After completing the adventure lab in town we're making our way back to Renmark. The cache container could be seen from the vehicle so a very easy find, TFTC
Now that the main reason for our journey was over and multiple caching trails were completed it was time to venture home. Our Mob had gone separate ways. Only three teams left now us, Rapidlywild and The Drovers. We made our slow journey back to Mildura where we were stopping for the night, caching all the way. Lovely weather couldn't have asked for better weather for this journey. Log stamped and we were on our way again. Thanks for the hide crane2 and thanks for a fun adventure Rapidlywild
Plans have been in place for a little while now about a convoy from the Canberra Mega to head over to SA and finish off what currently stands of the On Your Bike series. Today being day 5 of the trip away, todays convoy consisted of The Drovers, FurfacesLL and myself. So the target convoy caches have been completed and we all went our separate ways. The Drovers were heading in the same direction as us so we teamed up to collect some caches as we made our way back towards Mildura for the night. A nice quick find as we travel along the highway, always a good excuse to stop Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance crane2 and thanks FurfacesLL for another fun trip away
Woo Hoo, Time for another Tuesday Trekking. The plan was for The starfish and ttrogg to met at the Rat's Nest.Load up the ttrogg geomobile and head out for Waikerie. The day was quiet warm, it was a fun filled day.The day was filled with stories and laughter.A quick find and stamp. Tftc

pineapplegoldy and MotherGoldy are on their first holiday together, on a trip we've named "Almost Went to Sydney"
We are heading to Ebenezer for a tour of where the 80's TV show "A Country Practice" was filmed.
We are stopping at pre-selected caches every hour and swapping the driving duties.
MotherGoldy loves adventure labs so we'll be doing a few of them too.
I needed this cache for a challenge cache at Two Wells so we added it to the list.
A quick find here today, cache is in good order.
Thanks crane2 for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3045 on the 4th of May 2023.
Happy Star Wars Day and May the 4th be with you!
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

This weekend, I headed to the Murray Riverland around Berri and Renmark primarily to attend the celebration event, but also to join others in some kayaking geocaching adventures. I hadn't visited this region before, and I left really enjoying the picturesque nature of the rivers, the wine-growing areas, and pretty towns. I ended up visiting Kingston on Murray, Barmera, Berri, Lyrup, Renmark, and Paringa. Three other highlights worthy of mentioning was Chambers Creek, Katarapko Island, and the historical SA-NSW surveyed border area.
This afternoon, I made the drive from Adelaide to Berri. I made a few brief stops along the way targeting my bucket list caches (unique types, oldies, etc.), and then met Laighside Legends to complete *The Bucket List* kayaking cache, ironically enough. From there, we then travelled towards Renmark, and once it got dark, even walked the *Bookmark Creek Trail*. I then spent a little more time geocaching and sightseeing in Renmark, before finally visiting historical *Riverland Geocache*.
With a DNF just up the road, I decided to make another stop here. As it turned out, it was a quick find, but no sign of a scorpion here. The cache container was cracked and in pretty bad shape, and the logbook was damp, but it had already been disabled by the CO for required maintenance. Thanks crane2 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The container is all smashed and broken so it’s not protected from the weather. My kids were lucky as there was an alive scorpion inside it
We remember as young ones the airport was all most people knew about Waikerie, we were always out at Sundlands so we never payed much attention to the goings on at the airport. Nice little side access road to this cache made it good and safe to stop for.
We came to the Riverland to do our regional getaway and had been hoping to visit up this way for quite some time. It seems like a lifetime ago we had an orange block out at Sunlands, you just cant beat a fresh orange straight off the tree. These days we dont even like buying bags of citrus from the supermarket as we know they arent anywhere near as fresh and juicy as they should be. It was a sttruggle to find some places to stop for food as so many were still being very conscious of the Covid 19 threat but we muddled through. We allowed ourselves the luxury of not necessarily clearing out every cache in an area we just ambled along finding random caches so we had a more relaxing trip, gives us a reason to return another time.
Thanks crane2 for the cache and some local history.

As I am getting older and running out of time, I have decided I will take off on my own to cache in different areas of our vast country as my NGW (Non Geocaching Wife) has no interest in caching.
I have been up to Loxton for five days of full on caching with suscoe, au.fait and Phetlern and still have so many caches to log.
Heading off in the opposite direction today with the crew and with still over 70 caches to log.
I am afraid that for the next few days my logs are going to be a lot of cutting and pasting but that does not take away the effort that the owners have put in to provide these caches for us to find so please accept my thanks. With close to 200 caches placed I know how much work is involved with not only placing them but the ongoing maintenance.
Thanks, crane2 for placing this cache and all the others that we have found.

Heading westward toward Waikerie, in the great company of au.fait. Bushfire & Suscoe on Friday the 13th. Sounds ominous, it was splendid, interesting caches and lots of local history.
With a pilot on board we were interested in anything airborne.
Satellites today had our GZ 13 metres, north west of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to 'crane2' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

None of the big soaring birds from the adjacent airport around today Pity. I enjoy soaring Another lovely day of caching in the splendid company of Phetlern Suscoe and Bushfire. We had an ambitious plan to find caches between Loxton and Waikerie before calling it a day to enjoy a relaxed if slightly late lunch at Banrock Station. The day concluded with a friendly BBQ where we were also able to catch up with crane2 who had provided us with so many caches around this area TFTC crane2
While staying at the Holder Bend Reserve we have made the most of nearby caches. No one soaring while were there quick easy find tftc

I'm staying in Barmera for a couple of weeks and today I decided to go for a drive to Waikerie and find the caches along the way and those in Waikerie that I haven't found. [^] It was freezing cold and very windy, but that didn't stop me. It ended up being a successful day finding 21 caches with only 1 DNF that I'm pretty sure is missing.
No soaring birds sighted today, but I did find the cache.
Thanks for the cache crane2.

Azzepious and I went on our second annual trip to Adelaide for caching and cricket. Joining us was muggle Skonos who refused to make a geocaching account but did help on finding caches. Day 3 took us from Renmark to Adelaide to meet our friends who flew down.
All caches logged as Team G.O.G.G.G.G (Team of Glorious Geocaching Gamer Geeks)
A park and grab on the side track.

Day two was Hay to Renmark for 29 finds.

Were grabbing some caches Se we are headed for Mildura with Noodels22. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches for our enjoyment.

After a great caching road trip out to the Yorke Peninsula with J+J, we unfortunately met out half way point and had to start heading back home. We had another two power trails to complete on the way though.
After the heavy rain a couple of days earlier, the dirt roads were still soft but managable.
In the end we managed to find 158 caches and make our way back into VIC again. Tomorrow we have to cross back to NSW and hopefully still get our cache find count up.
Thanks for the all the caches.
