We have only just discoverd all the Poplar Trees have gone, along with our Cache. But will find another place within the Park soon. Thanks Barbara & Terry
Found by Mrs C. Plenty of people (golfer) [:o)], but they moved on quickly and there were good gaps between groups [8]. Found on a quiet Sunday afternoon drive to New Brighton. TNLN, TFTC.
Used a break during the IPC champs to search for this cache. No muggles in the area, but the rest of QEII was quite busy. Quick find, TFTC
TFTC! Lots of muggles about, especially so close to golf course, but did our best not to get spotted!
looked around quite a bit. did find a possum! will try another time. forgot to log however until early April.

This was the last one for today. Today were not many muggles around so we found the box easyly. Good hide.
TFTC and greetings from Switzerland.

On our way to the cache we nearly got hit by a golf ball. Steha70 picked the box.
Thank you for the cache and greetings from Switzerland.

This was the first cache I ever found... Found the coin left by the canadians and now will put that in a new cache! This was a fun cache to find always on the look out for muggles!

We are visiting friends in Christchurch, New Zealand, and have taken them to their first geocache. They were very excited to find the cache. We left a travel bug owned by a geocacher from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We visit this complex every time we are in Christchurch, and we especially like the swimming pool. Thanks for placing this cache; we had fun looking for it.
After searching around lots of likely places - finally had in hand. But of screaming when two very large muggle dogs "found" us - but all was okay. TFTC
GPS all over the place & too many fantastic hiding places ! OK not that many if you read the clues properly. It will go down in our books as we made hard work of it . We have played the golf many times and have hacked that up just as much as we hacked up this cache. Many thanks Little G Magic
Nice hide! I've never been around the back here. Interesting to have a look around, rather than just into the pool and out again. TFTC
I've never seen the Park from this perspective. It would be nice here in the summer. Enjoyed this. Thanks. Hatas
Found just before the sun went down after a lovely blustery afternoon at the beach. TNLN. TFTC.
Out for a run. New iPhone update makes things a bit harder to find. Always seem to b off by 10+m or more. Tftc
good clues thanks a bunch
i took the travel bug with the mushroom on it
no prblems with muggles at all

Ducked in, ducked out. Quick one to find with mind set to it. Great spot for the hide.
Found on a nice few days in Christchurch finding some good fun caches. Nicely hidden, left TB SL TFTC

Found whilst out on a run around the environs of QE II. Wow, there has been quite a bit of development around the park since I last ran out here (probably about 8 or 9 years ago) TFTC
(237) A nice easy cache in a nice spot.. TFTC, Master Brogan enjoyed the walk in the leaves and puddles..
Quick grab, yes I don't remember the site at the time, however do now! Thanks for the step up and the cache..

Unlike the venerable members of McWindeLuneX7, Zsazsa7 and I are too young to remember these games but I'm sure they were great. Chch is a lovely city, and we've really enjoyed our time here. Sadly it's passing all too quickly. TFTC!
It was good to explore around this area and I certainly remember all the excitement at the time of the Commonwealth games. A good facility!. Cache located and the bizzo performed, thanks womble-bbt.
1974 Commonwealth Games......remember some of it quite well.
Thanks for bringing us around to see where a lot of it happen. Cache was quickly found, signed and returned.

3143. [font=Comic Sans Ms][green]We ended up here after it was obvious that I had stuffed up the answers for NZ Gold. So a wander in to retrieve this one gave time for both Mrs W and I to come to the same conclusion about the solution to the other.

Having come into town to visit family I decided to do a couple of caches nearby with three grandsons in tow.
While I was looking in one potential places one of the Grandsons shouted "I've found it Grandad".
There definitely is NO Geocoin in the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

Grey day so where to go walkabouts? This was first of 4 caches in this part of town today. Haven't been here for a while. #1394
Got out during a break in the showers. Should've gone with the WWFM crew yesterday, but it was an easy find today with no muggles on the golf course. Picked up the Tupperman coin to take to the USA.
Walked up from the south - wary of flying golf-balls. But I got through unscathed, and made an quick find. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1805)
I enjoyed the Fgrc hc - just what I needed! Liked the hide and it was good to chat with the owners at the flash mob event.
TFTC.

#1383 (5/8 in Eastern Chch). Visited post the flash mob event. Very quiet here today. Liked the hide, and the subtle hints as to its location. TFTC.
A fairly quick dash from the park, but the autumn leaves made the hunt a little more interesting Cheers Gav [5831]
We were having more luck finding the cache than the lady playing golf near by.Took come to mama TB. TFTC
Dad damaged himself climbing up the wrong tree abd also took Rufus the dog on his first geocache.
Cool place to hide a cache
thanks

Got the cache just fine, but wound up being trapped for a while by muggles who decided to stop nearby to chat. Once they departed the cache went back into its hiding space no problem. Nice hide. Cheers for the cache!
Played golf there quite often;- the worst course in ChCh. Enjoyable cache thank you.
Found in the dark, had a friend who wanted to see what geocaching was all about.

Found the a'fore'mentioned cache with no problems. Some awesome autumn leaves to have a leaf-fight with.
Have never wandered around this way before. Lots of muggles enjoying their golf in the sun. Lots of great hiding places too.... TFTC Took TB
Out on another cyclocache ride on a very nice afternoon. It was just as well that I had moved about 30m away from GZ after retrieving the cache, to perform the log signing formalities. As I was signing some hacker's golf ball struck the tree right next to where the cache had been hidden! Phew, that was close! Had to wait until the hacker had taken another 5 shots to get out to the nearby target green before I could replace the cache. + Speed Racer "I'm in a race" Racing Car TB. Thanks for the cache.
We had no idea that we would get a FTF (fourth to find). First cache for a while, bagged by Teddy 1 and 3 after a swim at the pool. Lovely hiding spot and clue. Thank you.
Coming in for lunch I checked my emails and discovered a new cache had been just published. I was out the door in 10mins. I parked in the carpark behind QE11 and took a path towards GZ where I was spotted by Bo and Bronnie crossing the park. We counted down to GZ together and Bo quick as can be spotted the hint first. Bronnie being nearest put her hand in and pulled out the cache. Then they generously handed me the log book to record the first find on the pristine page. It was great to catch up with Bo & Bronnie who I hadn't seen for almost a year. Thanks for bringing us out on a lovely autumn day to find this new cache. + TB -TB
I had just popped inside to grab some lunch and after a quick check on the computer had noticed that this new cache had come up and it was just around the corner. As Bronnie hadnt been out caching for a while she decided to join me on this one. While crossing the park I spotted Hello Mrs so we waited for her to join us for the rest of the walk and the hunt. A nice easy find and a good chin wag. It was great to cache up with Hello Mrs again as its been a while.. Many thanks for the nice wee cache.. Cheers Bo
Closest to a first to find we've had in ages. Third we where and on the same day.
