Unfortunately the Statue that the cache was hidden in has been removed and I have not been able to find a cost effective replacement.
Our second time at trying for this one as were in the area. Didn't realise all the other DNF's untill after we had another good go.
I must be losing my geosenses! I had 20 minutes free so thought I would go and have a nosy for a cache. No Luck unfortunately Will just have to return in the future
The favourites on this make me think that I just haven't looked hard enough but with two passes and a quarter of a book read while trying to look inconspicuous, I have to log this as a DNF though I admit this could definitely be user error
Another great morning to get some in, hopefully before the rain sets in. Bit of a search, but got it in the end .. Cheers!
Nice wee cache, in a nice wee spot.
Cache, log and companion all dry and in good condition

Another in a series of random trips around the country, this weekend brings my down to Christchurch for a road trip down to Timaru for the Saturday night, and back home to Wellington on Sunday. With only a few real life commitments in between I had plenty of spare time for targeting some specific caches along the way (as required for some of my geocaching goals), as well as a few random others. This was one of them.
No idea what the hint was all about, but after identifying where the GPS said 0m, and then sitting in the nearby bench examining my options, the cache was soon found. All good here.
Thanks to Survey Base for placing this cache here.

Did some Dog/housesitting in this area a couple of years ago, so decided to have a drive out this way as might as well do a geocache, tftc macraeclan
Almost gave up then spoted something inserting and the cache. Many thanks. Fav point. Signed KTNZ.
nice quick find love the little solider Log is full and needs to be replaced. Tftc
Had me scratching my head, but looked at the clues, sat and looked and there it was.

Who's spying on me!!!....I sat there for ages reading previous logs to get sum kinda hint..... Partner in Caching, Mumbo11, walkers behind and spots who had their eyes on my the whole time..... Probably laughing at me too..... Oh, well...... Log found and signed..... TFTC
Found after looking at previous logs and also found out what the clue ment great find tftc
A passing non-muggle gave us a vague hint on his way past, and we were then able quickly worked out what the hint meant! TFTC - cute wee park.
Tftc had help from a fellow geocacher so a shout out to him and the 2 lads do like hide and seek.
TFTC. Had help from a local cacher who led us in the right direction. Excellent location for it.
favourite cache to date, once you get it it makes so much sense . so so clever tftc!!
On the way back from the dentist, we stopped here before going to school. Little cacher was proud to understand the hint and find the cache. I couldn't make sense of the hint. Both container and logbook were in good condition, thanks for the cache!
Nice cache had no pen (should have read the cache description before setting out), so took photo. Happy to send to CO if they care. TFTC
I've been meaning to find this one for about 10 years and so today I did. I didn't find a 35mm film canister as described nor did I find the co-ords particularly accurate but I did find the cache but only after taking a second look at an item that seemed 'out of place'. The cache itself took a bit of persuasion to extract and in the end it is in good condition. Thanks macraeclan.
Team BOP on another crazy mission again to the South Island. Lockdown gave us a lot of free time that we directed into Canterbury’s many Geo-Arts and with the Auckland 2020 Mega postponement, Christchurch was an easy decision. Team BOPs current incarnation is DavidsonClan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed all the logs as Team BOP to save time and log space.
So Labour Weekend 2020, it’s a numbers mission, the Cachly cut’n’paste template is sorted and while I unapologetically use this tool, I truly appreciate you placing this cache for us to find. This was a neat little cache, found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, a straight forward placement and a good hint. It was also a good warm up for the days of non-stop caching we've got planned.
Cheers Survey Base, TFTC

As Auckland Mega has been postponed we decided to do a trip south to Christchurch. Four of us from Team BOP joined up to share a car and accomodation. I always love these weekends as the company is great and makes our days and nights out caching lots of fun. We have done lots of puzzles in preparation and did some long windy roads to get them. Found lots of great caches and thanks to all the COs for the effort that goes into these Please excuse the copied logs and I will try to make some individual notes on as many as I can This sort of trip is where I find the cachly app very valuable. TFTC
On a mission to the south after mega in Auckland was canceled. Team Bop booked airfares and here we are. Thanks all COs for your efforts. Due to numbers please excuse copy and paste logs in advance.
With the Mega Covid cancelled this year a part of Team BoP decided to come south and try get all our solved puzzles. So here we are!
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Yay. Redeemed myself on this D.N.F. I was looking close to the right place. This time, I found something unusual, the penny dropped and I saw what I was looking for. Find # 642
No luck today in finding the cache. There just didn't seem any place logical enough to hide it so gave up the search after 10 minutes.
Spent more than 20 minutes trying to find it, couldn’t find it, we read the hints and looked at photos people left and there descriptions. Any hints of where it is?
We visited Christchurch today to find 9 different types of caches. On our way to the final coordinates of a cache we passed this and with a good few favs we knew it would be worth it. We followed the coordinates so we searched in the wrong place for 15minutes until one of us walked over and said I'd put it here and after a lot of messing around we investigated and found. You don't need a tool to extract because it has two ways into the cache. Thanks for the cache!
After visiting the Webcam Cache I took a walk to the botanical garden.
I searched for this can, found it and registered myself in the LB.
Thanks for this cache says Pöni.

Back in the big city for another weekend ...not keen on p and gs while driving the city streets alone prefer to park up and walk an area...
After doing the nearby multi I wandered over for a look for this and was not disappointed.nice quick find but I was not expecting that even though previous finders have given away a big hint .. deserves a fav ..tftc

Ah.... Now that makes total sense. We read through the activity logs, looked at the hint and description and decided to do just as suggested, take a seat. All is then revealed and it was a quick and easy find after that.
I must say though, nicely done on a very busy intersection. TFTC

Visited on my Christmas holiday trip to Hong Kong, New Zealand and South Korea. A quick log now to get the correct TB/GC mileage, details to follow later. TFTC!
On our first holiday in New Zealand, we visited Chritchurch by bike. We found this cache.
Thank you very much. Greetz from Holland.

Found! Love the hint once you understand it. I struggled more putting the paper roll back in, than the actual searching for the geocache.
The GPS wasn't that accurate under the trees, and the hint was a bit too cryptic, and didn't help narrow down the area. It only made sense once I'd found the exact spot, which took a bit too much time. TFTC.
Sneaky hide! Found pretty quick and the hint made sense after finding the cache. TFTC!
Been eyeing this up for a while as we go past here often. Finally stopped to find today and once we figured out the hint and watched our GPS exactly found the sneaky little hide. TFTC
Quick find after crossing the busy road. In the way to hopefully get my first multi.

You do need to sit on the chair and observe. Well camouflaged. Thanks for the cache!

This is a midnight challenge from FatIsLord who found the caches days ago, and I cracked the challenge right at 00:00 midnight.
Went to the place, Zelta1990 and Fengz arrived on site already and was searching around.
I double checked the coords and went to the GZ, took some time there feeling the call, and re-re-read the description. Then I kinds understand what I am looking for. Spotted the suspicious marking item and move on to a detailed search, then Aha, gotcha!
Cache in hand and the log is signed.
Nice hide, and thank for bringing us to the place in a midnight. Driving thru this cross almost everyday in the morning but never really see how it looks like in the night.
Found together with Zelta1990, Fengz, Jason433. And yes, I'm the one who spotted the cache.

Yay I finally found it after overthinking what 4 lads ment, signed the logbook, tftc
Its quite a good cache, the statue gave us a mysterious feeling, found it with my girlfriend, this is her first cache, huwrayy
This was a trip, together with CrazyHiker68, in order to celebrate our birthdays. We've been to Hong Kong, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and - last but not least - Singapore. It was out of question that we had to search for hidden caches - sometimes we did it together, sometimes we did it apart. Anyway, it was lot of fun and I love looking back to those days. This find was an easy one and I want to TFTC [^]
Together with Fischmac68 I travelled to Hongkong, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for four weeks. We have seen a lot of beautiful places and cities and enjoyed the summer time at the other side of the world.
Of course we also had a look at some geocaches. Many could be found, like this one, some other could not.
After the found I nearly forgot my bag. Luckily there are no muggles outside of cars, so it was still there when I returned a few minutes later...
Thanks for the cache and many greetings from Germany.

12.15: On the way to the airport. Once again it is time to say "Goodbye New Zealand!". After fueling our rental car before returning we discovered this cache on the other side of the road and decided to give it a try. Right decision! It was definitely worth it! The hint sounded quite cryptic at first but everything fell into place.
As this one marks our last cache on our 2018-journey across New Zealand: So from here we would like to say a great big THANK YOU! to all NZ-cachers for their ideas and effort in placing and maintaining all these caches.
Weather: overcast, 17°C;
Wheelchair: no problem;
State: all good.
Thank you for showing us this place! A favourite point goes out for this one!

My bus goes past here on my way to and from work every single day, and it only just occurred to me how easy it would be to grab this cache on my way home. Thanks for the cache!!!
New cache in place. Please be careful as you will be overlooked as well as seen from the road.

Called past this am and the gardeners appear to have taken the cache. Will replace asap.
I see where I think it should be but not there. Lots of dead leaves so hard to look where last finder placed.
