A quick find with icw on a pleasant overcast day. The small pond was a mess and I suspect the introduced plague of deer was responsible. We noticed several signs around the parkland warning about night closures to allow hunters to shoot this pest. Tftc.
Found with Willywombat27 on our caching afternoon in this beautiful area of Melbourne
Thankfully it wasnt wet but sunny! We had NO idea wed end up here when we left home. Found this with aussiejan. My partner in crime. Or am I HERS? She started me on this quest so I guess the latter! TFTC
#116 27/04/2024 @9:42amFirst find on what hopes to be a big day of caches for me TFTC
Visiting after work to explore the park and walk the trails. So far, no muggles around. Only roos
Signed TRC. Found during my hike around the gorge before this afternoons rain arrives
My friend zoe and i found it!!! we had to bushwack to get to it, but so rewarding when we did find it!
After a bit of a walk around the parklands I located this cache full of goodies for the kids. Great location and a fun place to enjoy a bushwalking’s. TFTC
Today's expedition involved a big loop around the Plenty Gorge area, picking up a total of 14 caches on an 8.5km walk (the extra 0.5km matters!). This was the tenth find for the day, and it was a lovely peaceful spot with the lowering afternoon autumn sun casting lovely light over the green. It was a nice big, well-stocked cache too (although I suspect that the outer ziplock will not last all that long). Thanks for the cache, wrangler140 and team mullaney.
Morning stroll exploring Plenty Gorge. A pleasant suprise. Trails everywhere I had a great time exploring and caching.
Come in from lower path only a few cob webs to contend with love the oldies that have survived.

11th find of the day and the last one! Cool area for caching with some mates. TFTC!
Lots of spiders in the area as previously reported. We had to climb over a rusty wire fence to get to the area.
SPIDERS!!! SPIDERS EVERYWHERE!!! Good hide but have to be very careful getting to it. Left a few English coins for the next brave explorer tftc
Great one! Nice cache here with plenty of swaps. Took nothing, left nothing, just signed log. A few mountain bikers out this arvo, lots of birds about but no roos as we saw them over the other side today!

Cache container out in the open, lid half closed with water standing inside. No way this log is signable.
Thanks! Nearly walked into an enormous spider in its web on the way in, added to the thrill!
My first ever find. Thankyou Wrangler 140 and team mullaley. This is gonna be fun:-)
Easy cache with a lot of Christmas spiders in the vicinity. Left a teapot.
Picked this cache up while doing a loop of the northern side of Plenty Gorge.
Saw plenty of stumps, plenty of caches, plenty of butterflies, plenty of kangaroos and a solidarity echidna. Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful place.

Out and about for my sister's birthday today and we decided to find a cache after lunch at a lovely cafe nearby. After attempting to find some further into the gorge but failing due to them being further down than expected we decided this would be a great cache to go for! Considering we were unprepared for a long walk on a hot day we made the right choice to come here instead. The walk in from the nearby road was lovely (we made sure not to block the use of the water tanks as I know how frustrating it is to not be able to reach a worksite).
At one stage I thought I felt a fly land on my arm and shooed it away only to be told it was a butterfly, drats I would have left it there had I known! My friend had just gotten a butterfly tattoo so it was beautiful to see so many in the wild today.
At GZ I saw the cache immediately and was happy that we didn't need to wander into any long grass to reach it, it was perfect snake weather! We found a cute trackable that wants to visit National Parks so I'll move it along.
Thanks for the cache! I'll be back to get the others nearby sometime

I found this cache on my Plenty Gorge Hiking Day. I walked back up the track from the previous Stumps #6 cache and enjoyed making the find on what is now an 11 year old cache. Thanks from D B-A
Easy find while waiting for a medical appt. Nice secluded place away from the world and the virus for a bit. Nice hide and a good location to hide it in. Figured it would be in there as I walked up to it, having found so many (over 1000).
Getting out of the house during lockdown to get our exercise within our 5km zone and cross off some more caches within the wonderful Plenty Gorge park. Thanks for placing the cache and bringing us to this part of the Park, which we haven't explored before.
On this cool and wintry winter's day I enjoyed a delightful day of walking and photographing and geocaching in this very special place. Given I found quite a few caches on the day and given that day was now, like, four weeks ago and I am only now catching up on my outstanding draft logs, they are all going to be pretty generic. Sorry. I did enjoy them all though and am very grateful to the rather wonderful COs who placed them.

First find for the day in this beautiful park. The cicadas are chirping loudly and the day is cool and brisk.
Left one of my painted stones.
