Have checked and it has gone for the third time, so this time I will let it rest in peace as the original hiding place has grown into a different shape (as trees do!) and the original method of securing the cache is no longer valid.
Maybe I will revive it as a micro but that can wait for now.

We searched high and low for this one to no avail, even the dog got inside the cache site to have a look for it too. Spoke to Pup about it and he said that we had looking in the right place.
Oh well.....its a DNF for us Sad

The kids, Emma (5) and James (7) were quite disappointed with not finding this one. They enjoyed the short walk along the canal, but when we got to the location and had a good look around, a check of the hint confirmed we were looking at the correct thing, but no sign of it.
Hope it was us not looking in the right places and not that it's missing.

Found in the dark, easy when we found the footpath. TFTC

Cached with Us 4 and Jess, lovely walk and found by Graham i had looked and i couldn't see. TFTC

Number 3 on our day out with Harvs123. Nice little walk along the canal to the hiding place. At first we thought it had been muggled but a poke with a stick in the right place by Stephen (Harvs123) was successful. Signed log and headed back to tent for lunch. TFTC.

Lovely walk along the canal. Had a few problems locating the cache but after a bit of poking about we had success.

We saw some strange flower type things in the field by the canal and we dont know what they were but it kept the interest up on the walk.

Very nice walk on a fine evening, once we found the right path.

Lovely area the cache took a little bit of finding even after using the clue.

Narrow boat moored nearby (unsure whether occupied) so had to be quick. In - a squeezy-plastic coloured star for top of a pen, from Djerba1 (Tunisia). Out - a plastic part from a toy. The moorhen's cackling can bring attention to you Smile

Was riding past so had a look @ it, had to use the old 'my Damn Seat needs raising' to avoid muggle suspicion

Checked to find the cache is in place though no longer with its former suspension method. Provided it is replaced with care it should be safe as it has not been disturbed for three months or so.

27-Apr-06
AS it has been reported out of place I will make a new fixing and replace asap

Botheration! Should've read the cache notes, no pen, so I tore a corner off Vido's page to "prove" my visit Wink Nice location, parked near the swingy bridge. Ta. TNLN.

Found @ 1224 today, nice short walk, but a really easy find due to the fact that it was lying on the floor.

Took: Euro 2004 Medal & Woddle
Left: Viking Long Boat (Seemed to fit the area)

Forgot pen though

[Found @ 1224 today, nice short walk, but a really easy find due to the fact that it was lying on the floor. After looking at the clue after getting back it appears that the] skirt hanger [is no longer there.] [We've] wedged it in the tree [as best we can.]

Lovely little walk along the towpath despite the by now heavy rain but be aware that some dogowners don't think it necessary to clean up after their little darlings. What an ingenious way to hide the cache!! Seventh find of the day for all of us but we let Daddy-Botherer retrieve it to make sure nothing got broken. TNLNSL.
