Whoops, I had forgotten that this one was disabled, Planning a maintenance visit soon.
Visited cache today and collected TB "My Right Sandal'.
Log book is full now and also damp. The previous time I visited there was a piece
of wood that could sit in front of cache but that seems to have gone now.
Oops forgot to change the date. I visited on Saturday 25th May.

Nice place to stop as we headed home from Cape Reinga. Long day already and still a long way to go. TFTC
A nice little cache in a nice little park, while we ate our dinner of burgers from the fish and chip shop. Enormous stump though !
This is certainly a big one. Just looking at my notes and have noticed that I didn't write down the Number. Dang!!
Also there is no Trackable in the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

We are out here from Australia on Chippyroo's Middle Earth Caching Quest. Wow that is one impressive stump, would have loved to see the tree! TFTC.
Another nice quick find which I was grateful for after a dismal days caching due to 7 DNFs #2728
Found it:) but no travel bug. We wanted to take it to USA with us & leave it there
Repeating my note from a few weeks ago
Can anyone visiting this cache watch out for my little Daisy Bell geocoin. It's only small and may be lost in the bottom of the box. It's a bit too far away for me to check it for myself. Cheers Edna

Could see GZ which was an easy find, but it was also a nice shady sport for some local children to be playing. Nice location but retreated rather than expose the cache location.
#756 Quick find. Seem to have collected some of these last year, will see how many more we can do this weekend. Maybe the prize for the longest time to find the final!! TB drop. SL. TFTC.
i don t think we can find the entire serie but we found this one on the way south

Found as part of a driving tour of the lower Northland caches with GT as we grabbed the A- Z series. Thanks.
Headed North with TF to complete the Driving A-Z series. That would have been a monster tree back in the day. Rather interesting how the Pohutakawa Tree has grown from the middle. TFTC
A quick find on our way back to NZ.
As others have said, this too must of been a great tree in it's day.
Thanks for the reason to stop & for giving a little view of the area.
