Deer O Deer, there were no deer, but there were lots of sheep watching me as I found this cache. Dropped in a trackable here to continue its journey before continuing on with my trek down to Albany. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Team Carnage
found this for the second time so I found anyway cache in good condition
TFTH headed down to Albany for a quick weekend trip. Needed to do some maintenance on some down that way and made the most of it by finding a few along the way.
On the trip home the main aim of the game was to find the My Home series of caches. All these were found in good condition and made for some fun caching through the. Country side. A. Good range of camo containers and sizes.
Ended up with 20 finds and 9 caches checked on. Just short of 1000km on the Geocar with the weather perfect on both days.
Thanks for bringing me back down this way and as usual I'm sure it won't be long until I return again.

TFTC Team Carnage Unfortunately it was here that I realised I had misplaced my GPS & we come to the realisation that it was 100km away from where we were Thankfully it was found by another cacher woo hoo!!!

Our last cache for the day on a sunday geocaching trip from kojonup through moodiarrup, duranillin, darkan, collie and boyup back to koji. Getting late now so thanks for a nice quick one to break up the drive along this road. Tftc!
Decided to get muggle to take me on a overnight georoad trip from Bunbury to Wagin via Boyup Brook, Kojonup and Woodanilling and a few little caching destinations along the way
Was a bit hesitant walking into bushy area on a warm day even with boots on. Thankfully nothing seen besides a cache and some wildflowers showing the last of their faces.
I was expecting a live sapling not a dead one tho suppose it proabably was alive when the cache was placed

First cache for the day, we saw the deer farm but alas, no deer for us either. Thanks Team Carnage.
On our way home from Albany avoiding the boring highways. This was a nice drive. We did not see any deer at all, nor a deer farm but plenty of nosy black cows. Easy find, TFTC Team Carnage.
Easy find while looking at the flowers. TFTC. Tor and Betsy, the travelling Westies roaming WA at present. We are from Oxenford near the Gold Coast in Queensland and thoroughly enjoying the West.
Wasn't keen parking on the hill so it was a bit of a walk back to collect this. Well hidden but no deer today. Thanks Team Carnage.

No dear today but they were in the next paddock. Quick find Thx Team Carnage for the pit stop.
Well done. Found it in the dark at 9:45pm with fading batteries in torch !! By this time the deer had gone 'sleepies' or gone to find Bambie !! Took the 'lion' and left some playing cards !!
A nice quick stop for this one on a quiet road - no deer, but the crop is looking very healthy. The flies were grumpy at being disturbed but it was too hot for them to do more than buzz, before dropping back to the ground .
TFTC.
