### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Poiter.h,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Victoria’s feet are a bit water logged atm and the cache might need moving to a more waterproof location. Regardless, the log was signed and we are most grateful for your cache along this stretch of road.
The log book is very wet. I did manage to get a red A on one of the pages, but I'm sure it has blurred since.I do like a border cache...TFTC
The work year has finished, so it’s time to head off on another road trip - to explore ‘The Pointy End’.
DAY TWO: Jarrahmond to Mallacoota.
Wandered over to search for this one. Thought I spotted it. Nope, that’s a real rock. Then with a bit of a feel, found the nicely tucked away cache. Unfortunately the cute little logbook is a soggy clump, so our stamp is a smudge.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Poiter.h

Day 2 of the Bring In The New Year (BITNY) road-trip. After camping in at woods point for the evening it’s a day of UBD and LGA smashing. Finally time to tick off the south east of Victoria with a journey out to Mallacoota and surrounds.
We crossed the border and crossed back again minutes later. Felt a bit rude to be looking up Victoria’s skirt, but there was a cache to get after all.
Cache was wet and logbook is damp.
Thanks Poiter.h for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Not sure I was peering under Victoria's skirt, felt more like I looking at her socks!
Anyway I was glad the CO did such a good job placing the cache as it was still there despite the recent rains, you could see the water had been above the cache so it was good that the log was still dry. Not many cars on the road today and no one checking where we were coming from. So much for border checks

Out and about for a lovely days exploring the day, in perfect weather. Stopped off to make a quick find here at GZ, while passing. We were surprised to see a heap of debris wash up around the GZ after all the recent heavy rain. We grabbed some sticks and started digging through the rubbish and after some searching, we discovered what we were looking for. While it was a bit wet, the cache was still intact. We dried out the container and the log book. After signin the log book it was replaced in it's rightful place.
Thanks Poiter.h for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Whilst working the border checkpoint (Police) thought I'd go for a walk to find this one.

Part of a driving holiday, so a couple of touristy cache stops. Including here. The end of our Victorian section of the trip, the beginning of the long drive across NSW in the smoke. But here a nice little break.

Despite no coverage here and not being able to read any clues we found cache ok. What a beautiful little logbook, it has made my day, and I am first to sign it. Thank you CO.
Heading homeward after the Clear Waters Mega we had to mark our geo route with smilies where there is room for car & caravan to stop reasonably safely.

It was finally time to attend an interstate Mega event and this was my final day here got up bright and early to do a couple of hill climbs and bush walks and river walks to find a couple I ran out of time on a couple of years ago when we were last here. I also wanted to find a couple of old ones to help qualify for a challenge I collected yesterday.
Finally the Mega trip was and an early start directly south from Canberra to change the scenery up a bit was on the cards. I marked a random cache every 100km or so to break up the drive. Gladly I was just outrunning the storms so no rain at any of the stops and no DNF's either.
Thanks greynomads for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

We had actually run out of phone reception on the drive down to Victoria - but the fuel economy was amazing! We figured something might be here and struck gold quickly. The old log was pretty damaged so luckily we had a spare in the car we could use. TFTC
I went south from my camp at Bombala as my chosen route for todays geocaching run . Along with the rest of the caches placed along the Monaro Hwy tis was a quick find. This one was full of water and soaked when found The log was soaked and could not be signed without wrecking it. The log looked fairly new and good quality so it was a pity to see it in such condition. I place it high and left the lid partly opened to help drain and dry further. this is a heads up for the CO. TFTC.
Returning from Canberra back to Melbourne but going the long way around to complete some pages in the Victorian Country UBD Callenge. Grub62 and I thought a few extra chaches along the way would be nice. We saw this cache was on the way and stopped to stretch our legs. I loved the story attached to this. When we arrived at GZ we found a well hidden cache but it was very wet. We were still able to sign the log book though. TFTC.
Found while driving with Bunadoorian to Mallacoota from Canberra. Find 11 of 22 for us today but I can't claim 2 just yet. Loved the story behind this cache. Map 23 of UBD Victorian challenge ticked off. TFTC greynomads

Heading to Melbourne with the Reluctant Geospouse and the two geo hounds. We are running late because we spent too long excercising our democratic privilege and enjoying some democracy sausage.
I was permitted to grab a couple of caches by cleverly suggesting we swap drivers when a cache was nearby.
This was an easy find while the RGS pulled off the road on the other side. Sadly, the contents are completely soaked from recent rain, but I was still able to make my mark.
Thanks for the cache greynomads

This was our last find in New South Wales until we return again towards the latter end of our current travels. The well named cache was soon once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
It was great to celebrate our border crossing with a geocache find. It was a bit grassy under Victoria's skirt, but we found a gold after a small search.
Headed out with Genghicat for the Australia day weekend. Thought we'd explore Lakes Enterance.
This is my first cache in Vic since starting to cache. I trained in Vic and lived here 3 years but was not caching back then. Found this one quickly. The log book is soaking and container is without a lid, but was able to make our mark. Tftc

I was on my way to Melbourne via the Monaro so made a quick stop to grab this cache on the way down.
Parked the car right beside gz and headed over towards the obvious. A typical cache camo was soon spotted and I quickly saw the cache hiding there underneath. The passing truckdrivers must have been wandering what I was doing!
Signed the log and replaced it all as found. Then it was back in the car to continue my journey. TFTC

Well our adventure travelling to Victoria to attend the Alexandra Mega Event unfortunately has to come to an end and with a severe rain event forecast, we decided we should hightail it out of there and try to keep ahead of the heavy rain predicated to come across the state over the next few days
Obviously, we took every opportunity we could to stop and stretch our legs, and finding a cache as you do [^] We had no difficulty in locating this cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way
Thank you greynomads for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

I stopped off on the other side of the road on my way south and strolled over for a quick find. Thanks for the cache, Grey Nomads.
I sought out some geocaches while on a six-day trip with others from Pedal Power in Canberra to East Gippsland to ride the East Gippsland Railtrail. I found 32 caches plus I collected two travel bugs to share the journey. The weather was fine and mild, the scenery delightful and the company pleasant, making for a great trip.
This cache was not a reasonably straightforward find as I initially entered the incorrect coordinates into my GPS that took me into the scrub by the highway where no micro would ever be found. The correct coordinates led me unerringly to where what geocaching smarts I possess said it would have been! Thank you greynomads for installing and maintaining this cache.

The long weekend was here and it was time for fitzy_1965 and I to head down to Vic in the geo-unit for an epic geomission We had a great time camping, cruising around admiring the beautiful scenery and nabbing LOTS of caches! A great weekend of quality caching all round!

Our first NSWCache for the trip! Stopped for a photo ( of the car) at the border and found a cache! Thanks for it.
We were on a mission today, to actually get caches in all 4 pages of the UBD Road Atlas that covers the far eastern section of Victoria that we haven't found a cache in. We would be chasing caches along a predetermined route, not all caches though, just the easily accessible ones, as time would play a factor in what we could and couldn't do.
We set off from Orbost early and headed for the Border on the Princes Highway, before returning to Cann River with a detour to Mallacoota. Then up the Monaro Highway to the Border to get caches in the map that covered this area. In what was a big day of driving, we managed to complete the task and arrived back in Orbost about 4.00 p.m., but that wasn't the end of our day.
We'd planned on grabbing the EGRT - Final at Orbost, but communication with the CO showed we had missed one cache and had to forget the final, so on to the missed cache 11 km away, then the drive to Bairnsdale where we'd made a late booking.
Thank you to all the CO's who placed caches along the route we ended up taking for our special day of caching, we loved the area in which we drove, even managed to cope with the icy mornings with frost on the ground until lunchtime.

Found by Mary & David at 1422. Ah Victoria - shameless! We peeked, though, and found the cache. Heading slowly home after a week in Canberra minding the grandchildren. Now we can relax and get back to some serious caching. Our thanks to greynomads.

We had to head down to Cann River to drop off a friend who had been caring for our German Shepherd for 3 weeks after his back surgery. So we took took advantage of the drive and collected some caches along the way and back again.
Lovely drive down to this area, the weather was lovely, although we did strike some fog in Nimatabel which felt a bit odd. But the sun continued to shine all day for us.

It would NOT be right to ignore all the caches en-route! LOL ...

Our 75th cache on this trip.
We were determined to do 3 states/territories in the one day so now was the time to hit Victoria, having already logged finds for NSW & ACT.

Now for a quick trip (3hrs 38minutes) back to Goulburn to grab some sleep before our next leg.

No need for GPS here, it's in an obvious location and it was van friendly as well.
TFTC. Heading back home to NSW from 3 weeks in Tassie we thought we would grab this one on the border between the 2 states. A quick find and had the log book signed and back where it belongs in no time.
Found on our trip to Mallacoota. After carefully driving on this windy road, we slowly approached GZ to safely park at GZ. A pretty quick find once we got there. Now, about the state that the cache is listed under - after seeing this hide, I'm not sure if I'd classify this cache as being in NSW or VIC! Cool little hide. Lovely area surrounding the cache. TFTC greynomads!
After a great Kozzy adventure with Cinetico5 - we were heading home and pointed the right direction on the Monaro. So we stopped for a pic at the border sign and easily found the cache. TNLN, SL, TFTC! And this is my 100th find!
Quick trip round from Geelong.
Nice easy find before heading back to Melb.
Thanks greynomads for the cache.

Well, didn't have to get under her skirt... the box was right at her ankles - thanks, nice idea!
As we had the Western border with GC373FE "A place to be" we leave now Victoria to NSW. Cute little logbook!
TFTC and greetings from Austria!

Found in the rain and thunder. Good thing it was a quick find! Forest looks nice in this weather.
Thanks
Thanks
Today we headed towards Sale passing through some of the best country side similar to our home state, Tassie and picking a few along the way and this was one of them.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

On the way to Canberra on a very hot day. Thanks for giving us a reason to stop.
I had headed down to Morwell to spend some time with some family and see my nephew/godson for his 10th birthday. On Sunday night, I planned to head off earlier towards home to allow for some time to collect some caches along the way. A normally 7.5 hour drive turned into just over 13 hours [:o]
I decided to give the caches in Cann River a miss as it was muggle central!!. It was now time to start heading north towards home, this one was found quickly, signed and back to the car before a number of trucks passed me, bugger.
Thanks for the cache placement greynomads

Found our passport and proceeded across the border without problems. Or - we got out from under Victoria's skirt for a short break, i.e. temporarily free from the "Nanny State" (although we suspect it is just as bad here!).
TNLNSL Thanks Bill and Dianna for another greynomad cache.
