I had bad feelings about it when I saw that it was meant to be right next to the fenceline, then when I found that it was impossible to search for it quietly due to all the dry leaves I became more apprehensive. A car was in the driveway, so obviously someone was home, and then I saw an old lady look out the window at me, forcing me to give up my search. I'm afraid I have to conclude that this is a bad location for a cache, particularly when there's a great long metal barrier on the other side of the road that a magnetic container could have been stuck onto.
In caching from Canada. Didn't look at the pics before heading out. The posted coordinates took us to the other side of the road, so did not find it.
Even the photograph did not help me. The area is well and truly cultivated. I'll assume cache blindness on my part - otherwise the cache has taken oof.
Sure glad that photo was posted as the co-ordinates aren't much help. Even so, I took a long time to find it. Amazing how you can't see the forest for the trees, sometimes. TN/LN/SL
Finally found it after some help from a previous finder.
I don't know why I spent so much effort to get this one. I must be addicted!!
I'm glad it is now off my list.

Out this afternoon with Mrs Ant and geobub. Had a bit of a look for this one, but was interupted when the lady in the house next to GZ spyed us. Had another look at the posted picture when we got home and realised we were looking under the wrong tree anyway!!
We will return.
posted co ords had us about 15m away on the other side of the road.

Do not look at the posted images as we did, does make it a dead give away . Funny little area on resumed land next to the freeway. Bit of fun anyway !

We returned today without the GPS but with the photo hint firmly etched.
No-one around and after a quick look around the smaller tree we found it.

Yaeh whoa!!!!!! found myself......... Yeah!!!!! but wrong GZ.... about 10 mts furthur on other place...........
Spent some time walking up and down, scratching around smaller trees then any tree, but couldn't find anything that looked like a cache.
Just as I arrived at GZ a mowermuggle appeared and parked right there, so I went away to do other things. Upon my return the mower was gone (his truck still there) so I had a bit of a look around. I felt most uncomfortable searching close to open windows, and I abandoned the search when my phone rang. If this is where the GPS says it is, it's awfully close to the property line....
Spent about 20 minutes looking beside all the trees (smaller that which?)
I think it is about time the cache owner did a maintenance check. For a D/T 1/1 this should be a lot easier than it appears to be.

No joy for me this morning. Bright and early, I arrived at 0615 and had the place to myself. I scouted around for a good 15 minutes to no avail. Read the clue and previous logs and went again... Looked at all the potential GZ's that matched the hint but, no container was found...
I'll keep an eye on this one and leave it alone til another successful find is logged... Can't be too many options here... Maybe it's a sneaky container and I just kept brushing it aside... [?]

This little ride by on my bike this morning was interupted by the neighbour steadfastly staring at me while I sat on the pushbike at GZ.
Surely he's going to disappear inside soon !!
Nup !!
My phake phone call could only last so long, but the muggle lasted longer [:(!]
I did get a good look at all the hiding spots though and left with the feeling that the coords may be correct.
I just didn't dare risk scratching around with the constant attention I was getting [:o]
I will have to return on my next bike ride to find out though
A short way up the street, I think I found the reason why the muggle was so attentive to my presence.
The local druggies were hanging out on the bike track and abusing anyone who dared to try to get past them
They were way too stoned to do anything but yell abuse and fall over though
Ouch!! That must have hurt !!
Nice area

We gave up at 16:41. We had a good look around GZ and then, having read the only successful log, we looked fairly widely around at places which fitted the hint but no luck.
Not a tree on site was anywhere near firmly rooted when I arrived. Obviously scrub turkeys have been working overtime at this bush setting [^]
With nowhere left to look I had no option other than to do the reverse gardening and return the trees back to their former condition. Unfortunately there was nothing to be found in doing so Defeated by another Darkside cache [:(!]
Now I see the picture - I have to agree about the meaning of the picture maybe a coordinates check[?]

We got it. Stopped by today and found it within a few moments of looking. Everyone was searching in the wrong spot. In hindsight it was much easier than we had made it.
We also looked with no success today. Lots of bark around the trees has been moved. So hard to tell which little tree you mean.
We did return today but the obvious thing we hadn't checked was the survey marker and it wasn't the cache.
Given the place had been given a good work over we decided to let it go till some other day.
Almost gotta think that the cache is on the other side of the road for the hint to be meaningful.

This one beat us twice today.
First time we missed the turn-off so just kept driving. Later in the day we returned but searched in vain.
We think we know why - we ignored the obvious.
Till tomorrow.
