Can't guarantee that this will be replaced anytime soon, so am unfortunately archiving.
No luck for us here today, but with time against us we didn't spend too much time here.
Have been out to check the cache and it does seem to have disappeared. Will see if I can replace it soon, otherwise it may need to be archived.
Nice easy find with team MacDonald TFTC

We headed down to this part of the world for Queens Birthday, finding a few caches as we went

Out for a quiet Sunday drive/caching trip. With the sun shining we couldn't have wished for better weather.
Mission for the day is to attack some caches in the Pareora Gorge and head to Fairlie for lunch and ice cream.
Nice quick log after figuring out which area we needed to be in. I liked the memorial stone out the front. It's a shame it's not there anymore.

Lovely spot and one of several just like this. Even the hall looked recognisable. Worked in these kinds of places for 25yrs. Nice to have the log replaced but it is getting wet as well. Thank you.
quick find this morning removed and replaced the saturated log book tftc
approaching GZ i groaned... the local crazy idiots on bikes had made the area GZ for there of their bike racing for the day... parked up and wondered if i could get away with some acting.. thought id give it a go.. parked up near the building and wandered over to the.... GZ pretending to be amazed by its presence.. so amazed that i had to sit down in just the right place... i think i must of looked a bit rough in my holiday casuals, unshaven and tall... a couple of curious kids approached then thought better off it..(grrrr) log is damp but signed. thanks:-)
Thanks for the history of the place. And the great playground!! Young member of the Meijer Clan loved it! Log a bit wet but usuable
Caretaker doing a spot of weed-spraying with a napsack as I pulled up [:0]. However, not interested in me and a quick grab.
Memories of the cache itself pale into insignificance when compared to the fun we all had playing on the flying fox. That flying fox is brilliant fun. Any body doing this cache should set aside 5 minutes to have a play and if you have kids at least 15 minutes.
Another beautiful day for some caching in South Canterbury. Thanks for the hide.
An interesting wee stop this afternoon, the facilities look to be well used.
Thanks

A quick find on a beautiful day.

I visited your cache as part of a week-long self indulgent Geocaching trip from Nelson to Bluff and back again. I apologise for not leaving a completely personalised log, but I do want to thank you for the time, money and effort you put into placing your caches. Without people like you who place caches, there would be nothing for the rest of us to come and find. You are fantastic
This cache was found as part of the New Zealand MEGA 2012 Event trip.

Beautiful day for a tour of the countryside around Timaru picking up a few caches on the way. TFTC!
2nd cache of day, glad of the rest here, quite a peddle up from timaru. tftc.
This was our destination today, a dance at the Claremont Hall. Nice to combine 2 hobbies, geocaching and dancing. TFTC
My last (planned) cache for the day...and I'd promised the kids some time at a playground on the way home. I managed both here, a fluke as I'd not been here before. A well set up hall, with bbq etc. I wonder if the Claremont tennis club is still running? TFTC SL
3861. A good ride into here across the country roads for a quick find.
Thanks

Cache found, log signed and returned without being noticed by the locals arriving at the Hall. TFTC
I took a bit of a rest here with my bicycle on a ride from Timaru and found the cache. TFTC.
A good hide & a great memorial. My Grandfather was born & brought up in this district and I'm sure he and his sibs would have gone to Claremont School. TFTC.
I was left to find this on my own as the kids rushed off to the playground equipment. TFTC
We certainly remember Claremont! After two unsuccessful visits to this location seeking the previous cache which was there, this one, fortunately, was a quick easy find. TFTC
another nice cache.
and also, the first day with our new cache-hounds.
I was here earlier in the day, but there wer a few playing tennis.
Had I been on my bike, I may have been able to pretend I was sitting on the rock for a rest.
LOL:
Cheers

Been close to this spot before caching hunt, last time there was a running race change over here, but just me and the birds this morning.
Thanks Bitsprayer

Didn't realize there was a playground here. Baby-Organist was not impressed, but we were on a cache dash!
